  512 MB is low enough to run Vista. Run the http://www.crucial.com/ Crucial System Scanner to see if you can improve it. 1 GB is the minimum; 2 GB would be better.

• 5 GB memory loss!

  I have some problems with my Clip (8 GB) and maybe you can help me. When the player arrived, I immediately the charged battery and update to the latest firmware. Then I tried to move a playlist of about 5 GB on the Clip and everything seems to work perfectly. But when the download is almost complete, he apparently got stuck in the last track, so I had to stop the process at hand. After restarting of the gripper, none other than 5 download titles presented on it. • My Sansa e250 v1 is VERY strange (memory loss)?

  Today, I downloaded new music and went to synchronize on the e250. My e250 2 GB (v1: 01.02.24A) was dead at first, so I connected on the computer to give a head start to recharge before starting synchronization. After that the music was supposed to be safe on my camera, I turned it back to check and make sure that it is there. Instead of some 300 songs , I've had before (I also have a Micro SD card of 2 GB in there) I find only 11, with the logo of what meant he was on the SD card. (If none of you have the small logo beside it, I apologize, but that's what mine did). When I open the files on my computer first, and then in my Windows Media Player, it shows all my music on the device and also says that the memory is always repeated.   If any of you have this problem: I just fixed mine.

  Make sure that you back up ALL your music files if you want to resynchronize, because the only way to get rid of this weird problem is to do a complete memory dump - this means entering the Sansa e250 files on your computer WHILE THE DEVICE IS PLUGGED INand delete ALL SONGS, ALL OF THE VIDEO, ALL of these files. NOT the files themselves, those you need. Just the CONTENT of them. Then go into any media player you use and re - sync all. Or what you want there, is irrelevant. Then you have the music in the back. I have no earthly idea as to how it happened. All I know is that I fixed it.

• xD Picture card memory loss?

  I took my camera xD card to look at the pictures on my computer and it worked fine.  I put the chip in my camera and it tells me that I have to reformat the chip.  I put it in my computer and it tells me the same thing, I have to reformat.  I don't want to lose the pictures on the chip, is it possible that I can get to open without reformatting.  I tried all means to access that I can think of.

• Temperature and loss of the T30 memory bank

  Background

  I recently had a failure of the cooling fan in my T30.  The machine probably ran and hour or two without supervision before the failure was discovered and the computer turns off.  The fan has been repaired, re-installed and works very well.  In the process, I installed TPFanControl and acquired a knowledge of the temperatures in the system.  I am currently trying the T30 BIOS or intelligent control fan.  The times seem to have an acceptable margin anyway.

  The problem

  I installed 2 x 512 MB of RAM in March.  Memory showed only 1 GB and worked well.

  Shortly after the repair of fan, I noticed that my machine has apparently suffered the infamous Bank of MEMORY loss.

  I am inclined to think that the Bank was induced by the temperature.

  Another piece of information General, probably unrelated, is that I have lost and replaced my original HDD a month before the fan has failed.  Replacement and installation of the operating system was smooth.  I have had no opportunity to watch RAM at this time, so I can't say with certainty, that it's still OK then.  I can't see how this is relevant, but it would not let to the.

  Bottom Line

  I strongly suggest the users to install TPFanControl.  Monitor time to all less and even better control the fan with a reasonable set of limits compatible with your type of operation.  It can save you a card failure.

  Now I have to figure out what to do.  Someone at - he found a single 1 GB stick that would work on one side?

  Replacement motherboard is not financially attractive.  If I have to, I'll live with 512 MB.

  PS I installed RightMark too.  Works well for my type of use.  Nice little program.

  Any laptop PC2100/2700 stick of 1 GB RAM will work, no problem.

  See page 47. Pavilion 15 manuals are often a bit difficult to understand, does not mean that they are sometimes a bit misleading. Some models are configured with one or two memory locations, so the first thing I would do is to open the Bay of memory and see if there are 2 slots for sure. Your laptop came with a single module of 8 GB DDR3 - 1600, then the question is whether you have an open slot. If so, the specs say you can add a module of 4 GB of the same speed and type. Others have reported success with the addition of a module of 8 GB for a total of 16 concerts. Attention to the black blocks how are on the side of the module that you already have. 8 unlikely, what makes low density. Get the same module 8 GB or 4 GB.

  What do you mean by leaks memory, have you seen the increasment of memory when you run the VI without shutting it down? Or did you have seen memory leaks after you run the VI for 12 hours and STOP the race?

  If after a stop running, you see always 17 KB of memory "leak", what about you close the VI? Since it is possible that VI himself attributes may use of memory when running.

  This problem has been reported, and you seem to be exactly reproduce the conditions required to see this problem. This was reported to R & D (# 134314) for further investigations. There are several possible solutions, of which one is the one you have already found the wiring error directly in the loop. Other situations which give rise to no memory leak are:

  1 if the bytes of the property node port is not there and has read lies in each iteration and time-outs resulting are ignored.

  2. If the structure of the deal is gone and just blindly check the bytes to the port and read each iteration.

  3. If the timed loop is transformed into a while loop.

I tried to close the window of the Chrome browser and turn off my computer, but could not close the window without clicking OK in the pop-up window twice (what I did, STINKS!). I was then able to close chrome and restart my computer.

  Worried that I have can I have accidentally accessed a site with malware or something else harmful to my relatively new (bought summer 2015) MacAir.

  I looked at the BIOS updates and available Windows patches to the your laptop web support portal.. There is none is available for this problem. I believe that the error and have the fan replaced. Do not use the laptop until it's done. If the fan has failed, your CPU will overheat and fail.

  If your laptop is still under warranty, contact HP for warranty repair.

  Welcome to the HP Forums.

  I see you are trying to print in the Fast project.

  If you use a windows, what should be done is go in the devices and printers folder and right mouse click on the Deskjet printer icon, and then select Preferences.  On the paper/quality tab, select project. Click on apply and then OK to apply the change.

  If you are using a Mac, click on file, then print. This will open the print options window.  You may need to click on the dropdown arrow at the top right of the window if it is not expanded to display all the options.

  Under the Type of paper/quality, you will be able to see a down arrow quality option below.  Set this option to the project.

• HS SX60 - how long to keep the settings without main battery

  SX60 HS does not keep date/time settings and seems other setting too when the main battery is taken out for charging. How long camera must retain parameters without main battery? I sent the unit for repair, had refirbished with the same problem - memory loss.

  Should I continue to send the camera for repair under warranty until Canon will do something reasonable? Or return the money for that camera?

  The internal date and time battery should load up in 4 hours with a charged battery installed. Then it must retain the date and time for about 3 weeks once loaded and the battery removed.

  If this is not done or pretty close to that, then by all means send it back for repair or replacement or refund.

  To my knowledge, that is not a chronic problem with the SX60 so in all liklihood, you have a faulty they need repair.
