• Updates from HP agent... always began in the early and slows down computer

  HP Pavilion a1222n, Win XP Home

  When we move first on the computer, it is slowed down by "updates HP agent running' controlled by the Task Manager.

  I would like to disable the execution the present automatic and run it when I want to run the updates from HP.  I read in another post to go to start > all programs > setting > select never allowing you to a chosen when run the HP update agent.  I can't seem to find it on this machine, the message I read was for another model.

  Hi Ron,

  Try the following.

  Hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run box, type msconfig and press to enter.  In the System Configuration window, select the Startup tab and Remove the check mark next to the HP update agent.  Click apply and then click Ok to save the changes and restart the PC for this change to take effect.

• Latest Vista updates have picked up my use of the internet and slowed down my system

  Last week, I had several automatic updates. In the meantime, updates have been loading on my computer all landed and froze. After the updates, I'll have a terrible time in AOL. The program has slowed down and often gives me an error message that the system is not responding. I contacted AOL who gave me many suggestions that I follow, but I still have problems (more my overall system is slow now). Says to contact Microsoft. It may be a problem with acceleration. I don't have these problems until the updates installed this week.

  Now my system restore no longer works. I can't go back to before the updates. What can I do?

  Possible cause would be that updates might conflict with other programs on the computer. Also could have damaged some system files on the computer.

  I suggest to try in safe mode and check the performance of the pc first.

  To start the computer in safe mode, do in the link below

  If the steps above fail. Try to do a scan sfc

  Type the following command and press ENTER:

  sfc/scannow

• When I close thunderbird is still running in the background and always using data?

  When you close Thunderbird, it cannot check or retrieve new messages.
  Not sure what you mean with "always running in the background.
  When you close Thunderbird is closed. Period.

  When I do something like that I previously print the static side, then reload it into the printer and print the merged.

  This is the way of simply to do.

  1 make the country select list (P49_COUNTRY) a select list with submit
  2. create a conditional branch that dates back to the 49 Page
  3 do the conditional branch of type PL/SQL Expression. In the expression 1 enter

  :REQUEST = 'P49_COUNTRY';
  

  4. in the value of these items , enter P49_CITY and let these values in white.

  So when the country is changed the page will be submitted, take over the management of the status of the page and in the process put the city at null.

• Site to Site VPN, endpoint of the traffic on the loopback and ping down alternative packages

  This is my first discussion. Today, I came across a new senario where in I was able to establish the tunnel vpn site-to-site between two sites. To my amazement, I am able to successfully ping to the router (Site A) to the server without drops keeping source as fa 0/1 (172.25.170.1) However, LAN segment (host) alternate packages are declining while reaching the server. Please find the picture below:

  We are required to use private segment WAN ip addresses so we have no choice other than to keep the public ip address on the loopback. To create the site to site, I asked the card encryption on the fa outside interface 0/0 with ip 1.1.1.1. Then I used the command cypto card loopback 1 mount the tunnel and work address local VPN. I then set a route on the Site1 for fa of government local traffic 0/0 to insert the interesting traffice enter the map encryption.

  Now everything works well to router server however I get replacement ping drops (50% success). I am not able to solve this problem. The result above is both real and gns.

  Think it's a bug in IOS, disable IP CEF, hen now this works, but it is only a workaround to make it work for real IOS update.

• How do you do the clock and always visible date in windows 8?

  On operating systems earlier, the date and the clock would be in the lower right.  The new windows 8 only, not to the date and the clock displayed for a bit.  I have to have the date and clock show at all times when I'm on the computer.  Weather in websites or otherwise.  I searched some topics and doesn't seem to be a solution.

  I must have, if this isn't an option, then someone at Microsoft windows needs to understand this.

  No one can tell you anything without the proper system or other technical details info. Start by resetting the workspace and check your toolbar on the right palettes.

  I have temporarily protected password and have since removed the password to none. I always get the log on screen, while it does not require a password, I would like to remove all together and just boot the desktop, with no sign of user in.

  Click Start and in the search for box netplwiz type press enter.

  Uncheck users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.

  Click apply.

  When the automatically log on dialog box appears, enter the user name desired for automatically to connect to Windows 7 with. Then enter your password. If your password is blank then leave these fields empty.

  Click on OK.
