  Just to let you know, the printer will only print envelopes of Lac #1.  Here is the link to the User Guide that will show you what all is supported and what bins what to do. For envelope printing, go to page #165-167 media support and sizes of envelope.

  Having too many CD/DVD programs can cause strange problems, especially if they're loading of parts of
  themselves at the start because they will be competing for resources. This does not mean that this issue has been
  caused by those, however, it's a possibility depending on which and how many you have installed.

  You have disk problems as the CD/DVD is actually 4 discs in 1 case (CD & DVD burning and)
  Playback of CD and DVD). So it is not unusual for parts from 1 or 2 to not work so that others do
  correctly.

  Burning at low speed, or by using the master could help. A CD/DVD cleaner might help.

  Brand of the CD or DVD drive can also be the problem. Low quality (cheap brands) are always problematic.

  CD/DVDs have a tolerance + - and your can read/write on the edge outside these discs
  tolerances. They may be delivered, but it is generally more economical to replace the disk.

  I went back to an old project Adobe Illustrator I have not opened for years but suddenly need to recovery. To my horror, I discovered that I can not open ONE of these old files HAVE. In the finder, each of these files is shown not as an .ai file, but as a "simple text document. When opening, it does is display a text code page, not my graphics HAVE. I'm currently running AI CS5 on Mac OSX 10.8.5. I would greatly appreciate all useful advice - what someone might have on this subject. Y at - it HAVE a plug-in available for update old files?   I think I found the fix, courtesy of the Mac guru at the University where I teach. If I just add the suffix .ai on behalf of all of my files, they instantly change to read Adobe Illustrator files! Couldn't be simpler, although it raises a question. These files will open very well without needing to be done with the file at the end of each title designations. Now, suddenly, they need ".ai" after them to open properly. Well. At least, I have a solution to this problem.  Thanks for all the good advice!

  I couldn't install Adobe Creative Cloud apps on the main account... they kept crashing on launch.

  With the help of Adobe Support (take control remotely from my Mac), after having tried and tried to install it on my main user account, that they finally successfully the installed in a new account user without problem. However, it's a workaround and not the best solution.

  It seems that the account settings user principal is in contradiction with the launch of the product.   As advised, I contacted Apple Supprt and spent several hours and has done the following with their help:

  The disk verified permissions

  The repaired disk permissions

  Disc checked

  ADOBE PRODUCTS

  Confirmed that Acrobat Pro XI worked in the Admin user account

  Confirmed that Dreamweaver CC worked to the Admin user account

  Confirmed that InDesign CC worked to the Admin user account

  Confirmed that the bridge CC worked to the Admin user account

  Confirmed that Photoshop CC worked to the Admin user account

  Confirmed that Illustrator CC doesn't have a user Admin account, but has worked in the new user account.

  Uninstalled Illustrator CC and reinstalled through Creative Cloud CC

  Removed all 17 Illustrator preferences in both libraries

  As before Illustrator CC doesn't have a user Admin account, but has worked in the new user account.

  APPLE SUPPORT SUGGESTION

  -Expand the section sharing & permissions.

  -Click on the padlock icon in the lower corner on the right.

  -Expand the section sharing & permissions.

  -Enter your administrator user name and password when you are prompted, and then click OK.

  -Click on icon + and add the Admin and showing all users.

  -Set the permission for all users and admin read/write

  -Click on the gear icon and select apply point-to-point closed

  Follow the same steps for the sub folder too

  Choose go > go to folder. Enter ~/library/Application support and give all the permissions file to Adobe.

  Launch Illustrator and check.
