    Hello Breannadavis,

Thanks for your post.  First of all, let's make sure that you have the latest video drivers for your video card.  This has been known to fix this problem.  To get the latest driver, go to the website of the manufacturer of your system and download / install from there.

    Hello.

Any one out there know how to activate the display settings for each folder in WINDOWS 7?

I'm especially interested in adjusting the size and the location on my screen.  A few days earlier, before moving to Windows 7: I could open a file, place and size where I wanted, and when I opened it again, presto!, even spot and size.

I've seen several posts of users seeking to turn this feature off.  I'm looking forward in opposition.   I would like to than windows "remember each folder view settings.  This particular configuration seems to no longer be available in Windows 7, screenshot attached:

    1. Did you the latest changes on the computer?
    2. When was the last time it was working fine?

See the Microsoft article and try the steps mentioned, check if it helps.

  • Issues with the display settings - all super tiny

I have problems with the display settings, all of a sudden, everything was super great and difficult to see all the toolbars on the screen, I went to the settings display, and somehow managed to make everything incredibly tiny.  I found a page via the display settings (avancΘs?) that allowed me to adjust the percentage of the elements on the screen.  I reduced to 40%, and then the setting stuck and now I can not see or read anything.  I'm trying to return to the display settings, but I can't find this 'page' which allowed me to make this change.

    I saw a similar post:

"I messed up my display settings. my resolution is so great that I don't see anything but black vertical lines and sets of 3 white dotted lines in sequence across my screen. my mouse can not be seen either. is there anyway to restore my original settings? It's as if everything is bigger there should be 200 to 300%.

    Hello

There are a few things you can try:

    1. reboot the PC then start tapping the F8 key until you get the Windows Advanced on-screen Menu of Options.

Then choose "last good known Configuration". Allow Windows to start.

    2. restart PC then start tapping the F8 key until you get the Windows Advanced on-screen Menu of Options.

Then choose "Enable VGA Mode". Windows XP loads with the color values that can handle your "lower" resolution and display driver Once in Windows, change the resolution, then restart the PC.

    3. try to go into "Safe Mode", which is accessible in the same way as "VGA Mode". "Review the same routine as no. 2.

I tried to hit F8, but nothing happens, I tried to reboot several times.  How do the Advanced Options?  Someone knows it the screen that I talk with the possibility of adjusting the percentages, how can I find it again?  So I can not really read or see anything.

  • Download the file: continue to change the display settings

    Hi all

These days, he continues to be for no reason.
I put the display settings to my download folder. The list, by group type, sort by last modified.
However, without one apparent for this folder, other than asking to display its content, the undisciplined directory view my files in a detailed list with the default sort.

My path to the download folder have been changed from the original.
As my Windows is not in English, the name of path is also different from the display name (don't think that will have an impact as the path name is different from the name in all versions of windows-English).

The setting for the folder is 'General Elements' (in properties/customize).

Does anyone have the same problem before? In my view, is not only in the download folder.
Any idea to fix it? I tried using desktop.ini, because I used to do it a lot before, but nothing has changed in this file, when I tried to change the display using the browser configuration.
As I don't remember the setting of desktop.ini, I looked in the documentation.
    Here: http://hwiegman.home.xs4all.nl/desktopini.html
    And here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/cc144102%28v=vs.85%29.aspx
I changed the setting to 3 Vid == Mod.
As the problem appeared at random times, I do not know if my problem is solved :/

I have of course a question of law in the desktop.ini file.
If anyone has any idea... =)

    I had a similar problem.

Certain way when you change the name of the folder.  He lost the file that held the parameters.

I found that the easiest way is to rename the damaged library, I recommend

"Temp of library".  Then create a new library with the name of the library, in your case downloads.

or whatever you want to call it.

Then in the pane left right click the new library.

And then in the left pane right-click the library damaged, then copy the 'Library locations' by using the 'include a folder"in your new downloads folder.

Close windows Explorer.  Reopen and verify that your settings are as you wish.

You can delete the corrupted library.

Just changed in CS5 for CC.  In CS5 tools as emphasis would keep the last settings I used, which were of Villa close to what I wanted next time.  In CC, it's always back to its default values.  Is it possible to change so that it remembers the last setting I used.  (With the help of Windows BTW)

    Hi greatwill,

Most of the dialogs for the filters are always sticky. If you left the program normally, settings used last will write to the preferences and be there for you when you return to them in another session. Changes to your preferences in the preferences dialog boxes paste, or none of your preferences if written when you quit Photoshop and restart?

It could help others help you, too, if you want to say what version of Windows. I don't use Windows, but many do here, and if there is a problem with get your preferences written to disk when you leave, they might know more on this subject.

    Hello

I m not exactly on this fault, but it seems there must be something wrong with the graphics driver and display settings.
That's why I recommend you first remove the old driver and after restarting again try to install the graphics driver from the Toshiba driver page.

I think you are using the Win98. Am I wrong?
Then visit Toshiba, download the Trident display driver and install it!

Good luck and have a nice day ;)
