  Today I bought the LifeCam hd3000. The software is installed properly and the camera gives an excellent image. The only problem I have is that the microphone does not work in any program. The microphone is set as the default device and appears in system properties.

  My computer is auto built... My specs are as follows.

  Microsoft windows 7 ultimate 64-bit

  Service pack 1 with all important updates

  East of card mother Asrock G31M-S R2.0

  The processor is Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 @2. 66 GHz
