• Switch to a different space drives me crazy

  I'll have a big problem with several spaces and OS X switch automatically between them. I disabled the option in system preferences to switch automatically to a space with open windows when switching to an application, but this option do not what it is supposed to do. I installed several areas dedicated to different tasks/projects. Thus, some space might be devoted to programming of work for a particular client, another space to teach, etc.. Now let's say I need a Safari window to search for documentation in the customer area where I am currently working in Eclipse. I want command + tab to Safari AND STAY in THE SAME SPACE! But the operating system decides to spend the 'Teaching' space where a Safari window is open. Using a keyboard shortcut to return to the client area, the operating system active again the old application (e.g., Eclipse). Using command + tab again now brings Safari to the front WITHOUT SWITCHING SPACE! And the behavior is completely different when Safari was hidden before or not (command-h). This morning, I was in my "General work" space, mail forward, a Safari window open in the back (Safari NOT hidden!). I clicked on a link in an email and a new windows Safari open in a DIFFERENT SPACE. The madness continues and is not related to Safari. It happens with all applications. Just today, I command-tab for BBEdit, which has no window open in space, but in other areas. And that's no switch space occurs.   Since I updated to the latest FF v32 it always checks the compatibility of the addons whenever I start it. It was really boring, so I went back to a previous version and everything worked well, all the addons worked and there was no question but this new version has done nothing but give me a headache. Is this a bug in the new update system or what? Do a fresh install with it, with a new directory and I tried with same. Remove the old prefetch (if any), the windows cache, restarted, but the same problem.

  I have a Macbook Pro of the retina (11.3 end 2013) gives me a headache with WiFi at home.

Whenever I tried the Configurator wizard get correct for a few minutes, and then internet connection disappears again.

  So, what can cause this problem? Why I have a solid connection in my studio and not at home? Why the other macbook is great if I have the same values TCP/IP and DNS? The internet provider, I called and they told me that they work with IP and dynamic DNS, so it's good to let them 'automatic', which is what I use.

  Please do the following and after each test to see if the problem is resolved - if yes, then you can omit the following steps - I tried to list them in ascending order of the effort at least on a Mac and / or an iDevice

  1. Check if the problem is related to a single device and if other devices connect normally-
  2. If the answer 1 is 'yes' - try to connect the device assigned to somewhere else if possible - coffee or the University
  3. Settings - WiFi - < network name > - Click on forget network - do a restart forced according to 3 and then add again the network
  4. If home - reboot the router by unplugging it for 60 seconds (power) and the plug and reconnect - obviously, this step can be done in a public place like a cafe or airport or University. While you're there - make sure your router is working on the latest firmware (check manufacturer's website)
  5. Hold the pointer over the WiFi icon - click Option and then press the icon - run diagnostics of WiFi
  6. If no problem - let it run in the background and see if it detects something
  7. While you're there - make a snapshot of the gray matter and post it after deletion of personal information
  8. An appointment of 'Genius' to an Apple Store, or select another authorized service provider.
