Hi @Alexkv1984

Thank you for your request, I will do my best to be of assistance.

Here is a link to HP Pavilion dv6 Entertainment PC Maintenance and Service of Guide. Please note Chapter 4 on page 11 for a list of replacement memory modules and how to replace them.   You will notice your takes system PC2-6400, 800 MHz, DDR2.  Two 4 GB cards would give you your maximum memory of 8 GB.

Here is a link to,HP Parts Store order web ordering tool for your convenience. You can most likely purchase the ram to a computer supply store if you prefer.

I hope this helps.

  • adding css support contained in the head of my models?

I have a list a css files in support of content and wish to add the support contained in the head of my models.

Is it possible to add a support contained in the head of my models because when I use the editor on line and save the file he returned to just below the head tag and is placed in the upper part of the body that is not good for css files.

There is a problem with the content owners how to return them to use for things like MORE you need really DO NOT change code using the editor to the admin, it of a WYSIYWG and not really designed to do code and is only compatible XHTML.

You can use liquid includes which works better for this sort of thing and you really need to change the code through the tab 'develop' If you have an account partner or use a code editor and FTP files.

  • HP dv6-1354us: failed to upgrade memory RAM DV6-1354us

    Hello

I just bought a 8 GB Patriot Signature DDR3 PC3 - 10600 (1333 MHz) Double Data Rate single module Non-ECC Unbuffered SODIMM 1.5V power required for my laptop that, according to the specifications of the product, taken Max memory supported is 8 GB. (but don't know if the 8 we can be in a slot or if it takes 2 x 4 GB)

When I plugged the only module Ram laptop (after all procedures safe to change modules) and turn on the machine, remains but no signal video, it did not show the HP logo, I waited several minutes to see if the system needed time to update new material but without good result. So I want to ask what could be the problem? or If someone could tell me on the type memory to buy and upgrade. I tried this module of Ram of Patriot in the other laptop and it actually works, so there is no problem with that. y at - it a way to make this module works by maybe update the Bios of the computer laptop (im) using the F.36 version or any other solution?

Any help will be appreciated, thanks for your time.

either by the way, I checked with manufacturers of CRUCIAL and they suggested different modules DDR3 PC3 - 12800 1600 Mhz Ram upgrade, so I thought that adaptation PC3 - 10600 1333 MHz module should have worked, im confused.

    You are the very welcome.

I think that this could be the problem, or the 4 GB memory you just tried is of a different voltage (1.35v), either a too high density.

Your laptop needs memory low density (low density normally distinguished by the chips of black small 8 memory on each side of the circuit board) and 1.5 V memory needs.  The 1.35v (DDR3L) memory may not work on older chipsets.

Higher density memory has usually 4 small black chips on each side of the circuit board.

  • Tecra A4-109: is - this 1 GB PC2-4300 DDR2 memory compatible with this model?

    I've had this laptop model Tecra A4 109 for a year and a half. I need to upgrade its 512 MB of memory by default. http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/JSP/productPage.do?service=EU&action=SHOW_ATTRIBUTES&t ab = 1 & PRODUCT_ID = 102108 & Type = 2319 & family = 2328 & series = 100900 & model = 102108 & x = 98 & y = 14 #1
from this site, I checked the memory compatible types.

As this link says "1024 MB (1 GB) memory PC2700 DDR SODIMM (333 MHz), 1 GB PC2 - 4300 DDR2 Memory, 1 GB memory DDR2 PC2-4300" are the compatible memory. (But in the manual of the laptop that is present in the C:\TOOLSCD\manuals, the compatible option only is 1024 MB (1 GB) PC2700 DDR SODIMM (333 MHz) memory).

I checked a few memories of laptop DDR2 by traders the but they actually wouldn't fit in the memory locations with ease. If I force it to adapt, it can insert into the slot. But there is a chance to have a broken and useless memory. Memory DDR work with 5 volt DDR2 memory work with 2.5 to 4 Volts AFAIK. Of DDR and DDR2 memory slots are also a bit different from each other. Now I'm confused.

Official web pages of Toshiba says and what I found in the laptop manual are contradictory to each other. Who is telling the truth?

I'd appreciate the help. Thank you...

    Hello kamel

I can understand that you are confused, but it is not so complicated. I checked a few pages and here is the result:

Tecra A4 comes in two different models.
    1 Tecra A4 - PTA40E-xxx (your model). Compatible memory module is 1024Mo PC2700 (PA3313U-2M1G)
    2 Tecra A4 - (PTA42E-xxx). Compatible memory module is DDR2 400/533 1 GB (PA3411U-1M1G)

As you can see that the two hardware platforms are completely different. Copy the PA3313U-2M1G module. It is compatible with your Tecra.

    Good bye

  • What models of Macbook support speed Gigabit Internet BOTH wired (fine thunderbolt adapter) AND wifi (specs are unclear and inconsistent)?

I have just upgraded to 1 GB fiber Internet - YAY - only to learn that my laptop current cannot go more than 100 MB - BOO. He is not old and not cheap, so, Goodbye Windows, Mac Hello! (A move on to the next purchase even when I use Macs for work).

In comparing the Macbook models, I can't figure out those who support the TWO Gigabit speed when wired (adapter thunderbolt is fine if caught gigabit supported by the machine) AND Gigabit WiFi. I saw a spec that says 801n gigabit and 801ac was not, which I thought was the opposite of reality, so I do not trust the sheets, and I really not trust sellers to know this information.

    Models to consider:

-Only current/new models, so no worries for older

-The Macbook Air and models so no worries for the Macbook Pro,

    Help!

    Thank you

All of the current models. However the computers laptop wil need an adapter to provide an Ethernet connection. Apple USB it is not adequate, it isn't Gigabit Ethernet.

  • EA6100 AC1200 router doesn't support speeds above download NAS 3 MB for wireless

am RMA ing product. I bought a 2nd NAS because I had problems so video streaming only to find out it was never my SIN it was this router. The faster download / download speed ever I'm via wireless is 1mbs to and the NAS if I connect it to any other website, I could get 20 MB and 4 MB download download.

Cable and so with two different NASs and wireless connection to the router to router here is my speed
    Mobile wired for NAS
Mycloud WD - download 3 to 6 MB
Mycloud WD - 13 download mbs
Seagate Personal cloud - Download 4 mbs
Seagate Personal cloud - Download 13 mbs

    Laptop Wireless for NAS
Mycloud WD - Never more than 1 MB Upload
Mycloud WD - Download 1.5 mbs
Seagate Personal cloud - Download 1 mbs
Cloud of personnel Seagate - download 1.5-2.5 MB

It took a lot of time and a lot of troubleshooting in order to realize what was going on. I tried several different NAS / laptop / combinations wired / wireless and the end conclusion is that this thing is terrible to support NAS wireless. I called support we flashed the new firmware and now I am ing RMA unit, but if the same problem persists then this device is really terrible.

When I get my RMA if the same problem persists then I don't know what I'll do.  When you use ethernet for internet ports, the speeds are really fast but not when using them for the NAS.  I think as his associates to the router making a sort of limitation based on the ports... I just don't understand.  Makes no sense to me, but this is how it works.  If anyone has any ideas let me know.

    ~ J

To help make this more clear question, I did several tests and the same problem persisted with my RMA router.  If you connect a peripheral usb external storage to the router the same speed limits also apply.

LAN client to the router to the internet WAN > speeds as avertised

Customer to customer LAN LAN router > speeds very slow not as advertised in several different hosts (different nas, different laptops, different ways to connect to get the data)

I bought a NEW SIN just because I thought "wow my personal cloud of WD doesn't work simply and too late to return it." it turns out that the NAS has worked very well this is the router that is the source of problems.

In addition, I had another user of the forum contact me with this remark that's a really bad sign for the Linksys.  When users who are trying to help you solve your problem will tell you that the only way is a legal action, then what am I supposed to believe?  I have users contacting me saying ' hey try xyz approach and see if it works. "but no instead I get messages like the one below saying me that Linksys will answer only to lawsuits rather than helping users to find solutions to the problems.

  • I want to install Windows 7 on a Dell Latitude D820 laptop. What is the status of having drivers required, as Dell does not offer any on their support site for Windows 7 on this model?

Whenever I install Windows XP on it, I have to go to the Dell support site and get the chipset drivers Intel, network, audio and video for all the work.  XP is the original version, and then I have to install the SP2, SP3 followed.

Should I do the same thing during the installation of Windows 7?  Get the drivers for the various components to work?  Or Windows 7 will make installation much simpler?

    Hello GJ_IJBC,

Your best option will be to run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor.  This will give you a screen that will tell you which drivers will be required as appropriate with what program incompatibilities there might be.

  • Increased support of Type of object in Data Modeler

    Hello

It is a matter primarily for the development team to shape data as well as the Group of tools. First of all, the production of Data Modeler 3.0 version is very nice and improvements in data types on which was in EA1 are large. Thanks for adding to the support of the domain to the definition, attributes and parameters for methods which makes life much simpler and opens the door to a range more wide object type modelling and ease of implementations because consistency can now be maintained much easier through areas. Support for the smoothing of lines is also impressive. It is the best app that I've seen, even better than what we had in the Design Editor in the Oracle Designer, Bravo still once the team which built the diagrammer interfaces.

My question is, going forward will be Data Modeler has continued to be improved to fully support the Oracle objects and object relational (OR) model? I ask this question because as users of Oracle RDBMS, we do not have a tool that allows to fully model and implement the functionality provided by the server group in the field of object-relational features. Oracle Designer had a capacity of modeling of GOLD, but the end of the product life has stopped any further development. One of the common excuses is there is no request for the market for object - relational modeling. I would say, that the absence of the market demand for object - relational applications is because we have never had a tool that fully supports the relational Oracle - model object. Nor do we have a development tool that allows us to implement a fully developed relational Oracle - model object. The Tools group stopped the development of Oracle Forms support for nested objects and collections. The LOV REF columns feature is quite impressive, but we are unable to get nested collections, still less a nested collection of REFs.

So as a member of the end user community, we are stuck in this Catch 22. The server group continues to support and improve the object - model relationship, but the tools and modelling groups have not kept with the tools to model or to implement the features and the features supported by the database. As a result, we have a partially constructed set of tools that allows you to scratch the surface of the object - model relationship, but is not able to take full advantage of the powerful features of legacy, legacy and extensive collections, the ability to inherit and extend methods, etc...

The object - relational model introduced with Oracle8, 10g solved the problem of evolution of type which has made the implementation of the production of realistic objects. My question is; Data Modeler is finally going to fully support the relational Oracle - model object? If until the end user community, we finally get a tool that totally supported the model of GOLD, finally, we will be able to model, generate and deploy applications that will in turn create this market demand which is lacking for the relational model object.

    Thanks in advance,
    ACE

    Hi Ace,

    Thanks for the good words.

will be the Data Modeler has continued to be improved to fully support the Oracle objects and object relational (OR) model?

Short time - Yes. What do you want Besides lack of support now nested columns (and related to these constraints, including the PK constraint) and the generation of the 'Alter Instructions?

  • Upgrading RAM for Dv6-3206AX? Maximum supported RAM

    Hi all

I am in need to upgrade my memory of's laptop (DV6-3206AX). At the present time it is 4 GB and I thought to upgrade to 16 GB.

The reason for this upgrade is, I work as a developer and use many technologies and software requiring a huge memory tell SharePoint, SQL Server, DMS systems. I tend to play with these technologies on my laptop and of course to learn and build solutions. Now 2013 SharePoint requires more memory, I would need to increase the memory of my laptop.

My concern, I am not sure weather my laptop wouldn't support 16 GB or not? If so, then this high memoery would result in additional heating.

    Configuration of the laptop

    • AMD Phenom II N970 (4 c, 2.20 GHz/4 x 512 KB / 3.6GTs)
    • 4 GB RAM DDR3
    • 500 GB SATA HARD DRIVE

    • AMD Radeon HD 6550 (discreet, dedicated 1 GB)
    • 10/100/1000 LAN, 802.11 b/g/n WLAN
    • Dolby Digital Audio Advance with speakers Altec Lansing, Webcam, media card reader
    • 1 x HDMI, 1 x VGA, 3 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB/eSATA, 1 x RJ-45
    • AC adapter, battery, power cord
