  If you have a music video, your friends sing you could install a flash drive on the Web site. If it is just an audio file, you must download the file to a file free host then post a link to the file on the Web site.  If Windows Media Player comes into play depends on what media player the person clicking the link used as their default media player.   I understand that this has been a matter of repetition and I made the suggestions listed and nothing works. This just started happening, although downloading songs, and once they are finished I'm not able to play them with Windows Media Player.   You may find that you are getting this message in Windows Media Player due to one of the following reasons.

  a. you try to play a file that is not supported by the player.

  b. you are trying to play a file that the player does not support, but the file was compressed by using a codec that is not supported by the player.

  Step 1:

  Confirm that you are trying to play a supported file type. The following article lists the types of files (formats) supported by Windows Media Player.

  Information on the types of media files that supports Windows Media Player

  Note that if you tried to play the file type is included in this table, the file might have been encoded with a codec that is not supported by Windows Media Player. If this is the case, Windows Media Player cannot play the file.

  If you talk to a Windows game, the only thing you can do is use your "windows key" or the alt + tab to switch between games. If you are talking about during the Xbox game, you can press the 'x' button and go in the settings of your Media Player and do what ever you need to do.

  Method 1: Try to change the region of the DVD player and check the result. To do this, try the following steps:

  a. Click Start, click computer.
  b. right click on the DVD drive, and then click Properties.
  c. click on the Hardware tab, click the properties button and modify the DVD of the region.

   

  Method 2: Uninstall the DVD player and check.

  a. Click Start, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

  b. develop DVD players, right click on the sub element and click on uninstall.

  c. restart the computer and check the result.

  Once you restart the computer, the DVD driver will be loaded automatically.

  d. try to play the DVD and check the result.
