• OverDrive Media 'transfer Assistant has stopped working ".

  I use the software OverDrive media console for years to download and listen to audio books from my local library. After the most recent update of windows 7 and the media console, I can transfer is no longer my audiobooks on my ipod. I've updated everything! When I click on the button transfer everything seems as it should. Then a box comes up and says "transfer Assistant has stopped working windows is looking for a solution..." I uninstalled and reinstalled the OverDrive and iTunes without success.  Any suggestion or help would be greatly appreciated.

• BlackBerry Smartphones card media transfer applications?

  I have a Pearl 8130.

  Is it possible to transfer some of my applications from the internal memory of the phone to the media card?  If so, these applications will still appear on my screen as usual?

  I just want to free up some of the memory of my phone if possible.  Thanks in advance!

  The space remains free, but only for the time that the application remains archived. Once you have actually run the application, it will be reinstalled in AppMemory (to run an application, it MUST be installed in AppMemory). If you have problems with memory at this time, your BB probably obediently will begin to delete things "lower priority" to make room for the app. Or, he may actually refuse to restore the app at AppMemory... I've never known this case.

  The executable for the scanner and Camera Wizard is:
  wiaacmgr.exe

  With the camera connected and turned on... go... Start / run... type or
  copy/paste the following and press on... Enter... must start the wizard:

  wiaacmgr.exe
  or...
  C:\Windows\System32\wiaacmgr.exe

  You can also go to... Start / Control Panel / scanners and cameras.
  Add a device of imagery... and attempt to add the camera.

• No Media don't Transfer Protocol ("GSP") Clip Jam? To come?

  I noticed that my new Clip Jam does not seem to support the "MTP" (Media Transfer Protocol) - while I think that the older models Clip used for? Is this something that will be presented by a Firmware Upgrade at some point?

  No, home jam, and sport are the only MSC devices. PSG is not supported and cannot be added in FW. It is a hardware limitation.

• WMP 11 crashes when you add media to the library from an external HARD drive

  I have win XP and current run WMP 11, I try to add data to my library on an external HARD drive, the player begins to add and then crashes... I tried rebulding, clear memory cache and re - install the software... I also tried the HARD drive on another machine, and it worked fine... solutions?

  When I click on Media hand, nothing happens.  Don't get the list no devices.  Yes, the device is on and in my local network.  Me Media Player program cancel and never wants to share.  He also contributed to the end of the task, because he did not respond.

• Xperia Arc and Media Go 2.0

  So I've recently updated to Media Go 2.0 and now there seems to be problems when I connect my bow to my PC.  The status of my phone in the menu principal just seems to hang.  Sometimes, it will update the files in my machine and other times (like now) it just hangs.  Also, it will not download any music on my phone everyone, it just stays at 0% or sometimes it will go to 90% and just hang out.

  Are there problems with Media Go 2.0?  Even uninstalling and using Media Go 1.8 do not seem to help at all.  But everything worked perfectly before the 2.0 update.

  No clue as to what could be the problem?

  I'm between a transfer of my Bold 9900 device to my Z10. It transfers currently media for the Z10. But it is stuck at 3.85 G off 5.11 G. There are certain movements, but it is very slow. What can I do?

• BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry Media Sync continues to display 'Please connect a Blackberry smart phone' when the Blackberry Storm is connected to the PC

  About a 2 months ago when I would like to connect my (the first storm) blackberry storm to my computer via the USB cable supplied with the phone, I was able to transfer music from my computer (itunes) to the blackberry via Blackberry Media Sync with no problems (open Blackberry Media Sync, connect blackberry to the computer via the USB port and screen Media Sync would change so that I could sync to the blackberry storm music). I didn't even have to install Blackberry Media Sync in December 2009

  But now after I connect my Blackberry Storm to my computer, the screen of Blackberry Media Sync does not change and continues to display "please connect a Blackberry smartphone. I tried these tips I found online:

  1.) several reboots my computer (windows vista)

  2.) update/reinstall Blackberry Media Sync, then by restarting my computer

  3.) reconnection from blackberry to the computer, then open Media Sync

  4.) Open Media Sync first and then connect the blackberry to the computer.

  5.) installation BlackBerry USB and Modem drivers (even if I can't find the USB driver for it under the Universal Serial Bus Controller when I check in the Device Manager when you go to control panel – system and Maintenance – Manager of devices, but I found a v2 COM4 and COM5 RIM virtual serial Port when you select "devices by connection" under display in Device Manager) or are RIM Serial Port virtual v2 COM4 and COM5 drivers I'm looking for?

  6.) go to Options (on blackberry) - memory and make sure Media Card Support, Media Transfer Protocol (MTO) and Mass Storage Mode Support are resolved on 'On', the encryption Mode is set to 'None' and mass storage Mode Auto activate when connected, it the value "Prompt" although I tried to 'Yes' as well. It says I have 785 MB of memory space of the unit out of 879 MB total memory of the device and 7.1 GB of free space on a total of 7.3 GB of Media Card Media Card.

  None of the above tips and troubleshooting tips worked. I also checked the Blackberry technical solution center but I've not found anything there that has contributed to the other. I found discussions forums online, including issues of people with 'blackberry media sync cannot connect to the device' pop up, but I have not had this pop-up. The Media Sync screen remains just the same as if I never connected the blackberry storm to my computer in the first place even if my blackberry storm recharges via the computer.

  Is there something that I miss or have not yet done? What should I do?

  Too bad. I went to a Verizon store and they me remove the battery and turn the blackberry. Worked like a charm and I can now use Media Sync.

  Also told me that I need to update the software of the phone blackberry using Blackberry Desktop software (I have version 4 and need to update to 5) and make sure to choose to back up files when you are prompted during the update or you will lose all files, the media and info saved on blackberry.

• BlackBerry Smartphones download photos from my media on my PC card

  I am a new user of BlackBerry Storm and I must say that I like this phone. I have however a problem getting my photos in the card support for my PC. I set up my phone to save my photos to the media card and I can view and send the images using my phone. When I connect my phone he asked me if I want to open my camera to view the files. I click to view files and a window opens showing me 2 icons on is the memory of the device and the other is the media card. When I double click the icon of the next window shows all files. I installed the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and he does not see the memory card and the device. Explorer displays only a drive letter for the device when I run Roxio Media Manager, but it never gives me a drive letter to the media card. I would like to be able to print some of these images, but right now I am at a loss on how to get this working.

  You can use a PC for the transfer of information between the PC and the media card.
  Basically you focus for the BB and PC USB. Don't use office
  Manager. Go to 'My Computer' on the PC and the BB will be displayed as a flash drive.
  Then you can "drag and drop" files on the BB.
  Use the following settings in the option of memory of the storm:

  Card support ON

  NONE encryption mode

  (Storm AND "BOLD" only) Media Transfer Protocol

  WE support mass storage

  Auto enable mass storage support when it is connected TO

  My old computer died and I bought an Acer Aspire one (mini laptop, a bit like a netbook) and the resolution is not sufficient to run the Media Manager. I need to be able to transfer files (specifically of word, excel and power point) to my Storm. Can I get the media manager? Or do I have to find another way to transfer files (and how I do that)?

• BlackBerry Smartphones Desktop Manager 4.7 for BB "BOLD" - Roxio does not recognize the SD Media

  I use the latest (version 4.7) Desktop Manager but Roxio will not recognize the SD card inserted in the phone.

  I tried (2) Micro SD cards with data on them both.

  The phone recognizes both cards and I can access the files via telephone.

  I forgot one option in Roxio?

  See if you can access the support card without using Desktop Manager.

• BlackBerry smartphones transfer photos from the memory of the unit storm 9530 for computer

  I've seen a few similar posts, but nothing worked for me.  I recently went on a trip and took more than 200 pictures on my Blackberry.  I need a simple way to transfer all of them to my computer because obviously send them one at a time, or moving them one at a time is not practical.

  When I go to Options > memory, all the options are defined on the (card, Media Transfer Protocol Support) and Mass Storage Mode Support.

  When I go to media > pictures > all pictures, I see all of my pictures.  When I go into photo files, it says the device memory.

  When connected to my PC via the USB port, I try to pull up in Windows Explorer.  I see options for device MTP - device memory and device MTP - Media Card.  There are only empty folders in the device memory.  Multimedia card has nothing under the data and only my music files in the media.  Similar behavior when I pull up in Windows Media Player.

  Any suggestions?

  If you change your Auto allow to invite, have you nothing appear on your BlackBerry?

  Take a look at KB19717 which may help you and note, according to the resolution, there is a fix that you can run the mass storage if needed repair.
