  • How to move from windows xp to the french, the french

Hi, I am selling my computer to my french friend.  Show me how to turn in all french.

In the unlikely event that you have in Windows XP Enterprise edition, you can use the utility Microsoft Windows MUI in the menus, messages, & c holdings to the French. Otherwise, you or your friend will have to remove the English-localized version of Windows XP and install the localized version of French.

Then there is the case of all installed programs. Changing to the French Windows XP does not change requests for the French.

  • Lack of VWiFi Windows 7

Since the departure of Windows 7 Release Candidate (build 7100) 32-bit with Windows 7 Professional 32 bit bought from windows7.digitalriver.com I have more Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter is on my list of network connections. The computer I use is a HP Pavilion dv6439nr laptop. I did a clean install of Windows 7 Professional.

Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter had been posted in my network connections list, when I got Windows 7 Release Candidate (build 7100) installed. Although it looked interesting I wasn't concerned by what vwifi, because there seems to be almost no information about its use in fact. Then I discovered the Connectify app and I would really use it.

I used Driver Magician Lite to backup my Windows 7 Release Candidate drivers both my Windows 7 professional drivers. Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter is included in the Release Candidate drivers, but it is not present in the professional drivers. I tried right-clicking on the netvwifimp.inf of Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter configuration file and choice of installation, but I get an error message that says: "the INF file you selected does not support this installation method.

Windows 7 Release Candidate was supposed to be the ultimate edition of Windows 7, but what I read vwifi is supposed to be in all versions of Windows 7. Perhaps vwifi has been disabled in my 32-bit special student edition, which seems unlikely BUT not impossible, given that Windows games have been disabled by default. It is maybe a driver issue, but why would the Release Candidate worked but not the professional version now.

I hope that someone please advise on what may be the problem and how to solve potentially.

I uninstalled the current driver and then install the driver from HP for my card wireless, then rebooted, and vwifi do not arise. I uninstalled the driver from HP and then in Device Manager I right click the directory of network adapters and click on "search the hardware changes. Windows has automatically installed a driver for the card wireless as well as map of Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport.

  • Missing data after Windows Update

    original title: update Windows

Yesterday, 26/06/10 Windows updated with this: Microsoft.NET Framework 4 Client Profile for Windows Vista based on X 64 system KB982670.  I think that the update wiped a bunch of stuff from my computer.  How can I get that back?

How is it do you think that he wipe any data? It is very unlikely that this (or any other Windows Update) would erase all data.

In any case, if you really think that something is wrong, you can use System Restore to restore the computer before the update was installed.

    baseball2013,

Here are the specifications of your Compaq Presario SR1320NX desktop computer and its (salmon) K8S - THE motherboard. According to the specification, this model was presented for sale on or around 12/01/2004 and is unlikely to be fully compatible with Windows 7. At a minimum, you will need to install a Windows 7 "Aero" capable AGP 8 x video card. You may experience other problems as well. After I installed Windows 7, update complete including SP1 and all the updates/drivers that it provides.

    Alan,

What type of telephone service you have?  In particular, you try to connect your fax modem to a VoIP service (Internet phone) such that you can get cable TV providers Internet service or through the use of a product like the MagicJack or is the fax modem connected to an analog telephone line old?

If you can send and receive faxes from any other fax machines, the issue is highly unlikely be caused by one of Windows issues mentioned by the "Support Engineer".

The segment of the modem log and that you have provided normal air.  It's all part of the modem initiation procedure.  The modem log does not include real sending or receiving a fax.  Low DSR message seems to be normal (it's in my diary too).

If you use a normal phone line, my guess is that there is a problem at the Retreat Center International UK.  There might be a support tech office here, but I doubt it.

If you use VoIP, ask your service provider for assistance.

Assuming that it is important that you can send a fax to the recipient, I suggest that you look in one of the online services of fax Internet such as eFax.com...  I don't have any personal experience with any of these services.  See http://lifehacker.com/5635900/five-best-fax-services

  • Check emails in Windows 7

How save you an email in the Inbox Windows 7 to a folder on the desktop? In Windows XP, you can right click on the email address and have the ability to record on various issues. Do a right click in Windows 7 does not seem to work.

Windows 7 is an operating system, not a mail client. Unlike XP and other versions of Windows, Win7 comes not with built in the e-mail program, so it is essential you specify that you are using.

I'll take a TROUBLEMAKER that you use Windows Live Mail. If you click on a message header, you have the same options as its OE made, including copies in the folder and move to folder in the program itself.

If you want to save a message to a folder on the desktop, your choice is always the same as OE. Either: File | Save slot, or just simply drag the message to a folder on the desktop. Bruce Hagen MS - MVP [Mail]

  • Activate the pointer of the mouse on windows Tablet 8

    Hello

I have a question on how to enable the mouse pointer on a touch screen of windows 8 tablets with no touch pad or are anchored.
Is it possible to do this from the settings or control panel?
I have here a way to install a virtual driver for a mouse to display the mouse pointer?
    Kind regards
    Mario

No, the mouse pointer is not displayed, unless a pointing without touchscreen device is used.  If you use your finger, the mouse pointer is not drawn.

Unlike the old operating systems (like Windows 7) who simply moved the slider and sent false "clicks" when you used the key, the touch system of Windows 8 is designed to work like that on the iPhone or Android: there is no cursor when you use the key (not even an invisible backstage).

I use Windows XP PRO Sp 3. I tried to open an iTunes download & got this message. "APSDaemon.exe that this application was able to start. Could not locate the component that msvcr.90.dll was not found. Re-installing may fix this problem. "
All this happened after I tried to install a new update Apple iTunes. He kept saying that he could not install... I tried several different things to solve this problem, including doing a system restore in frustration, for 2 days before today... I tried to update iTunes, not always the case. Help, I'm a no techno, so please do not just refer me to somewhere else, I will never understand what I'm told to do, whenever I am sent somewhere else, I can't solve my problem & give up in frustration. Please can someone take pity on me & guide me through the fix?
A related problem, I tried to run iTunes from the desktop, but I got was the Mini audio player.
I just tried to recreate that & got again the error messages, the one listed above main & another one that says "iTunes is not installed correctly. Please re - install. Error 7 (Windows error 126).
Whenever I try to re - install, I get the error again on the component .dll.
I hope that's enough info to try & help me. I really need this fix to work as I have many meditations downloaded on iTunes, because Windows Media Player could not open the files.   It would take me hours & hours to find where they came, they were downloaded over 4 years!
    Thank you in advance.

If you have not had luck in iTunes (https://discussions.apple.com/community/itunes/itunes_for_windows?view=discussions#/?tagSet=1234) forum, uninstall and reinstall iTunes as described below:

To perform a "clean" iTunes installation uses this technique proposed, from Support of Apple HT1926 article.  (If you are using Vista, see THIS instead).

Go to control panel > Add/Remove programs
Remove these applications in the following order (do not restart your computer if you are prompted during this process):

    1 iTunes
    2. Apple Software Update
    3. Apple Mobile Device Support
    4 Hello
5 Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)

    6. iPod for Windows (this may or may not exist, be it, it is not necessary, then we can remove it)

    7. iPod Updater

    8 QuickTime

Open my computer > C: > Program Files
    Delete these files (if present)
    1 iPod
    2 iTunes
    3 QuickTime

Follow these steps if the message "cannot delete iPodService.exe: it is used by another person or program" appears when you try to delete the folder of the iPod.

    1. Make sure that you have iTunes and iPod Update utility are not open.
    2. Press Ctrl-Alt-Delete.
    3. Select Start Task Manager.
    4. Click the processes tab.
    5. Locate the iPodService.exe in the list.
    6. IPodService.exe-click and choose end process.
    7. Quit Task Manager.

    Empty your temp directory:
Open my computer > C: > Documents & Settings > username > Local Settings and delete the contents of the folder called "Temp".

If you don't see the local settings, enable hidden files:
Tools > Folder Options > view tab
Select Show Hidden Files & folder, and then click OK

Once this file is empty, restart the computer

NOTE: If you have trouble uninstalling applications, or if you have a problem, reinstall iTunes because the installer complains that it can not uninstall the current version of iTunes, see the 'Installation issues' section below.

Download & reinstall iTunes from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

    Installation problems

There are several tools to deal with problems installing or uninstalling applications.  If you have these problems, the following should help.  Before using one of these tools (including #3), you must create a restore point from the system first (or back up the registry with C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT).  See http://windowsxp.mvps.org/registry.htm a complete disk image would be safer if you have this ability.

1 Microsoft has a program install and the resolution of the problems of the uninstalling which is supposed to "work better" and be "safer" to use the old Install Cleanup Utility (3 below).

    2. free Revo Uninstaller.  You can also download a trial version of uninstaller Revo's ' Pro', which has a few more aggressive cleaning options, but this should not be necessary.

3 Microsoft Windows Install Cleanup Utility.  Although this tool has been the preferred tool to deal with the problems of Windows Installer, Microsoft removed from Microsoft download servers because it seems sometimes deleted more than he was supposed to (I believe this was linked to Office uninstall).  You can still get Windows Installer Cleanup here--> http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html utility

  • Windows is not inviting them to download pictures from the iphone

It worked... the last month but now when I connect my 5 Iphone to my computer iTunes opens, but he is not ready to do anything for the photos.

The iphone does not show under "computer" shut up... it displays an icon for «icloud photos»

I want to just save the photos from my phone to a folder in my pictures... as I always!

    Always Windows XP btw

Well, it seems that this has to do with the end of support for Windows XP... will not be device drivers up-to-date.

I doubt that, unless you're referring to updates of the driver through Windows Update, that you should NEVER accept for XP.  For Windows XP, an update of the driver should only be downloaded since then, either site of the manufacturer of your computer (e.g., Dell, HP, Lenovo) or the website of the manufacturer of the hardware in question, for example, Apple.

If iTunes recognizes the phone but the phone does not appear in my computer or Windows Explorer (really the same thing), the problem is likely to be something wrong with AppleMobileDeviceHelper.exe AppleMobileDeviceService.exe or another part of the iTunes installation package.

I suggest you uninstall iTunes as follows, then download and install the latest version:

To perform a 'clean' of iTunes installation use this technique proposed, taken from the Apple bandages HT 1925 and HT1926.  (If you are using Vista, see THIS instead).

Go to control panel > Add/Remove programs
Remove these applications in the following order (do not restart your computer if you are prompted during this process):

    1. iTunes (if other program entries were listed for iTunes in Add / Remove Programs, remove these establishments)
    2. iPod Updater (if present)
    3. Apple Software Update
    4. Apple Mobile Device Support
    5. Hello
    6. Application of Apple Support (iTunes 9 or later)
    7. iPod for Windows (this may or may not exist, be it, it is not necessary, then we can remove it)
    8. QuickTime

    Delete these files (if present)

    1. iPod
    2. iTunes
    3. Hello

    5. QuickTime

Follow these steps if the message "cannot delete iPodService.exe: it is used by another person or program" appears when you try to delete the folder of the iPod.

  • Activate or install the Terminal Server Service in Windows XP

I try to install Norton Internet Security, but it stops the installation and displays an error message - "this process cannot continue because of a system service which cannot be installed or does not start...". ». According to this, I need to activate the Terminal Service. I tried for two days to find out how to do this without success.

    Can anyone help please?

We consider that you have Windows XP (sp3, preferably).  If you don't have XP, ignore the rest of the post and answer in determining which version of Windows you have, including service pack.

Exactly what happened when you tried the sc create command?  Please provide the full error message.

In the Services applet, what is the status of "DCOM Service Process Launcher"?

    Termsrv.dll is present in C:\Windows\system32?
    Perfts.dll is present in C:\Windows\system32?

Open regedit and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services

Is a subkey named present TermService?  TermService should have 3 subkeys: Enum, settings and Performance.

The following is for Windows XP sp3.  Before editing the registry, it is a good idea to make a backup first.  Unless you do a system restore point.  Or use C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT.

If the TermService key and its subkeys are not present (but 2 dll above files are present) copy the material between the * in a Notepad window.  The 'Save as type' value 'All Files' and save the file as TS.reg.  Then right-click on the file and select Merge.

  • Windows XP "Apple Mobile Device Driver not installed not" device need driver mobile HELP running XP service pack 3 using an iphone 4

Problems with the iphone 4 who it says in itunes that "Apple Mobile Device Driver not found" and nothing happens when it is connected to the USB port on charge even not. Running Windows XP 32-bit with Service Pack 3. but think I deleted all the drivers mobile when I uninstalled my Blackberry and removed the current mobile device drivers. Apple went through just fine and everything is OK it is a problem of PC and XP. Microsoft help put me on this site because need to know how to solve this problem I hope that somewhere there are mobile device drivers that work with the iphone? Site Internet de Microsft has 5 mobile device for Windows 7 drivers, but not for XP. Need help!

Apple went through just fine and everything is OK it is a problem of PC and XP.

Evasive classic.  It's always the problem of the other guy.

And the classic response of some evil-educated person "technical support":

Microsoft help put me on this site

If the error message says 'Mobile Apple Device not found Driver' then it's an Apple problem, pure and simple.  The device driver mobile for the iPhone comes from Apple, not Microsoft.

Do you remember what you were doing when you "deleted all the drivers mobile when I uninstalled my Blackberry and removed the current mobile device drivers?"

Probably not... and you have not explained what has been included in "Apple went through everything."  It is time to start over by removing everything related to Apple and then put it back correctly.

First, however, the fact that the iPhone does not load even when connected to a USB port is a bit worrying.  Works in everything else in this USB port (for example, a USB flash drive)?

Have you tried all the USB ports on your computer?  Take a look in the Device Manager (start > run > devmgmt.msc > OK) and see if there are any icons showing warning.  If so, double-click on the entry and information "device status".

Take a look at the event viewer (start > run > eventvwr > OK).  There is no need to go far.  Connect your iPhone, then look at the newspapers (System and Application) for since a few minutes see if there are any errors or warnings.  If so, double-click on it to get the event properties window, and then click the "Copy" icon (just below of the)

Have you tried to recharge the iPhone using the adapter connected to Apple's USB cable?  Does it work?

Have you tried to connect the iPhone to another computer?  With what results?

Assuming that the hardware (iPhone, USB cable, and USB ports on your computer) is not working properly, see the following topics.

To perform a "clean" iTunes installation uses this technique proposed, from Support of Apple HT1926 article.

Warning: uninstall utility for cleaning Windows mentioned in the instructions below has been removed from Microsoft download servers because sometimes it seems more removed he was supposed to (I think that this phenomenon was linked to the bureau uninstalls).  You can still get utility Windows Installer Cleanup--> http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.html here is a free alternative Revo Uninstaller. Before using these cleaning products, you must create a restore point from the system first (or back up the registry with C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT).  See http://windowsxp.mvps.org/registry.htm a complete disk image would be safer if you have this ability.

Go to control panel > Add/Remove programs
    Remove these applications:
    1 Apple Software Update
    2. Apple Mobile Device Support
    3 Hello
4 iPod for Windows (this may or may not exist, be it, it is not necessary, then we can remove it)
    5 iTunes
    6 QuickTime

Open my computer > C: > Program Files
    Delete this files (if present)
    1 iPod
    2 iTunes
    3 QuickTime

    Empty your temp directory:
Open my computer > C: > Documents & Settings > username > Local Settings and delete the contents of the folder called "Temp".

If you don't see the local settings, enable hidden files:
Tools > Folder Options > view tab
Select Show Hidden Files & folder, and then click OK

Once this file is empty, restart the computer

Download & install the Windows Installer Cleanup utility: [see note above regarding cleanup utility]
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/290301/
Launch the utility: start > programs > Windows Installer Clean Up
Select one of the applications mentioned above and click on remove

    Restart the computer
Download & reinstall iTunes from here: http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/

  • Error "Windows-low on registry space."

    32-bit XP Pro

For several weeks now, whenever I boot this computer, when I get to the
Office, I get a box 'Windows-low on registry space' which says: the system has
has reached the maximum size allowed for the part of the registry system.
Additional storage requests will be ignored"I check Regedit under mount points
and there is only 4 letters to drive it. Any idea what's going on with that?

Although this article claims do not apply to XP, the error message described that it corresponds to the error you describe.  The solution is perhaps the same thing:

"Machine to Windows Server 2008 or Windows Server 2003 still honor the limit of size of registry (RSL) feature if the RegistrySizeLimit registry key has the value"

Your error message is the last described.

If that doesn't help, you could try squeezing out the soft space in your registry.  When the registry keys are deleted, the space is kept in the register and new entries are always added at the end.  There is a freeware program "NTREGOPT" who shake free space of your registry, hope that making it small enough, do not trigger your warning messages.  Note that this is not a "Registry cleanup" tool because it does not alter any entry already active in your registry.  A good precaution would be to use C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT (same site) to back up your registry before compaction.
