• CPU Dell Optiplex 755 problem

  Hello, I was told in one of the forums that a PROCESSOR Intel CORE 2 QUAD Q9650 SLB8W 3.0 GHz, 12 MB CACHE 1333 MHz FSB would work in my office. I bought on E - bay and installed with the bios already upgraded A22. It did not work. I tried to install my original CD which worked and now I can not do, even after. I removed the battery for an hour and that did not help. I tried a different video card in case that was the problem. I get absolutely nothing on the screen. I am at a loss. Does anyone know a thing or two to get it back running. I thank very you much for your time. Robb

  OK, so I ended up buying the card low profile Diamond HD Radeon 1 GB for my Dell Optiplex 755 minitour, well right off the bat I knew there would be problems, firstly the big black box is really tight against the card and because of two "transistors" just above the video card slot radeon hd7750 didn't come home. • Dell Optiplex 755 slimline DVD RW player replacement optical drive CD RW combo?

  I recently bought a Dell Optiplex 755 Tower. It came with an optical drive CD/DVD ROM I need to replace the optical DVD RW CD RW slimline drive. After having talked with Dell they recommended the disc Dell HV 702, but I do not think that the HV 702 will be read & burn these two formats (only CD RW & DVD ROM capacity), but I could be wrong. does anyone know if it's the combo drive that I'm looking for or, I should look a mftr of third party or another drive from Dell?

  SATA, who worked at the 2 update driver update changed 3.  So, you may be able to work around the problem of disk with a modified file, you can probably find at vm-help, but you will still need a NIC for networking.

  I just bought a Dell Optiplex 755 to replace the Zino HD 400, which eventually gave the soul. My question is: can I use the hard disk of 1 TB of the ZINO as second player for the 755 and can I buy a plug adapter for the second span Prewired in the 755 that would fit the Zino HD?

  Looks like the Zino has a SATA 2 HARD drive, so you shouldn't have any problems in the 755, unless you have the screenshot form factor that supports only a SATA hard drive, and you may have to remove the floppy drive the other models of form factor, if installed, to make room for a second HDD.

  You will probably be able to use the same data the Zino SATA cable the 755. Read the Manual for more information on the installation of a second HDD in your specific form factor.

  This is bad advice because the card in question is not necessarily in all cases EXCEPT TOUR because of the unique slot configuration.  FAT OFF heat sinks will not physically go in the models of desktop SFF and USFF has no slot so no card is an option.

  7750 (now called profile low 250 R7) uses more than 25W you run the risk of damaging your system.

  Low Profile Fanless Silent ASUS EAH6450 to 27W is the max I would use.
