Cannot return my T410 after 4 months. ?

I'm starting get frustrated with how Lenovo deals with their client.

I bought my T410 back in June 2010, and he has been in and out of the repair shop since.

The first was BSOD, overheating, freezing constantly, and currently it is in the repair shop for a bright spot on the screen and the keyboard deforming (possible because of previous heat problem).

I talked to 'Earl_L' via chat and explained my problems in the hope of getting a system for replacement or refund, and his response was "get a new system.

Then I said ' what should I do with that service Depot.

Its shallow was "selling".

What kind of * beep * ing customer service is who?

I bought 3 thinkpads already this year and this is how they treat their customers.

    I had 3 different notebooks in the past and never had this problem and from my point of view this question cannot goes without any pressure from the outside

    Hello alanandmovita, you could try to return to a Windows Restore Point before your latest Microsoft updates where you mentioned that he installed Essentials without your permission.

    Go to the start ORB, all programs, accessories, System Tools, System Restore, and look for a date before the updates were installed.

    There is a reason, that I never use automatic updates. Windows updates all that Microsoft feels that they want that you want or need or not.

    In your case I would use compressed air jet on the underside and on the left side of the laptop to make sure that blow you the dust from the cooling fans.

    You may have damaged hard drive to the iPod (or other component).  You are able to put it in Disk Mode?

    Put the iPod in disk - Apple Support Mode

    If it passes in disc Mode, run iTunes on the computer and connect the iPod.  iTunes may ask you to do a restore with a message on the "recovery."  If you're OK with deletion of the iPod, tell iTunes to perform the restore.

    If it does not go in Disk Mode, or the restore fails, you have a hardware problem with the iPod hard drive.

    Maybe someone could be scared to see this issue for the first time, but to be honest it s not unusual after 9 months of use of the laptop.

    Fans may not turn with a maximum yield due to dust and debris inside the laptop.
    Usually the cooling modules will have to be cleaned from time to time to avoid these overheating problems.

    So now you ask how to clean the fans? ;)
    Well, you could buy and professional tool like a jet of compressed air and may attempt to blow through the fans.
    Generally, it should help.
    If this isn't the case, I recommend strongly to contact and laptop technician who could help you clean the cooling professionally modules.

    2. You have security software installed on the computer?

    I suggest that you try to start in safe mode and then try to log on to Windows using the default Administrator account and then remove the password for your account, check if it helps.
