Update of blackBerry Smartphones following curve

I'm curious to know when to expect the next update of curve?  Since the last update, my alarm clock does not illuminate the night at my bedside when as it allows.  Is however works properly when connected to my PC via the USB cable.  I was expecting to see the Take Care this issue upgrade order.

huh?

Some users might worry that they will void their warranty of device by loading an OS from another carrier. There is really nothing to fear.

I had planned an update last night to demand for 2300 hour British. When I woke up, I found my phone was off and the charger was out of my phone. When you turn on again my phone, he immediately started backup software, which was going well until he started the social RSS update. Due to the fact he did not pay all night, it was not connected to a sense of network, it appears 'Social Feeds 0% '. Unfortunately, I can't leave this screen and so it tried to save social stream without connection for the last 6 hours.

There are two methods for recovering for you to try:

    One:

    • Open Blackberry Desktop Software & connect your device with the PC using the USB cable, without inserting the battery.
    • You have three Retry option, update or cancel, and then click Update.
    • Once it is at the stage of the "initialization of pocket" update, then insert the batteries.
    • If this does not work, and you get stuck on the safeguarding of social data feeds, go to the second method below.

I only am not tech savvy enough to understand why it would take so long?

Hello and welcome to the community!

If there is a latent policy, there is only one way to remove it... and while I can't tell exactly what you hear of "hard reboot", this probably isn't the appropriate method. To check, however, see this:

    • KB30076 How to check for an it on a BlackBerry smartphone policy

And, even if it seems to result in a negative, there is perhaps a COMPUTER policy on board... 'stealth' rare, but they exist. To clean, you must do:

    • KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

Of course, remember to take a backup before and after restore... but do not make big. One of the saved databases contains policy COMPUTER and, if you restore that, you'll be right where you started. On the contrary, only backup/restore these specific databases that need you, specifically avoiding those that relate to politics. You can find a complete set of instructions in the thread linked to my auto-sig on this post.

  • Director of office of blackBerry Smartphones and Curve 8330

I just installed Desktop Manager 5.0 for my curve. The installation went well, and after it backs up, the curve works correctly. I wonder, however, if the Desktop Manager saved e-mails, MMS and SMS messages in a file on my desktop that could be retrieved and read later if necessary. I heard this answered both ways so far: Yes it did, and no, it's not. No one knows what is the real answer?

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Well, two answers could be correct according to what you were doing. If you performed the backup, and then he did. If you have not run the backup, then it does not. If you performed the backup, then a file with an extension of the RPI could be saved to your PC - search your entire hard drive for *.ipd and see what you find. EmmanuelSmith911 wrote:
I'm starting to think that this could be the it policy which could cause this problem. How can I remove the it policy?

It is possible. But if you stay on BES, you cannot remove the it policy... you have to work with your BES admins to solve the problem.

If you are not on BES, you must first check if you have a latent policy on board:

    • Article ID: KB30076 How to check for an it on a BlackBerry smartphone policy

If you have one, then this is the only method to remove:

    • Article ID: KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

Beware you warnings... it's completely destructive to everything you have on your device now, then you must know how to recover from that after the withdrawal of the policy. If you choose to use the backup/restore as your method of recovery, so make sure you do selective and not wholesale... If you restore databases who say company policy or something similar, then you just put it on your device policy, and be right back where you started.

    Hello

My BB used to plant recently and does not start until I have remove and replace the battery, yesterday I was on a call when it crashed I have replaced the battery, but he would not return to the top!

I read the previous posts however I could not find a solution, I know that this is not a screen problem because when I blace battery I get "Blackberry" and the loading bar, it loads for 2 ~ 3 seconds then the white screen, seen a lot of posts to check the application loader but I don't have it on my PC.

My PC cannot connect to the device, I removed the battery and plugged to upgrade, but my BB is on the latest version.

I have not apploader on my PC if this is helpful to all.

If you have installed, your PC, the desktop software and/or a bundle of BONES for your BB, then you apploader. Reference:

But, to start your diagnostic efforts, I recommend that you try to start safe mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a smartphone BlackBerry in Mode safe

It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, see what happens.

If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

If there is no Safe Mode, I suggest that you test to see if your battery is causal. Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must be directly connected to a charger checked (not PC USB, not a docking station):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charged battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. Carefully note please that 'new' and 'know' are not necessarily the same things. Although rare, a 'new' battery could certainly be defective. On the contrary, the easiest (and cheapest, btw) method to perform this test is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... trade in batteries and see what happens.

Otherwise, then you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '. To prepare, you should be sure that you have a full backup of your PC... Please see the Backup link in my sig auto on this post for instructions.

  • Update to blackBerry Smartphones

can u suggest how to get that?

also I don't know what NFC and how to use it in my phone

and it doesnot contain also an fm radio... as indicated by the site to version 7.1

and also mas bb do not work on my device

    Hi rhythm_mittal

Here, it is recommended that you upgrade your blackberry operating system 9810

    The latest version is 7.1.0.912

And here is a method to update the information.
Knowing that the application is no longer compatible with OS 7.1 or then Waze BlackBerry Maps give you problems with version 7.0.

Search and download your OS and everything above applies

    By sdgardne

    However, here's what I propose...

The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find complete instructions via the link in my sig auto below. (It's probably debatable given the errors you have... it is likely that your data are already parts of your device, which means that you must now rely on a backup you took before that happened.)

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try the "skeleton OS Reload procedure" in an attempt to circumscribe the precise causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

You may also use these tips:

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

Just after 2 days, it has some issues of appeal & off-grid chess. To validate the question with the handset, I checked the SIM card even with other mobile & it worked perfectly.

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

Check here and locate the authorized Service Center near you, service centers for the BlackBerry Smartphones in India . But FYI as much as I know they will fix all the water damage to devices.

You can contact any local Mobile repair shop and see what they can offer. But more often in a water damage repair BlackBerry smartphone will cost a lot and you can't guarantee that it will work perfectly over a long period, you may experience the same problem right now or a new. So I think better to buy a new device or an opportunity instead of this unit damaged by the water.

  • Mail update of blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

Please help, I just upgraded my mail for the latest software and the mail has stopped working, when I go to the post office set up it says update available for the device, but when I switch the unit to new email set up the version of the application 6.11.0419.0755 the phone then freezes on reboot screen. Why this phenomenon happens and is it possible to use the current mail set up, and no upgrade.

    Thank you

I had to share this so people won't spend 2 weeks lost, wasted support calls telephone beause it solved my problem. All the best!

My initial error message to come after I updated my Blackberry to the new OS6, I went to my email setup, and he says "search for updates"
He finds a new update of my 6.0.0 already installed e-mail configuration application to the new 6.11.0419.0755.
When I click on "Download", it says replace existing version? I click 'yes '.
He said it: 'com.rim.bis.client' contains a different version of the "net_rim_bis_client" module, which is also used by the configuration of messaging application. If you continue, "email setup application" may stop working correctly. move forward?
If I click 'Yes', it blocks my blackberry and it does not restart and I have to do a hard reboot complete, wipe the device and reload all of my backup on blackberry desktop.

The solution: plug your BB to BB Desktop Software.
    List of Applications open.
Make sure that language support is enabled. Leave BB Desktop Software to install language support option, then it will reboot.
It worked for me yesterday after I found the fix above on the web. Before that date I've experienced everything everybody suggested which means that I reinstalled my OS several times.
So if the steps above do not work, reinstall the latest OS and then make sure that supported language is checked. Everything works fine now.
