  Simply connect your external drive to your computer will redirect the import of files from the CD.  You don't always have enough space on your internal drive - at least that's what seems to be the case of the incomplete information provided.

  In the meantime, download and run JDiskReport, that will show you graphically what files take up more space and seem to so indicate what files you must move it to your external drive.  If you want to move an application, you will need to uninstall and then reinstall it specifying your external drive as the installation location.  You can not simply move the files.

  The message 'space' insufficient often means that there is a file corrupted on the internal memory. One thing that often arrange is to run Windows error checking, assuming that you have a friend with a PC.

  On the unit back Settings/System Settings/USB Mode and make SMC (which is the mode that the Mac will use anyway).

  To connect to a Windows computer. Find the item listed as a hard drive. Right-click, properties/tools (a tab) / error checking. Who can fix a bad file.

  We would like to get more information about you to help solve your problem. You better, please answer the following questions.

  • When was the last time it worked?
  • Remember to make changes to the computer recently?

  First of all, I would say that you unplug any external drive connected to the computer except the keyboard and mouse.

  This error message can occur if there is some system files corrupted on your computer. Suggest to run a SFC scan, which would be a search for system files corrupted on the computer and replace them.

  Scan SFC enforcement procedure:

  1. click on the Start button

  2. on the Start Menu, click all programs followed by accessories

  3. in the menu accessories, right-click on command line option

  4. in the drop-down menu that appears, click the "Run as Administrator" option

  5 If you have the enabled User Account Control (UAC) you will be asked to consent to the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.

  I just got an update to version 10.1.4.  My previous version was 10.1.23.  After the upgrade, I started getting an error message of insufficient data for image.  This is the first time this error pops up so it must be linked to the new version.   I uninstalled this version and installed version 9, the problem disappeared.  Did anyone else encounter this problem or there at - it a fix for this problem?

• iPhone 6 Plus running on IOs 9.2.1 shows reduced storage? PLEASE HELP, END OF WIT HERE!

  So my iPhone 5-6 months 6 more 16 gb updated to ios 9.2.1 has recently shown random filling of storage space. No new applications, photos or music of any kind is added and still storage keeps decreasing randomly over time. When I connect to iTunes, the storage the bottom bar shows a huge purple bar that takes a lot of space, marked 'DOCUMENTS AND DATA'. Now, is this a deal? Because I don't remember see also high amount of space occupied by this purple thing before yesterday. The devil what's up?

  I've tried everything. I even backed up and restored the phone with iTunes. Back to normal and my storage space, everything has been shown 4.4 GB free. For a few hours, it kept decreasing at random and this morning there is 550 MB free space. This happened yesterday before the restoration too and he continued until the storage

• The system image does not work on win7 Home Premium HP Pavilion Elite HPE 250f

  The system image (and Windows Backup with and without Image system options) just do not start with the same error message indicating insufficient space for "Volume Shadow copy".

  HD has about 100 MB for the operating system and other files more about 11 GB for HP Factory Image.  Trying to backup to an external drive, Iomega USB with 650 GB of capacity.  External hard drive now empty but has been used before.

  HP support has no answer!

  Just thought I'd give you the answer to this old problem.

  Windows 7 (for earlier versions) work as described in the help of the screen except that the VSS mode

  must be turned on.  This allows Windows to actuall save parts of the operating system

  Although these parts are involved in the actual backup.

  Shame on the HP technical support for not knowing this.

  In addition, the original tech support suggestion was to call Microsoft.

  With a new HP PC you have no direct support from Microsoft (free).

  It took me a while to work with Paragon Backup (wonderful product) to realize that VSS
