Microsoft Bluetrack desktop wireless 5000

We had our two laptops stolen in our home yesterday with bluetrack dongles from USB ports. We have now two desktops without dongles. You can get the dongles separately or are particularly well matched and non programmable?

Hi Paul,.

I'm sorry to know that laptops were stolen from your House.

I want to tell you that you can get the dongles separately, but it may or may not work because it depends on the signals of the radio.

    2 days ago I upgraded my Dell Dimension e521 from Vista to Windows 7 - it was the upgrade, not own full installation.

The mouse is a Microsoft Wireless 5000, part of the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000 BlueTrack-keyboard mouse, USB packet.     I tried the following to resolve the problem, without success;

    -Uninstall and reinstall the software for the keyboard and mouse

  • Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 bluetooth service is not in the list.

    Original title: Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 bluetooth device settings problems and

    I recently bought a laptop computer Lenovo ideapad Y530 and a Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000.  I can't mouse to be recognized by the application of Bluetooth device.  I can go into the control panel and I see the icon of Bluetooth device.  I can click on it, but I can't select device settings.  When I click on device settings it is just and do not return the user interface.  Also when I followed some of the suggestions in the other forums on enter the services.msc look for Bluetooth Support to ensure that it is on, that service does not appear on my list to select.  Also, it does not find the device mouse even when it is in pairing mode.

    This icon does not appear on the status bar at the bottom of the screen with the other icons either.  The WLAN icon is there but not the Bluetooth.  Is there a way for me to check to make sure that the Bluetooth is actually being run and get the mouse to work?  I have Windows VISTA with service Pack 2 on the laptop.

    Hi POW2,.

    This is the site you can download the software/driver for your mouse.   There are two 5000 mouse listed, I don't know which is yours.  Do a test to see if the problem will be solved.

  • Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 question

    I've been using the Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000 with my laptop Sony VAIO under Vista Home Premium for almost 6 months. A few days earlier, I was transferring a file from my laptop to my phone via bluetooth while the mouse is connected. During this operation, the cursor of the mouse began to move eradically in the branch on which I show the mouse. He was slow and jerky by following my movements. I had noticed this behavior in previous proceedings, all in my phone and pc were in communication via bluetooth. To fix this issue on all other occasions, I would be simply to disable the bluetooth mouse that had completed the transfer and then turn it back on and it will behave as expected. On this occasion I hit by mistake the detectable button on the bottom of the mouse instead of the power switch. The mouse came into discoverable mode, indicated by the alternating flashes red and green battery light, and the cursor no longer responds. Then, I turned off the mouse and turned back, waiting for his execution to return to normal. However, he was always insensitive. I tried to add the mouse using the bluetooth devices Wizard, but as Research Assistant for the devices mouse is not discovered, although it is in discovery mode. So, I fixed my drivers bluetooth supplied with the laptop, but no change. Interestingly, in the device under the mouse Manager, here's my touchpad and a hid-compliant mouse, if I don't have another mouse connected. When I turn off my bluetooth power, this device disappears from Device Manager and reappears when the power is turned back on, despite the bluetooth mouse not lit. I can still communicate with my phone via bluetooth, but not the mouse. Microsoft sent me a new mouse, but I do not expect this to solve the problem, because I think it's a software problem. Someone at - it ideas? If you would like more information, I can certainly do...

    I had the same problem the year last on a Dell XT; Ms sent me a new mouse BT 5000 and still had the issue. I gave up and updates several months later and unknown, the machine worked again. Today, I tried to use it on another laptop and worked well. I went back to my XT and the red LED flashing (detection mode) is back. Now, it will not pair with a PC. I think the problem is with the mouse it self. He becomes confused and stock in a mode that is not really "detectable" or bc no BT device cannot be found. Remove the water for long periods only resets NOT to be. I finally make it work but don't know what not solved the problem but that's what I did: disconnected (off) BT on PC, which is held to discover button mouse while turning power off, battery removed from the mouse. BT on PC has and began to search for devices of BT, replaced batt in mouse and turned on, you press on discover button mouse (PC is always looking for a device), and he appeared! I chose it and the red light stopped flashing and works well.

    Note that I tried everything back several months ago on the different versions of hosts BT running on XP pro with no luck. Now I use Win7 and this procedure was performed on a Win7 OS PC which seems to be more stable. Hope this helps someone. Sorry I could not be more specific about what is perhaps the question; I still don't know! :)
