Hello I have a SanDisk micro SDHC 8 GB card and an adapter. I have an Acer laptop with a SD card slot.
My problem is when I put the micro SDHC into the adapter and then put the card into the slot on the laptop, nothing does appear in 'My computer', so the electronics card has not been read.

Anyone know how to make a SDHC card appear in Windows 7

Thanks a lot for your help

The problem is not Windows 7, this is the card reader in your Acer laptop.  It must be able to read SDHC cards.  This is different from an SD card. Ancient readers SD do not read SDHC cards - they are incompatible with older players.

8 GB micro sd card not seen by my pc but works in other devices

    Hello Closetmonkey,

Thank you for your message.  Regarding your card reader, it works with other SD cards or fail to read?  If all fail, the problem would probably be your player card or a USB problem.  Please let us know so that we can better help you get this issue resolved.

  • I have a micro cell phone memory card, I'm trying to delete files MPG and it says that the disk is write-protected, how can I disable this?

I have a micro card.  I used to put photo files.  Today I'm trying to remove them and I get a message that the card is write protected.  How can I disable this?

I guess you put the micro card in full-size SD card reader? Look on the side of the SD card. There is a small switch that is write protected. Put it to the other position.
  • Can I load several audibooks on a big on micro 8 MB sd card?

Is more better as a 16 gb or big sd card?  Is there something special (outside of class rating) in a micro ssd for the VIDEO card +?

Thanks for all the help, I hope I can begin to provide some information.

More is better, if you need / can use the extra space.  Usually, the answer is Yes.

The only thing to note is, the largest (capacity-wise) map, plus it takes the Clip + to rescan the content (what's happening at least when you add or remove anything from the card).  But I think it's a small price to pay for the additional capacity.

    Hi Jessie,.

ؠ you are able to read the SD card using a card reader?

Install the update from the link below and check if the SD card is detected. There are various links for 32-bit operating system and 64-bit.

  • Pavilion a1020n update to read micro sdhc 4 GB cards and more?

HP Pavilion a1020n, running Windows XP, does not recognize memory cards over 2 GB. I try to use the microphone with adapter, both 4GB and 32GB sandisk card.

Here are the specifications of your desktop HP Pavilion a1020n. According to specifications, your computer has been on sale on or around 06/03/2005. The SDHC specification was completed around June 2006, and the product and the support for the SDHC took time to put on the market. That your computer has been made before the introduction of SDHC, it isn't / won't be able to read / writng to SDHC or SDXC cards. To use these maps on your computer will require the use of an external USB card reader.

  • Problems loading micro SD through player card?

Page 10 of the manual it says that you can drag and drop file sto an insider of a microSD for your player's going to my computer > card uSd Sansa Clip + external.

Today, I received my new Sandisk 16 GB microSD card. However, when I install in the player and connect the player to my computer, no folder "Exernal uSd Card" is available. I tried several times, take the card in and out, by turning the player on & power off, etc., and it still does not work. When I put the card in, rebuilt the database, then the player is grateful to the card.

Anyone have this problem? If so, how to solve it?

Thank you, tapeworm. You have solved my problem.

The background is that themanual is WRONG, at least when the player is in msc (as my player) mode.

For some reason, the Player isn't under devices with removable storage in Windows Explorer (this is Windows XP), but just where are all the other drives.

    They appear as

"SANSA CLIPP (M"-Yes, it is spelled like this, with two P ").

    "Removable disk (" N").<-This is="" the="">

On my computer, each possible different chip on the player built into the chip appears as a removable drive with its own letter, even if no piece is connected, so I did not notice a removable.

  • FORMATTING of my micro sd 32 GB card! (For S.Galaxy Note 2)

    Hello

I really hope that someone can help me. I have a new 32 GB class 10 Samsung card for my Samsung Galaxy 2 note that looks ok in my phone so far. It stores the photos & I formatted in the phone without any problem. Then I transferred to my computer via a card reader, which does not even recognize it! So I put it into a SD card adapter. As soon as I put it in the slot, I got the message saying that the necessary card before I can use it so I clicked on format the disk formatting.

NTFS, fat (default) & exfat was the choice of system. I chose fat (default) but a box appears saying that windows could not complete the format... What?

I tried every file system, but not a single one would allow me to format the card & the same message appears every time, saying that it was unable to complete the format: (o)

As a result, I can't even work with the map on my computer because whenever I do connect, he informs me of the need for formatting... so does not allow me to do. It's so frustrating that I have a large collection of music I need to transfer to him but at the moment, "No can do"! : () o

I thought that even the card may be defective but I googled the problem & it seems others have had the same problem but with different phone models & none of the advice for them is relevant for my model.

Please is - anyone can help or give some advice that is not easy to solve this? It would be MOST appreciated, thank you! t bo1972

Because you are using an adapter, please make sure that the write protection switch is not activating when inserted. Loose switches cause problems like this.

In addition, if the card works fine in the phone, you can try to plug the phone in mass storage Mode. It is like connecting the card using the adapter. The phone will act as the card reader.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Micro SD 2 GB card Media

I tried 2 of these cards and none is recognized by the phone... nor they reformatted successfully... is there a known issue with this card?    Any help would be appreciated!  I have a BB Pearl 8130

Well I went to the phone store today and they solved my problem... I did find this information anywhere else, so in case anyone else has this problem...

The tech guy put me off the phone with the media card to power it... then he back on... it auto formatted the media card and now I can access.

I already tried everything except a step... I would put off the card with the power and then under tension, etc. etc... and the phone would never read or format the card... but the above steps worked!

  • Satellite Pro A100 support Micro SD card?

    Hello.

I have a Satellite Pro A100 (model PSAAPE - OOTOOKEN).
It has a card on the front slot and the manual says "this slot allows you to easily transfer data from devices such as PDA and digital camera that uses flash memory (SD/MS/MS Pro/MMC/memory cards xD).

I want to buy a Micro SD (microSDHC) memory card for use with a tablet PC, I intend to buy.

My question is, if I insert the Micro SD (microSDHC) card in a SD adapter and insert it into the slot of laptops, laptop will accept for read/write operations?

I was wondering if I can get away with having one type of card for laptops and tablet, rather than a microSDHC for the tab and a SD card for the laptop.

    Thank you.

    Hello

The user manual provides information on the supported cards.

    Supported are:
8 MB to 2 GB SD card
MMC (multimedia) card 8 MB to 1 GB
8 MB to 256 MB card MS (memory stick)
MS (MemoryStick) Pro 256 MB to 2 GB
16 MB to 1 GB xD memory card

    > My question is, if I insert the Micro SD (microSDHC) card in a SD adapter and insert it into the slot of laptops, laptop will accept for read/write operations?

Since supports up to 2 GB card SD card reader, you should be able to use the microSDHC in relation to a SD card adapter.

  • format micro sd card acer liquid e2 problems

Hello I have an acer liquid e2 smartphone running on android jelly bean 4.2.1

recently, I bought a micro sd with a capacity of 32Gbs of kingston card

at first glance, everything worked fine, but yesterday, I wanted to transfer files via 4Gbs.

I noticed that it is not possible for FAT based micro sd for this cards but if format you the card micro sd for exFAT, or NTFS you could work around this transferlimit.

so today, I bought a drive from sd cards to solve the problem.

I put my micro sd card in a sd card and then the sd card in the sd card reader/writer.

I connect to my computer and I reformatted my card micro sd, exFAT AND NTFS, but none of them has been recognized by my phone.

so I searched more on this subject, and it seems that android supports NTFS...

so I wonder is my e2 liquid acer problem here? and what do I do?

I hope that I did not purchase this reader/writer for sd cards

    Thanks for the help

    Sorry for the late response

my phone is rooted so I lack it but there were a few problems update even if it was properly the

so I changed my phone to its factory settings and updated to 4.2.2

It was not always able to recognize NTFS in itself, so I searched again and found an app that should be able to do

the app is called "paragon NTFS and HFS +" it wanted to download it but I need to root my phone to use this application

so I rooted my phone after update to 4.2.2 and downloaded this app

now, I'm finally able to use my micro sd NTFS-formatted card

I don't know if the app alone would be enough to do, but it was clear that I needed the app or at least root

4.2.2 update alone is not enough

on the micro SD. I have sandis micro SD 2 GB card and I want that it

to use with my sansa e250 but when I insert the micro SD card

and connect it to my computer sound empty, no micro SD card.

my PC can not read the micro SD it is drive: j and reader: k

but the reader: k says pls insert a floppy in the drive: k, but I fit

the micro SD card.pls help me!

    firmware version is 1.02.15A

    Edit: I update my sansae250 to version1.02.24

and then I try to reuse my micro SD card

and its does not work. What should I do with my sansa?

I want to use the micro SD card because its only 2 GB.

With your v1 player (as indicated by your firmware version) you can only use MSC mode when it connects to your computer in order to access (add or remove) songs on the map. MTP mode will not work. Period.

As c1u31355 suggested, make sure that the card is placed properly into the slot on the side of the player. The lttle Ridge or bump in the middle of the edge on the map will be little difficult to get through the first few times you push the card. Then it wear out a bit on the edge and slide smoothly.

Push it all the way, even slightly beyond the opening until you hear a slight click. He's going (to spring) very slightly here where the top edge of the card is more or less equal or slightly superior to that of the housing of the drive. You will hear a 2nd click. Pressing in there again until it clicks (you should probably use a nail) again, it will release and spring will push out so you can catch it.

Moreover, just for precision, the card will in the drive upside down (with the bump on top).

    -------------------

c1u offers a card reader to see if you have a bad card, or if the problem is with your player. If you put the card in the card reader, and you can transfer (drag & drop) of music files, your card is OK, and you might have a problem with the drive.

Just so you know, you can not 'sync' music to the card if it's how you normally do. This would require the MTP mode which will not work. You have to do drag & drop from the computer to the card. It's the only way. Well, actually you can rip directly to the card, but that's another topic.
