Memory 6c7u5q-5s96t3-qfph4k-401203 failure

Hello
My laptop cannot start. After a lot of blue screens, I tried to test my drive and memory. Test Drive was ok, but the memory test showed a failure, error: failure of memory 6c7u5q-5s96t3-qfph4k-401203.

Will be solved this problem if I replace with a new memory?

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hello

You are welcome

As you are under warranty, if you contact HP with the error code of 24 characters, they will have to replace the module.

Best regards

    MEMORY MODULE

    Window7 as operating system

Any help would be much appreciated!

    Hello

    Try the following.

First of all, regarding the manual of maintenance on the link below--remove and reposition your bars of memory.

If the above makes no difference, and you have more than one Module of memory installed, try the following - if you have only 1 Module installed, try in the other available slot.

Again, regards to the manual on the link below, delete one of your modules from memory and then see if the computer will start.  If it doesn't, try the same module, but in another location.  If it is still won't start, try the other memory module in both slots, to see if any combination will allow the laptop to boot up normally.

The procedure for withdrawal of these modules is detailed on Page 50 of your maintenance & Service Guide.

    Kind regards

  • Card memory on a Qosmio F20 failure

I have the qosmio f20-136 with built in card reader. I use a sony memory stick pro duo with adapter but my laptop seems no more read. He has worked in the past, seems to do it on my other card aswell.

Suggestions or quick solutions is useful

    Hello

I really put t believe Toshiba has tested this slots with adapters with the supported cards.

If you can not read other cards as well try to restore the system to an earlier time using System Restore utility. In this way it is not possible to give a precise answer because who knows what did you and try with your unit and this adapter (maybe installed a driver).

There is no quick fix for some issues. ;)

  • Satellite 2140cds MEMORY UPGRADE PROBLEMS

I currently own a 2140CDS satellite with 32 MB of ram standard.

I bought a module of memory of 128 MB (128 MB 144pin SODIMM PC100 3.3V CL = 2) of technology crucial to take my ram up to the maximum of 160 MB.

When I install the RAM, the computer doesn't recognize it, and I get no error while starting the system, the system shows still 32 MB

I had verified memory module and it works well, I had my slot memory computers checked to see if he had any problem with it. The computer and the module of memory seem to have no failure.

Can anyone give me a hint or help to solve this problem.

    Concerning

    Scott Bremner

    Hi Scott,.

I suggest these two modules autour swapping or just use the new 128 MB module to the main location.

Also, make sure that the modules of memory are firmly and correctly locked in place.

The normal recommendation is to use only authentic RAM Toshiba modules, but personally, I use the RAM modules that I got from ORCA, so I don't think that there should be no problem with your crucial.

  • HP 15-g088ca: issues of recovery and memory Fail

    Hi all

I'm having a serious problem. My father's brother-in-law broke this laptop so bad it fails even when you try to run the HP Recovery Manager, or set it to default settings.

I tried all the options I can think of and now I need help discerning people out there.

He did something that every time that he now starts upward, it begins with the message to "prepare the AutoFix.

When I tried all the options out there for a clean, dry and fresh install to simple recovery as it would fail anywhere from 6% to 32%.

Because it is out of warranty since August, I thought that I would just boot from the CD drive and load a new copy of windows 8 on there but even when I change options startup disk that does not work yet.

I put back to normal boot options, but now I do not even that.

Now, when I boot, I get a black screen that says:

  • Satellite C660-268 does not start, no start screen

My laptop Toshiba Satellite C660-268 was installing updates, then it froze for half an hour, I decided to force quit by pressing the power button.

I tried power, portable could not wake up, I can hear the fan but screen is not black, no post/splash screen (Bios screen), turn on the led goes for a few seconds and then turn off. I tried to press the important function, but nothing could make my laptop boot or stay on. Please,

I need your help in order to remake my boot laptop

I think that some of the material died during update installation.
From my point of few, it was simply bad luck that this error occurred during the update of the system.

There is only one real solution: the troublemaker should be found and replaced.

Theoretically, this issue can result from memory problems, but also the failure of the motherboard. The RAM modules are not very expensive and where the RAM is faulty, the fix is not a big problem.

But in case of malfunction of the motherboard, the laptop repair could be a very costly affair.

What could be the next step?
I think if you have no experience of mainframe, you should seek some professional help and assistance.

  • Constant panic kernel_task - Mac

Hello, can someone help me identify the problem for re-occuring kernel_task panic? I several times a day for the most part, when the computer is closed and sleep. I sometimes other panics and restarts where the main reason stated in the report that is noticed or Photos.

I got my computer twice to the approved service but they only run the hardware tests that showed negative issues.

They did own OS X install twice and I did not recover the backup system, but transferred the data only as a copy. There are only original material installed and no software other than Apple one.

I tried the memory resets, recovery mode (now D) and the other stuff found here.

This panic was not caused by a third-party software. If the problem recurs, the possibilities are:

    1. A stale or corrupt kernel cache
    2. A damaged OS x installation
    3. A flaw in a device, if applicable
    4. Corrupt the nonvolatile memory (NVRAM)
    5. Internal hardware failure (including incompatible memory)
    6. Obscure bug in OS X

You can already have excluded some of them. Some may not be applicable.

Rule # 1 by starting in safe mode , then restart as usual. Note: If FileVault is enabled in OS X 10.9 or an earlier version, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a Fusion drive or a software RAID, you can not do this. Ask for additional instructions.

You can exclude #2 and #3 in reinstalling the operating system and tests with non-essential devices disconnected and removed aftermarket expansion cards, if any. Sometimes a clean reinstall may solve a problem which is not resolved by reinstalling in place.

Corrupt the PRAM, which causes panic from time to time, may be excluded in resetting it.

If your model has replaceable memory by the user and you have upgraded modules of memory, reinstall the original memory and see if there is any improvement. Make sure not to touch the Gold contacts. Clean them with a mild solvent such as rubbing alcohol. Spare memory must exactly match the technical specifications of the machine.

Apple diagnostics or the Apple Hardware Test, as generally unreliable, sometimes detects a fault. A negative test may not be depended on. Run the long version of the test, if necessary.

More than a screen connected is another trigger for OS X bugs reported.

In the category of obscure bugs, damage the data on a file server, such as a Time Capsule backup - can sometimes trigger a panic. If necessary, remove all the network devices and see if the panic stop. If you use Time Machine, disable it temporarily in its preference pane.

Otherwise, an appointment of 'Genius' in an Apple Store, or switch to a different service provider authorized to have the tested machine. You may need to leave for several days. He is not much of interest to do this, unless you can reproduce the panic, or if you can't, it happens quite often that he is likely to be repeated at the store. Otherwise, you can be said that everything is fine.

Print the first page of the report panic and take it with you.

This panic was not caused by a third-party software. If the problem recurs, the possibilities are:

    1. A stale or corrupt kernel cache
    2. A damaged OS x installation
    3. A flaw in a device, if applicable
    4. Corrupt the nonvolatile memory (NVRAM)
    5. Internal hardware failure (including incompatible memory)
    6. Obscure bug in OS X

You can already have excluded some of them.

  • Working Mobile HP ZBook 17: HP ZBook 17 - how to locate the slot for failing to DIMM

When running memory diagnostics, I get a failure where newspapers are pointing to "channel Num Num 1 DIMM 0"- but nothing on which four slots contains DIMM failure.

Where can I find documentation that translates this DIMM/channel numbering scheme to the numbers 1-4 or location physical location (primary or Expansion) mentioned in the service manual?

I tried to keep this brief and precise question, but I can provide more details if necessary.

    Thank you!

I resorted to an approach of trial and error to swap DIMM and execution of diagnostic tests to find the bad DIMM.  It was tedious (especially where I had to keep remove the optical drive and the keyboard to switch to the primary slots), but I finally managed to determine that I had TWO bad DIMM, replaced those with the new, and I'm back running with 32 GB.

I never got an answer about the Diagnostics DIMM numbering at the locations of the physical location to translate, but I managed to learn more through my tests.  Here's what I've been able to determine:

    PHYSICAL DIAGNOSIS

    Channel #? / DIMM #0 main site #1

    Channel #? / DIMM #0 main site #2

    Channel #1 / #1 location #1 DIMM Expansion

    Channel #0 / DIMM #1 Expansion Slot #2

This should really be recorded somewhere and maybe I wasn't able to find the right document.  I hope this information helps someone else.

  • Upgrade to SSD

    Good morning-

I want to upgrade to an SSD as my first (C drive.) I know how to do the physical plant - the only thing I want to know is how to get my Windows 7 Professional SP1 x 64 on the SSD. I know that I can pull an existing HARD disk image and migrate to the SSD, but I put it on their neatly. So I have the recovery Partition (D of HDD and a set (4) recovery disks to work with media.) After making it, I'll use for My Documents and storage HARD drive. I want to only use the SSD for the OS and the progs.

    Thanks for the comments!

Great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds

Paragon Software is my preference. I highly recommend Migration of Paragon software.  They give me copies NFR software for my use free of charge.

Your image shows an AHCI driver is actually installed. You have the chance to own a model that allows the activation of the AHCI in the BIOS. Not that many laptops have this option.

I had no problem when I tested the download link I have provided. See the following image.

When you bought the memory you guaranteed that the manufacturer or seller guarantees compatibility with your specific laptop?

It is really not sufficient to just match plug published memory and connect a module and expect that it will work.

Which only adds uncertainty after an upgrade.

By different manufacturers of memory modules are not designed with the timings of primary and secondary identical.

This is why problems with modules that have not been tested by the manufacturer for the specific hardware.

If the Memory Diagnostic test indicates a failure, can believe it.

This is probably what is corrupt files in your operating system.

The memory usage that is not working properly can corrupt actually all an operating system and you probably don't want that to happen.

You should really consider changing your method of upgrade memory. Take the safe way with minimal risk. Identical pairs of guaranteed compatible memory upgrade. Never add a single module of memory which is not absolutely identical to the module that is already there.  The manufacturer has left to test.

I have been having increasing frequency in the last two weeks, can't think what I changed.  Someone sees something obvious I'm missing here?  Anything special I should know about com.apple.driver.AudioAUUC or com.apple.driver.AppleHWSensor? My research not turn anything final.

This panic was not caused by a third-party software. If the problem recurs, the possibilities are:

    1. A stale or corrupt kernel cache
    2. A damaged OS x installation
    3. A flaw in a device, if applicable
    4. Corrupt the nonvolatile memory (NVRAM)
    5. Internal hardware failure (including incompatible memory)
    6. Obscure bug in OS X

You can already have excluded some of them.

  • my notebook nc6400 is suspended during the windows XP splash screen. If I try in safe mode, it hangs

Also, I tried to repair the operating system using the XP disk however it crashes at the start to the top of the disc.

There are a few diagnostic tools on a CD that I can download to find out what particular hardware component is the problem?

    Thank you

    Hello

I propose to replace the hard drive first and see if this solves the problem - it is difficult to say if there is no problem with memory as the laptop may have turned off during the test memory because of the hard failure.

    Kind regards
