Matching contacts to accounts Eloqua

Hello

What is the best way to match Contacts to accounts Eloqua?  We believe by using game rules and attempt to match the name of the company (although there are several versions of the names of companies in the contact "company" fields) or email field on the contact record, to the site's domain registration Web account.  Does anyone do this?  Recommendations or the best ways to match contacts accounts automatically?  I heard using 'Special Eloqua Corporation game' according to the rules of deletion of duplicates, but read some negative comments about it.  Any advice on that?

We use SFDC as our CRM account and synchronize the data with Eloqua to get the list of account in the Eloqua database.  Like mentioned Mary, like too use SFDC contact ID as the unique identifier for the synchronization of the contacts of Eloqua SFDC then SFDC to Eloqua is by email address.  We found there is a chance for the duplicate when the employee updated the email value in SFDC and don't update the value email at the same time in Eloqua, during the SFDC--> Eloqua sync, it to be treated as a new contact so now we have two records Eloqua for the same contact using the same ID SFDC and this will continue to change the value of the email in the folder SFDC old email to new email and then, almost never stop synchronization/update until that someone manually correct this by updating the databases to use the correct email address.  Today, we have done manual placed to monitor and update this but if anyone has idea about automating this process, please share :-)

Regarding the contact to account mapping...

Last year we worked with the team Eloqua Concierge to build a program in the program generator that if auto card contact to our target account can sync with SFDC.  If the contact do not fall into one of our target account, they will remain in Eloqua (not mapped to the account).  It's a big improvement for us to examine the lists manually in order to map the contact on accounts will miss more us the regular daily online form submissions.  It saved a lot of manual work for us!

I have particular screenshot of the steps used in the program, but for more information / details, you will need to check with the Eloqua experts.

Find a close match for contact with a company (I think that if a Word key in the name of the company, as you say, there may be several versions of a company name, this has been discussed before the construction Expert Eloqua program) then once it finds a close match then should check email domain match Web site to get a better confirmation if it is the right of the company.

Then the country or the city match? We have several recordings account for some companies based on location, we want to make sure you link the contact to the right account record.

If the program capable of matching the contact to an account and then send direct program score then sync to the SFDC program.

I hope this will give you an idea on how to do the mapping in Eloqua.

    One of you need to create a new iCloud account.

    Once this has been set up, go to settings > mail, contacts, calendars and add the ID (that you currently share) as a secondary ID.     Hello, on the #4 computer, when I use the command run, I get a list of 4 users. A, B, C, and comments.
    When I look in Control Panel I see 4 users, A, C, D and comments.
    When I go to C\:Users I see B, C, D and comments.
    I have problems with this computer #4, I get access denied, check the spelling, error code 8007005 0 x.
    All of these accounts should not match in computer #4?

    On my 3 other computers that can network with each other the results of the run command, results of the Panel control and C:\User results all correspond to A, C, D and are same as seen in Control Panel of the computer #4 comments.

    I think that the problem lies in computer #4 and is linked to the user names/accounts do not match. 4 computers user accounts all corresponding in Control Panel, so no problems.

    Don't you think that this problem of networking is related to incompatibility I describe? How can I fix this?   Gift of TIA

    I finally thought to it. They wore all the user names that came when I ran the command "control userpasswords2". As I said in my original post, user names in all the names of the Panel user control over all matching computers. The only conflict I've had was in the list of user names in the list found when I ran "control userpasswords2". I went to highlight the 'B' account after that I ran the command, you click Properties and changed his name to 'A'. This solved my access denied problem once and for all. Apparently he does not have all of the accounts in the control panel.

  • Filter Contacts by account?

    I want to create two lists of contact - current and former Contacts, but be able to select one or two to show at a time.

    Is there a way to filter contact other than through account display in the people app?  For example, in the calendar application, I can create several calendars and select that appear.  In Office Outlook, I can create a list of old Contact in an Archive folder and select when I want to see those.

    I can't find a way to do, even by using groups.  Any suggestions are appreciated!

    I do some forest - drowning on contacts who have left a program and it is not a black arrow to dig in the record of this email contact address, email, etc. I copy and paste the worksheet (if I'm in Firefox, in Internet Explorer, you can't) or export and look them up individually in Eloqua. I'm sure that this feature request has been requested before, as this has been a problem since the dawn of time.

    Currently in Eloqua 10 funnel program contact is history report is the same as that makes Eloqua 9, and unfortunately it is not possible to dig into the contact.

    There are new reports added to each new version of Eloqua 10, so I recommend you connecting a with Eloqua support team feature request in order to seduce the most.

    Is it possible to use a wildcard character in a Contact of 9 Eloqua filter so that it returns to those who say has a NAICS code starting with 44 or 45, without having to create filters for each? You can use the filter "value in" with wildcards? I tried and it doesn't seem to work. All opinions are appreciated.

    Can't be done, "have a value" requires an exact match.

    You could do this with a simple program and the data however editor cloud connector.

    I created my own windows App in .net for recover data from Eloqua-10 Contacts using the Eloqua API version 1.2. When I ask for the contact entity by using the following code:

    where if I give pageSize in more than 125 it gives the following error msg being attached to this discussion. While I've made thousands and I want back all in a single query. Kindly, help me on the same based on the ASAP. It will be a great help for me.
