MicroSD corrupts and restarts Centro

Hello

My Verizon Centro has been randomly corrupt my SD card once I sync and when saving a picture to the card. If I remove the corrupt card and then reinsert it into the centro, it restarts then indefinitely until I have remove the card and reformat it with my PC. The card info page shows a series of boxes by the small sd card symbol and ptunes claims that I removed the card. If I explore the map with my PC, all files have boxes for names and won't let me explore the files themselves directory syntax is incorrect. Sometimes pTunes will play the last played song but won't find all the other songs. I was remove my card for synchronizations or just format the card and reinstall the music data in a 'MUSIC' folder on the card, almost every day. Does anyone else have this problem? Help please.

Looks like you may have a faulty card...

I am doing a video project that includes a few still images.  Between clips, photos and titles I transitions (cross dissolve).  After you add the still to the project is almost completed, some (but not all) transitions are damaged: they show a fraction of a second in one of the stills.  It is jarring.  Remove the transitions and the re - add solves nothing.  Removing the stills solves nothing.  Do the two steps don't solve anything.  Changing the type of transition does nothing.  Quit and restart does nothing.  Rebooting does nothing.  I have restored from backups and tried again: same thing.

Never had this problem in the past.  Clues?

Maybe I understood.  Inside the project, there are two files: still Images and thumbnails.  I replaced them with copies of an earlier version, the corrupt of the project, and - so far - all seems back to normal.  Guessing that the transitions are referred to the information contained in these files.  (Simply by removing the facts of useless project folder.)

It's a good thing, because if you have a huge file and it becomes corrupt you have lost everything.

  • I downloaded an update and restarted my computer, received the blue screen of death shortly after the computer restarts. Now it does not start

I don't know when the downloaded update, the computer has been restarted on September 10, 2010 to install updates. Shortlyl once the computer is restarted, I got the blue screen of death.  with the details of error like:

Stop 0 x 000000050 (0 x 000000000000000, 0xFFFFF88001DCAE4, 0xFFFFF8A00B490027, 0 x 00000000000002) do not know if the number of zeros is exactly right in one of those, but it's super frustrating.

I tried to restart my computer in repair as recommended (get blue screen of death), I tried to reboot normally, loop just restart procedures asking if I want to restart in repair mode.  I tried SafeMode (BSOD), I tried to restart with last working restart (restart loops), I tried to choose the "Computer repair" BSOD I tried a diagnosis and all past.

    Help!

    Thank you.

So yes actually hear nothing helped me.  Seems that, given that the computer is not stopped correctly and my hard drive was not recognized there starting the cycle upward or give me the BSOD.  Put it in my Ubuntu CD spare which I've had since my last PC hard drive became corrupt and force back across my hard drive.  After doing this, I was able to do a boot repair, who led for the BSOD.  Not sure how that actually fixed, lost about 10 hours of my day.  So I guess I can chalk up to Microsoft and a reminder on why I should buy Mac for now on... an update shouldn't really cause such problems.

I get that not everyone has the same PC, so it is difficult to tell if an update is bad, but he should not do this and if an update is the cause of a certain segment of consumers who are updating must be taken down for everyone, or at least the users with the configuration that is known to have problems with an update.

Problem is solved, had to go back to a previous version of good boot where I have not install updates again.  Now, I'm trying to understand who was was bad, so I can leave my computer knows to ignore.

    Hi JRCLNSIN100,

    Welcome to Microsoft Answers Forums.

We would like to get some more information from you to help solve your problem. You better, please answer the following questions.

    ·         What is the disk you use to reinstall?

    ·         Is this a recovery or reinstalling the disc you are using?

    ·         When exactly do you get this error message?

    ·         What is the edition of Windows Vista, you try to install?

    ·         How old is the drive that you are using?

    ·         How are you starting the installation process?

After researching the error 0x8007000D code is essentially due to file corruption and a problem with the drive itself.

First check if you have scratches or dust on the disc and clean the surface and try again.

To check if the disk is wrong, you will need to copy the contents of the DVD to the hard drive and try to install using that.

To perform a flat installation of Windows Vista, follow these steps.

Note The hard disk must have at least 3 GB of free space on the disk for the Windows Vista installation files. The hard disk must have at least 15 GB of additional disk space to install Windows Vista. For more information about system requirements for Windows Vista, see the Microsoft Web site at the following address:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/products/windowsvista/editions/SystemRequirements.mspx

    1. Insert the Windows Vista installation disc.
    2. Start Windows Explorer.
    3. In Windows Explorer, click to select the drive for the Windows Vista installation disc.
    4. On the Edit menu, click select all.
    5. On the Edit menu, click copy.
    6. Click to select the hard disk you want to contain the flat installation files.
    7. On the file menu, point to new, click the folder, type Windows Vista Setupand then press ENTER.
    8. Double-click the Windows Vista Setup program, and then click Paste on the Edit menu.
    9. Double-click Setup.exe, and then follow the instructions that appear.

See the link below for more information on flat installation.

This problem can also occur if the firmware of the DVD drive is defective or obsolete.

If the step above does not resolve the question suggests that you install the latest drivers for the DVD player on the computer.

Vista and Windows 7 updated drivers love then here's how update the most important.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click.
Uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check

  • Windows 7, Sysprep after getting an error "the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable."

When I run Sysprep on this Dell Latitude E6520 with Windows 7 (x 64) professional, then boot into Windows PE to create a picture, he said "the file or directory is corrupted and unreadable."

I made sure to restart 3 times before I ran sysprep this time because this is the 2nd time I got the error above.  Every time it reboots normally and the question obviously didn't happen until I ran sysprep.
The last time I had to delete the partition and re - format and start over. Fortunately I took a picture of this time right front of sysprep.
I even tried the Windows 7 installation disc to repair the MBR and the boot record, but he said he couldn't fix it, and he can't read this partition at all.
I thought also it could be a bad drive on this computer brand new, but I ran the diagnostics on the hard drive and there are no errors.

  • Windows Explorer Ramdomly stops and restarts.

Whenever I'm reviewing my files, be it on the C or D drive, windows Explorer randomly crashes and restarts, happened for a while now and I have no idea what causes it. However I noticed that happen when navigation control panel or searching for a file/location, for example, when I'm looking for a file to attach to an e-mail or by selecting a destination for the download of a file. It is really annoying because sometimes I have to move and copy files and Windows Explorer just throws me and I will once again to the location of the folder. I tried in safe mode, it happens again, but in fact it does not restart, it just closes and I have to open it again through Manager tasks, often crashing the Manager of the tasks, all in safe mode. I also tried the clean boot and continues to be, and sfc/scannow told me that corrupted files have been found but unable to fix, and I have no idea how to proceed.

    (1) run chkdsk as follows:

A prompt by right clicking and select "Run as Administrator"
and then at the command prompt, type: chkdsk /f r, then press the Enter key.

If you are asked to plan the volume to check the next time that the system/PC reboots,
    Enter: y

    Now, restart the PC.

Keep an eye on the screen and watch to see if errors are reported.

If you know the manufacturing of your hard drive you can also download their diagnostic software.

Another use: SpeedFan has an online health analysis function

    (2) run the command SFC /SCANNOW.

This will check and repair if necessary all of the critical Windows system files.

Click on start / all programs/accessories then
Right-click on the command prompt option and select "Run as Administrator".
(or "Safe Mode" open a command prompt)

  • IOS corrupted and lost

Well, here is my problem on Friday... I tried to update the IOS on Ap1231 and 2 of them gave me bad results. The first, running the IOS in memory but don't copy the config for the flash. So the http, https does not work and I don't know how to get the bin on the access file.

The 2nd AP is corrupted and is now about to quick access. I'm figuring there is a path through the serial port, but I can't find any info on the site.

Can someone help, it's a mystery to me, for which upgrades are always a cross your thing a little fingers with these series 1200 AP

    Hi Jeff,

Good fun for a Friday :)

    You can try this method?

Reload the Image of Point of access/Bridge (adapted Edited)

    Using the CLI

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/products/ps5861/products_configuration_guide_chapter09186a00804ed72c.html#wp1071147

Step 1 open the CLI using a connection or a Telnet session to port console access point.

Step 2 Reboot the access point by removing power and reapplying power.

Step 3 let the boot of access point until it begins to swell the image. When you see these lines on the CLI, press Esc:

    Loading "flash:/c1310-k9w7-mx.v122_13_ja.20031010/c1310-k9w7-mx.v122_13_ja.20031010".

    ...###########################################

Note according to the software emulation of terminal you are using, you may need to press ESC twice to access the boot loader.

Step 4 when the bridge: command prompt appears, enter the set command to assign an IP address, subnet mask and Gateway default to the access point.

Note You must use uppercase characters when you enter options IP-ADDR, NETWORK and DEFAULT_ROUTER mask with the set command.

Your entries might look like this example:

    AP: value 192.168.133.160 IP_ADDR

AP: the value of 255.255.255.0 subnet mask

    AP: set DEFAULT_ROUTER 192.168.133.1

Step 5 enter the command tftp_init to prepare the access point for TFTP.

    AP: tftp_init

Step 6, enter the "tar" command to load and inflate the new image to your TFTP server. The order must include this information:

the option - such, which inflates the image when it is charged

the IP address of your TFTP server

the directory on the TFTP server containing the image

    the name of the image

the destination of the image (the access point Flash)

Your entry might look like this example:

    AP: tar - suchftp://192.168.130.222/images/c1310-k9w7-tar.122_15.JA1 flash t:

Step 7 when the display becomes full breaks in the CLI and displays - MORE-. Press SPACEBAR to continue.

    extracting information (229 bytes)

    C1310-k9w7-MX.122-15.JA1/ (directory) 0 (bytes)

    C1310-k9w7-MX.122-15.JA1/HTML/ (directory) 0 (bytes)

    C1310-k9w7-MX.122-15.JA1/HTML/Level1/ (directory) 0 (bytes)

    extraction c1310-k9w7-mx.122-15.JA1/html/level1/appsui.js (558 bytes)

    -MORE-

If you do not press the SPACEBAR to continue, the process eventually times out and the access point continues to inflate the image.

Step 8, type the command STARTER set to designate the new image that image that the access point uses when it restarts. The access point creates a directory for the image that has the same name as the image, and you must include the directory in the command. Your entry might look like this example:

    AP: set initialization flash:/c1310-k9w7-mx.122-15.JA1/c1310-k9w7-mx.122-15.JA1

Step 9, enter the set command to check your boot loader entries.

    AP: the value

    Boot=Flash:/C1310-k9w7-MX.122-15.JA1/C1310-k9w7-MX.122-15.JA1

    DEFAULT_ROUTER = 192.168.133.1

    IP_ADDR = 192.168.133.160

    SUBNET MASK = 255.255.255.0

Step 10 enter the command start to reset the access point. When the access point reboots, it will load the new image.

    AP: start

    I hope this helps!
