  Is there a system role that is used to change the UOM conversion in GSM? Some of our users are able to edit these, and some are not. After reviewing the system roles, the only role associated directly to the unit of MEASURE is the AVAILABLE_UOM_ADMIN, which is a different section on specifications.

  Spec Editor role is sufficient. You should also have a category UOM and Base Unit of MEASURE selected.

  I've updated Muse to the 2015 edition, and everytime I open the program after that, I have to wait to get: 'User Converting libraries' - it's almost half an hour. -What can be wrong?

  On the installation of Photoshop elements 13, I tried to convert my catalog of 12 elements in Photoshop. The conversion fails with the following message:

  My sggestion:

  Make a copy of the entire catalog somewhere else on your computer.

  Delete everything related to folders, files and "Breeze".

  Try to convert by navigating to the new location of the file (wait a few seconds until the catalog is recognized).

  If it works, the new copy will have only lost data from "Visual similarity.

  so I have a 10 windows Tablet and I had photoshop on this subject. It opens and the tabs and things work very well. but the problem is I can't use a mouse, and it's a tablet. When I try to use the selection tool, or nothing happens. is anyway to make touch friendly?

    • Probably check with a usb mouse and see if the problem reoccurs
  • Open PS - preferences - tools and check the option 'enable gestures '.

  HI - hoping someone can offer some tips here.

  I'm a professional aerial photographer, although it is perhaps a misnomer, because all my work is on the video (not still images). I use Photoshop (package of creative cloud) for all my video editing for more than a year, but find myself needing a bit of functionality that is only in the Premier Pro.

  My questions are:

  • First Pro uses .psd as PS files? I'd love to have a transition smoothly and be able to shoot to the top of my existing .psd files I created in PS, to allow me to do more editing, etc.
  • Any thoughts on the evolution of? Will this be a big change not? I don't really want to disrupt my operations too. I realize these open/subjective questions, but all opinions will be appreciated!
  • Can I still change the fixed occasional photo? I'll probably buy Premier Pro with a cloud creative package anyway, does that come with the ability to edit still images?

  PR Pro works great with Photoshop. You can import a psd files as separate layers, merge or as a sequence with the stacked layers.

  With Pr and Ps to work with is a big more. This can take some learning on your part, but I think it will go fast. In fact, this is what we are here to help you.

  This feature does not exist in Skype. If you want to remove selected conversations then you need to use 3rd party applications (browser/SQLite editor) to edit the database of main.db file where all conversations are recorded.

• Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 to the conversion of catalogue Adobe Photoshop elements 12 Organizer

  I can't not conversion Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 catalog Adobe Photoshop elements 12 Organizer.  I get an error of Conversion failure telling me to repair it with the program that created it.  I tried several things including deleting all .avi files in the catalog, removing references to missing files and you try to convert a backup external hard drive.  I am running Vista Home Premium on an HP laptop.  Optimize the organizer and repair doesn't help in this case.

  Does anyone have a history with this or advice?

• Digitization of thousands of photos + photoshop question

  I'm looking at 3 huge boxes of carefully packed photos, probably between 2-3 thousand photos. I had this silly idea that I would like to scan over time. Right.  A few years later and a little more maturity = mental health. I am wanting to analyze these, but am now to be realistic. I turned to this forum for the General opinions of thought. Hope you give me I wasn't really sure where I could ask this kind of question except in the heart of a forum dealing with photos + photoshop.

  I hear there are these companies now that I could send in boxes of photos and they analyze them for a hefty price. I did some research. You wanted to see if there are photoshop users who went down a similar path and could offer some advice.

  #1 What is the size don't recommend: 300 dpi or 600 dpi. I'm biased towards better quality, but I'm not a rich man.

  #2 someone at - it agreements past with companies to offer opinions about the person to choose or not to choose? I tried to find some kind of feedback online on businesses, but have failed so far. Any idea on where to find comments about the companies?

  I am open to your comments on anything related to this. I want to go through the pictures once I receive them and clean them in PS of course. Any ideas on how to store, organize, perhaps a few common mistakes to avoid when you install it.

  I've been down this road.

  In 2007, I have a pair of cases (no boxes, but case with lids and hinges) filled with slides, that my grandparents have taken between the end of the war and when my grandfather started using Polariods instead of his old Kodak, 1974. The final count of all scanned was a little more 13 000 and at the time wherever I eliminated duplicates, it amounts to 8 134. It takes a DVD-R (DL) to hold them all in 1024 X 768 and 300 dpi.

  A couple of things I've discovered in the process:

  1. have a good scanner makes much difference. I ponied up $ 114 to buy a medium high level Cannon which can scan slides and movies as well as images and documents. He has the ability to scan up to 1440DPI (an odd number, but the INCREDIBLE at this level clarity)...

  2. the software issues too. I have found that a combination of changes between PS (CS3) and PSE 6 cleaned and improved some slides that otherwise would have been painful to see.

  There are literally hundreds of slides that had turned RED over time, and PS was a measure group to cancel it, but PES has a tint correction 'one touch' which takes the photo to a State much more achievable so PS can improve colors in areas of law.

  Certainly, you encounter (I hope) it's as bad as the picture above, but if you have the time, I recommend you scan them yourself. I learned a lot of family history to go through all these slides with my father. Pictures make a lot more sense to me than if I had sent them to a unknown and decided to get a DVD to go.

  In addition, there are some pictures that require different parameters out of the way that you would like that. If send you them out, there is no guarantee that they will be scanned as you wish.

  I spent almost two months (4 at a time) scanning 13 000 slides, but now that I'm done, I can say it was worth.
