Merge two images in CS4

Hi, after taking two pictures of a landscape, a presentation for the foreground and another for heaven. How can I open each in a separate layer so I can mix the two together. Gives me a correctly exposed foreground image and the sky. I don't want to just mix two HDR images. I use CS4.

I should mention that I use Aperture to manage my images and work with CS4 by migrating image from opening... Thanks a lot for all the help... Gerry

You must copy the background layer and make a selection of the other sky or foreground in the first image and add a layer mask to the copied layer.  Then you bring in the new Sky layer and place it under the layer with the layer mask.  CTRL (Cmd) [down a layer of the stack in the Panel layers and Ctrl (Cmd)] move a layer to the top of the stack.

The hard bit is the selection.  Not too bad if Nice own contours like rolling hills or a flat horizon through a landscape marin, but much more difficult if you have deciduous trees or foliage on the horizon.  It may be better if you download the original image, so we can advise you on how best to make the selection

    The Photomerge function was moved to 'Expert' display mode to the mode "guided edit.

    What has not changed is that you can always select your files in the organizer and use the Edit menu > Photomerge.

  • Merge two images into a single MovieClip?

    Hello

    I have two images,

    var BigImage:BigPhoto = new BigPhoto() / / a PNG of 640 x 960 pixels

    addChild (BigImage)

    var thumb: LittlePhoto = new LittlePhoto() / / a PNG of 140 x 220 Pixels

    addChild (Thumb)

    I need create and save another image which is Big as a background and the small inside this position x = 40, y = 200

    Sorry for my English, but I need to "embed" the small photo inside the large Photo, I whish culd be understood

    Anyone knows how is the AS3 CS5.5 code for this?

    Thank you

    If you add the big picture for something, then add the image to the same after setting its x and y, you can then draw the container into something else. I assume you want that going back to the photo gallery, as shown here:

    http://forums.Adobe.com/message/3870150#3870150

    So this script has changed to what you ask would now read as follows:

    var BigImage:BigPhoto = new BigPhoto();

    var thumb: LittlePhoto = new LittlePhoto();

    Thumb.x = 40;

    Thumb.y = 200;

    var holdermc:MovieClip = new MovieClip();

    holdermc.addChild(BigImage);

    holdermc.addChild(Thumb);

     var cameraRoll:CameraRoll = new CameraRoll();   var bitmapData:BitmapData = new BitmapData(holdermc.width, holdermc.height);  bitmapData.draw(holdermc);  cameraRoll.addBitmapData(bitmapData);

  • How to merge two images with a mask?

    Here are the directions that I used and does not work.  I opened 2 images in Fireworks cs3.  I used the Oval Marquee tool and an area I want to merge into the second image selected.  I went to edit/copy.  Opened the second picture I want this domain to merge. Edition and paste as mask.  I get a small oval faded picture and the rest of my image disappeared.

    Your help is greatly appreciated!

    I guess, but I think that what you want is an oval section of an image to another image? If so, then the bottom image should not be hidden and does not even need to be considered. Think that as background.

    Try this instead:

    1. Turn off the visibility of the lower background image, so it does not distract you.
    2. Make an ellipse white vector with the proportions that you want and position on the area of the image that you want a oval. You can adjust the opacity of the vector ellipse to help with positioning, but make sure you set the opacity to 100%.
    3. Selects the image and the ellipse, and then click Modify > mask > Group as mask.
    4. Turn on the visibility of your background image and position your masked image.  (I think that gives you what you want).

    Your vector mask must be white in this case. A white area in a mask will be opaque hidden object. A black or transparent area in a mask will make the hidden sector transparent. A gray or semitransparent box in a mask will be proportionally semi-transparent hidden object.

    This is what you want?

  • Merge two images

    I downloaded an image of a face, and I want to remove the background with just the head. I then stick the head in a different image. I can't select the background and the elimination of it. Can anyone help with this? Also if the background is erased as a layer - will there still be a background, so to speak, interfering with the image that I copy in? I have photoshop.

    Thank you

    Does the remake of Finding Nemo with a terrifying real-life shark in the lead role?

    You really need a better image of the Gruppenführer Trump quality, but you can dress up things a lot. Start by using the quick selection tool to select the head of Mr. Trump and then refine the selection with the edge tool I refine my selection. To fit his head in the aquarium to use the transform tool to reduce its size. Place an empty layer above all and with the blue color of the water color picker sample. Paint on face of Trump with this blue mode soft light can make final adjustments with curves to get the mix you want.

    Hope that helps

  • How to merge 2 images

    Hi, I'm very new to photoshop.  Can someone tell me very simply how to merge two images together.  I'm an artist and I have a picture that is too large for my A4 scanner.  I scanned in two parts, but how I put together them.  I had a search for tutorials that talk to me only to create a panorama.  Thank you

    Assume that Fig 1 is your art.

    1 sweep half as superior of art; then further analyze the half of art (Fig 2 & 3)

    2. create a new file large enough to hold the art of full size. It's ok to make it a little bigger

    3. Select > copy and paste the top and bottom images into your new file. They overlap and not line up. (Arrow fig. 4, note)

    4 use the move tool, or choose the move with the arrows on the keyboard tool to coax the two segments in alignment (Fig 5)

    5. If necessary harvest and female t flatten layers

  • merge 2 images of the white pixels transparant

    Hi forum,
    Have been playing with this problem for some time and I could really need help. Completely new to the Director, and I go out where the water is deep.

    I have 2 images in the same size, a castmember normally imported and created dynamically from a webcam. The webcam image has a white background, and I need this merger on top - but with white transperant background. I need the same effect as if placing the two images on stage, at the top of the ink set to tranparant. Can I merge two images with copypixels in a third member, without really knowing what I'm doing, but how to extract the white pixels of the image created dynamically before adding twogether?

    Try something like:
    image3 is your final image (destination)
    Image2 is instant webcam
    --
    OK = image3.copyPixels (image2, image3.rect, image2.rect, [#ink: 36])

  • The merger between the two images with the control points? Novice request

    Hi all

    I've seen a tutorial that describes exactly what I want to achieve, but can't for the life of me remember of it called or how to do it.

    Basically, I have two images of the map I want to put in a short film. During the transition between the images, instead of simply melted into a single image I want that they "sink" in the following image.

    The tutorial I've seen used Premiere Pro and "checkpoints" that match between the two images showing where things moved too.

    I am barking the wrong tree? I will reply cheerfully questions in an attempt to better describe this. I apologize for the vagueness of the topic.

  • Merge two of the same photo with applied different exposures

    I have a picture that I copied a couple of times and imported to LR. I've adjusted to the exposure of the sky in a single copy and then in the foreground in another. How to merge two photos to make the sky a as well as the first plan of the other?

    Combination of two images requires another program like Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, or some other software pixel editing program. If you have two different exposures to different contexts and use Lightroom 6 or Lightroom CC you have an option to use Photomerge and choose merge to HDR. But the part that there is no way to combine the two images using only Lightroom.

  • Problems with the placement of two images

    I'm trying to merge two photos with Photoshop CC. In the latest version of PS I select an image and drag it to the other image & it would appear as a new layer.

    In online tutorials, it shows a similar approach except that they say convert the background into a layer layer in the two images. I did it but nothing happens. I left the as they are, and nothing happens. The files are NAVE about 35 MB.

    Is there a switch or a preference that I missed?

  • By selecting the difference between two images

    Hello

    I have two photos exactly the same thing that I took using a tripod, studio lighting and general conditions. However, in the second photo, I inserted a subject - in this case a sculpture complex. Photoshop can merge these two images together AND choose so the difference between the two images - in this case the sculpture complex?

    Basically, I need to select the sculpture and do not want to spend time manually selecting due to its complexity. I need to separate the background and the sculpture for editing on their own layers.

  • Does anyone know how to merge two workseets number for printing?

    How can I combine two spreadsheets in numbers for printing?

    Hi jj,

    I assume that you mean that you have a single document, which contains two worksheets, and that each sheet contains one table (only?).

    What do you mean by "merge two (booklets)?

    You mean you wan to place Tables of two leaves on a single sheet (this sheet would contain then both tables).

    Or do you mean you want to place all data on the two tables into a single table on one sheet?

    Or do you mean something different to both of these descriptions?

    Kind regards
