My company adds two monitors to existing systems that are also running good XP and windows 7. Everything goes smoothly with the exception of one system using windows XP. I replaced the original video card (ATI DELL X 1300 128 MB VIDEO CARD in the PCI-E DVI TV-OUT) with nvidia GeForce 8400 GS and when I try to install the drivers through the disk, I get the following message: "Windows cannot read this disk. The disc's might be corrupted or it could be in a form that is not compatible with Windows. I flashed the BIOS, but still nothing. Do I need a different video card?

Paint cannot read this file type error message
When I try to open the pdf files I get an error of the painting saying "Paint cannot read this file. Is not a valid bitmap file, or its format is not currently supported. I've been opening of pdf files and using paint for years and now only recently have these errors. I have not installed anything else when my PC is running automatic updates and installs updates. I don't have downlaoded or else installed for a long time (before this problem occurred), I'm sure. When I opened the program paint of my Start menu it opens fine, and when I try to open the file I downloaded, it is not yet recognized. Can you help me?

Hello.
As above, I now get the "C00D11B1" error code when you try to play MPG files out of my camera through Media Player. It cannot read this type of file. Unfortunately, for the past six years, he played identical videos taken out of this camera.
Help on the Web sends me to a page that doesn't seem to be not applicable, with my sound card is the issue (it is perfectly functional, plays MP3s, etc.). Media Player plays all the other files it usually plays (AVI, MP4).
I checked with Windows Update, just as a thought. Nothing has changed - not surprising.
How can I fix? I don't want to take just a blind shot to a system restore point. I'm under the latest Windows 7, 32-bit, and nothing (including the MSE) Watch malware either. Already tried MS Fix - It. He finds a couple of possible errors and I let correct... but nothing that has solved the problem.
Thank you very much.
Well, after trying dozens of solutions across Internet, try to use my Windows recovery disk and each system restore, I had?
My solution was to reinstall Windows 7 completely.
It worked. If you can call the requirement of swatting a fly with a bazooka 'working '.
Here's my solution.

I reinstalled Win 10 about 3 weeks ago and now cannot install Acrobat.
I reinstalled Win 10 about 3 weeks ago. Then I tried to download and install Acrobat Reader. However, during installation it gets about 65% then stops stating 'a newer version is already installed. I have formatted the drive before reinstalling Win 10 and have spent hours to read help articles and questions in the forum. I can't afford to lose more time so I appreciate and help.
Hi Carrera935GT ,
I'm sorry for the late reply.
Could you please let me know when exactly you get this error message.
Try referring to this link: internal error 2753 when installing Acrobat or Reader and let us know if this helps.
Also try to run the Setup program, Microsoft cleaning tool and then try to install drive.
Let us know if that helps.

Outlook Express downloads e-mail messages for the 2nd time which have been read and deleted a few weeks ago. This happens periodically. Repeated messages are usually a week.
Maybe they are still on the server (server of your ISP). Make sure that you don't leave copies of messages downloaded from the ISP server that may cause duplicate messages to download.
It's the only thing I can think of.
If you are unsure how to check your messages via the Internet site of the ISP, then check with them about how you do that. TaurArian [MVP] 2005-2010 - Update Services

I have a Mac Book Pro (mid-2014) running OSX Yosemite 10.10. 5, 2.6 GHz Intel Core i5 processor,.
Have Microsoft PowerPoint 2008 version 12.3.6
Created a Keynote presentation. Tried to export to powerpoint. When I opened the presentation power point, it says, "PowerPoint cannot read." It shows only the first slide. The rest of the slides are empty. A few months ago, I created a similar keynote presentation and it exported to PowerPoint without any problem. The old power point presentation always works. Why the other does not? Is - it because I have updated my apple software since then?
PowerPoint files exported from central point for playback in PowerPoint 2008 must be in pptx format:

Suddenly, for the first time, I get this message why I try to open my Word documents. Obviously, I did something to my installation; I normally do not use Paint. I suspect that it is an easy fix, but I don't know where to start. I would appreciate any advice.
It is not surprising that paint cannot figure out what to do with a Word document.
It sounds as if your file associations have become confused.
Find a Word doc, right-click on it and select open with > choose default program
Select Microsoft Word from the list of recommended programs, don't forget to check the box "Always use the selected program to open this type of file", and then click OK.

HP dv9000 vista laptop won't start. Attempt to restore repair result several times cannot be made online. BIOS ran diagnostics, everything was good except the hard disk, hd chk result: replace the hard drive. F11 entered to access advanced hp Recovery Manager options tempted towards the top of the entire disk, all files show while listing to back up, attached to my external hard drive current over the back with success. Plugged external on another laptop, new files since the previous backup are no where. Should I buy a new external hard drive and repeat the backup via Recovery Manager Advanced Options or should I remove the internal hard disk and insert it into a case and apply in usb on another laptop to view the files. I know when my computer crashed, I had too many windows/tabs open and too much process and tried to interrupt a process and I confused his little brain and now he has Alzheimer's disease. I am freaked because I'll lose everything 2012 including some very important documents and about 50 000 pictures HD (yes I learned my lesson backup!) I am in crisis mode because I recently became sick and my photos and documents is vital for my next year of chemotherapy and radiation. Please advice are extremely appreciated. Thank you
Hello
This backup after pressing F11 is a HP backup option, not a Microsoft option.
I suggest that you contact HP or ask their Support Forums.
It's the normal advice I'd give to record data; but we have no idea of the State of your hard drive.
Saving your files:
You can remove the hard drive and put it in a hard drive USB enclosure > plug it into another computer > and try to read and copy your data in this way.
Or, you can download Knoppix > make a bootdisk to > start your system with it (IF your material is all work) > and copy your data from the hard drive like that.
See you soon.

Satellite Pro L510 - computer laptop Toshiba DVD - RAM cannot read disks
My laptop toshiba Satellite Pro L510 computer may not play all discs as I installed Microsoft Expression Studio 4 by using the original CD... now whenever I insert a disc, the dvd - ram turns the disc for a few seconds and thn stops spinnig.
Then drive shows that there is nothing inside the disk and it is completely empty.
I can't even restart my operating system discs cannot be read from the bios either.
I uninstalled the drive, the updated drivers, but it did not help. Please help me, I really need to use dvd ram... I use windows xp sp2 and using the laptop for 8-9 months...Help, please!

According to this statement you must have installed Windows XP SP3 home edition.Your ad is a bit confusing to me. You have a problem with the functionality of DVD - RAM or optical disc drive cannot read all drives (different CD, DVD, DVD - R formats. DVD + R and so on)?
I put t know what is the problem with the optical disc drive, but way generally, an installation of software packages has nothing to do with ODD when you use it as first boot device.

Restart or reinstall?

HP Pavilion X 2: HP Pavilion XP cannot read data from USB DVDs
We bought a HP 10-ND200ND (HP pavilion X 2) in the Mediamarkt and tried to install Microsoft Office from a DVD via a DVD USB Samsung player. This was not possible. According to Support Mediamarkt this product is a Tablet and so cannot read data DVD´s. Only General to play music. To buy a laptop computer for this application. The operating system is Windows 10 (32 bit). Is that correct. Please advice.
Hi Banhien, the cause is known. I have seen other comments on the HP forum and concluded that the reader needs more power than is available through the USB connector of. I added a hub that can provide power to its connectors USB, HP X 2, by car and the problem has been resolved! It was noted that the mini USB is also more powerful and with the type of adapter USB USB C it might also work, but I did not test this, because I do not have such an adapter. It's odd that such a mini can provide more power. It is surprising that the HP Pavilion X 2 does not have a powerful USB. But the problem is solved. Thanks for your response! Best regards, wiely
