Messages in the Sierra have not upgraded

I upgraded to Sierra and my messages app have not improved. It's always the old version with all the names of the contact of my conversations replaced with their phone numbers. If I try and type a name to add a contact on a new message, the application crashes.

When I look at the modification date of the application in the application folder says 'may 7, 2012', so that all my other wealthy apps goes back to the year underway (2016). I tried to reinstall Sierra again without change.

Please let me know if anyone knows how to solve this problem.

Thank you!

Save a backup copy of your Messages application on a USB key, and then delete the Messages from your Applications folder on your Mac. He may request a username/password admin name. Don't forget to empty the trash after that. Then, try to reinstall the Sierra again and see if that does not copy the new Messages on your Mac application. If something goes wrong, you always have your initial request of Messages and can be replaced from the flash drive.
