• kernel panic. Is someone can translate my report in English?

  My Mac Pro 5.1 6 core 3.33 GHz, 48 GB RAM, GTX 680 Mac, OSX 10.10.5 edition recently broke down twice with a report saying that the reason is "unknown". That recent changes that I made to the system are:

  Updates to Adobe CC versions the latest

  Security of OS X and Safari updates

  Graphic driver NVIDIA update OS X security update.

  In both cases of recent accident, I was away from the computer for a few minutes, to return to a computer restarted, with the message "computer restarted because of an unknown error." I'm the only person in my office, it is not the result of a work colleague tinker either.

• Lion - Photoshop CS5 OS crashes when printing

  Hello

  I tried all the steps that I could find (re-installing the drivers, serving preferences, etc.) and talked to Apple Care and repeated these steps.

  so far I have not been able to get a technician to the Support from Adobe on the phone or chat, despite the long holds and no calls or emails back.

  I hope that someone here has found a fix for this.

  I have a new HP Laser Jet MFP M127fn Pro: how to send a fax using speed dial, I entered already numbers in the address book.

  I'm embarrassed to say that I spent several hours trying to get the speed dial to work on a M127fn.  It turns out that there really no speed dial.  That's the conclusion of at least a HP tech that actually used the machine.  Another tech was able to describe a way to fax a phonebook entry, but it is quite too complicated to be called a speed dial.

  [1] press the button settings (key).

  [2] press the right arrow to access the phone book.

  [3] press OK button.

  [4] use the right or left buttons to reach the desired phone book entry.

  [5] press the OK button to reveal the label for the entry, or "empty" if it is not set.

  [6] press the OK button if the element is set to display the fax or dialing options.

  [7] press FAX to initiate a fax to this phone book entry.

  My users find it much easier to have their phone numbers pasted on the machine where they can connect looking them to instead scroll through menus, for the right option.

  It seems that there is some sort of disconnect between hardware, firmware, and technical writers on this machine, because this ancient feature has been neglected, and the user guide is left to sputter on the issue.

  Go to settings, fax facility, advanced Setup, confirm Telec.

  Disable error correction:
  Go to Configuration, service, facsimile, error correction and turn if off.

  Adjust the speed of fax in the Middle:
  Go to settings, fax setup, advanced configuration, speed of fax and select medium.

  Disable the private reception:
  Go to Configuration, advanced setup, private receive fax configuration. Turn the power off.

  Test the fax.

  If the problem persists, try the procedure described in this document to see if it will solve this problem.

  I use a LaserJet M1319f MFP.  I can receive faxes, for example of HP testing service.  However I have several "No fax detected" errors each week.  The duration is always 00:43 seconds.  The firmware is updated, none of these recent changes.  The MFP is autonomous, so I don't think that operating system is a problem.  (I'm running Vista, but I'm not connected).  I changed the slower speed setting.  No idea what could happen?

  Something to consider too is that there may be nothing wrong with your machine, if you have no problems receiving with the fax service or in sending faxes, there is a good chance the issue that you are experiencing is not a problem with your fax.

  Just as I explained you may have problems to send depending on your configuration, this applies also to people sending faxes for you. There is a possibility that their configuration is not optimal and their faxes are partially transmitted.

I can't seem to find the right combination of settings for ringtone for the phone and the FAX that allows callers to leave a voicemail without the FAX modem tones interfere when the caller leaves a voice message. It's as if the fax does not recognize that the answering machine picked up and he continues to make sounds of modem. The tones are saved as well as the message of the caller's voice, which makes the message difficult to understand. • LaserJet Pro 400 MFP M425 / 1 side by side 2 copy missed an inch from the top, on the second page

  When I try unilateral duplex since the automatic top loader, the second page missed about an inch of the original content from the top. (The first page also missed a bit, it is not a huge deal.) I think it happened because the feeding speed is slower that it is supposed to be. Y at - it all the parameters that I can check to fix?

  Alignment of the image doesn't do anything for the problem. However, I was able to fix by:

  -Select Copy settings Chaninging to pick up of exclusively from tray 2 instead of auto

  -Save the settings as a new default value

  I guess, the printer is paused a moment fast if the status bar selection is automatic.

  I wanted to increase the speed and storage capacity to transfer to my Mac mini file, so I bought a box of external hard drives. The one I bought is: http://www.icydock.com/goods.php?id=219

  Built-in the Mac mini hard drives transfer the file to 60 MB/s (writing and reading) and I wanted to get better speed of file transfer, so I bought an SSD that is going to be inside with an another HARD drive of 3 TB for archiving my files. The housing is connected by USB3.0 (5 Gb/s) for the Mac mini.

  [SSD-> files I opened every day] - speed around 550 MB/s write and 500 MB/sec in reading

  [HDD-> Archives, files that I have does not open very often] - speed around 150 MB/s write and 150 MB/sec in reading

  So I did some benchmarks on my new Setup, and the speed is not really what I expected. Transfer of file max speed I have achieved is about 100 MB/sec in writing on the external SSD plugged into the mac mini. This transfer has been filed since an iMac 21 "2011 with an SSD (with almost the same speed read/write than the box) so it's quite disappointing.

  It is possible that the Mac has a 'file transfer speed limit' is somewhere? Or whatever else that could affect that?
