Just install applications that use installation files and the activation code, you should have your student account Adobe Creative Suite.  If this is related to a creative cloud account then you would install the CC Manager.  In the case of a business license Creative Suite you will find downloads through the following page.  Download and Installation Help | Download and Installation Help

  • Microsoft Surface RT and PRO and the limits because of downloadable applications

I was really interested in buying a Microsoft Surface. My thing is that I can not want to work / download to off the platform "RT" only because of the limitations. There are only a few apps that I really need... like Netflix!  Can I download Netflix on the RT? Also, I probably can't download Itunes either.  Is it possible to download on the Surface Pro well? These things make a difference when dealing with the RT and the Surface PRO Surface

Your post is off-topic in the Feedback forum.  I moved it to the forum Windows RT "Windows Store" when it is on the subject.

I don't have a device of Surface RT, but every place I know which offers Netflix (store game Google, Amazon Android Store, store Windows 8) free offer.  According to a five-second web search, the Windows store has a free version of RT from Netflix.

Even if the app is free, subscription to Netflix is not.  Current cost is US $7.99 a month.

iTunes for Windows RT does not exist at this stage.  Frankly, I don't see Apple not write it.  DoubleTwist, which implements Apple AirPlay is available on the Windows RT running on processors of Qualcomm Snapdragon.

Winamp works on Windows RT and it can import iTunes libraries, but it can not connect with the iTunes store, as far as I know.

  • How can I print my Microsoft Surface running Windows 8 RT?

How can I print my Microsoft Surface running Windows 8 RT?

Most new wireless printers have an impression of the Microsoft Surface with Windows 8 RT problem.  Everything you need to make these printers is tell them to print and they will.  Older wireless, Ethernet and USB printers should not have driver officially supported in Windows 8 RT, but there is a way to get the printer working.  There are different requirements depending on how the printer is connected to the Surface.

Note: All the steps below are only for other HP ink Jet, DeskJet, PhotoSmart and OfficeJet printers.  These steps are not for Laserjet printers or printers from other manufacturers.  These steps may not work for all inkjet printers.  If these steps do not work, try different drivers in the list until you find the one that works (you'll understand what I mean once you follow the steps below).  If none of the drivers work, your printer does not work with the Surface.

For (Ethernet or wireless) network printers, all you need is Surface keyboard or a USB keyboard to connect to the Surface.  It is simply what you have to type more easy to type.  You will also need to have the Surface and the printer connected to the same network.

    1. From the right edge, drag your finger to the left on the screen Surface to appear charms bar.
    2. Press search.
    3. Under the search box, tap Settings.
    4. In the search box, type devices and printers.
    5. Press devices and printers.
    6. Contact add a printer.
    7. Tap "my printer is not listed.
    8. Select the TCP/IP option and then press Next.
    9. Enter the IP address of the printer and press Next.  Note: You can get this from the network printer, or list DHCP in your router Configuration Page.
    10. The Surface will locate the printer and try to install it.  Installation fails, and the Surface will be asked what you want to do, look on the internet for the driver, or manually install the driver.  Choose to install the driver yourself.
    11. Press 'I want to choose from a list of drivers.
    12. If no driver is in the list, make sure that the box next to 'Show compatible drivers' is not checked.
    13. Choose HP in the production list.
    14. Choose driver DeskJet PCL 3 class in the list of drivers.  If this driver does not work, try using the Photosmart PCL3 driver, or the driver Officejet PCL 3.  (Thanks JonW for letting me know about these other alternates.) )
    15. Press Next.
    16. Tap Finish.
    17. Test print.

For USB connected printers, need you a USB cable to connect the printer to the computer.

    1. Connect the printer to the computer via USB.
    2. Windows will try to find the drivers but will not be able to.
    3. Here Windows may ask you if you want to choose the driver to install.  If she go to step 14 below.
    4. From the right edge, drag your finger to the left on the screen Surface to appear charms bar.
    5. Press search.
    6. Under the search box, tap Settings.
    7. In the search box, type Device Manager.
    8. Press Device Manager.
    9. Tap view and select Show Hidden.
    10. Search for the printer in Device Manager.  It should be in the other devices section with a yellow warning next to her sign.
    11. Select the printer in the list.
    12. Press Action.
    13. Update driver to touch or to install any what it displays.
    14. The Surface will ask you what you want to do, look on the internet for the driver, or manually install the driver.  Choose to install the driver yourself.
    15. Press 'I want to choose from a list of drivers.
    16. If no driver is in the list, make sure that the box next to 'Show compatible drivers' is not checked.
    17. Choose HP in the production list.
    18. Choose driver DeskJet PCL 3 class in the list of drivers.  If this driver does not work, try using the Photosmart PCL3 driver, or the driver Officejet PCL 3.  (Thanks JonW for letting me know about these other alternates.)  )
    19. Press Next.
    20. Tap Finish.
    21. Test print.

    I hope this helps.

  • Integration of the Bulletin Board and microsoft surface?

Toshiba think integration Bulletin Board with microsoft surface?
    It would be very cool!

Unfortunately, I can not comment on your question but would like to say that I love your posts and your comments.
There is not a lot of people who have made suggestions how to improve things on this forum.

I think Toshiba lend more attention to the own customers.
Let's see what will happen with the Bulletin Board. In any case, I can imagine that Toshiba will continue to develop it with new features.

  • ePrint does not print web pages of Tablet Windows 8 Microsoft Surface

ePrint does not print web pages of Windows 8 (x 64) Microsoft Surface Tablet

    Any ideas?

    Hello JereTanner,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see you are trying to print web pages of a tablet of Surface. What model printer you are trying to print to? Also, is there an error, message, etc., when you try to print?

In general, ePrint is used when printing emails or transmission of documents / photos to the printer address, is the next how you try to print a web page?

Since it is a Windows 8 operating system, you can be able to install the full features software and print that way. When I know more about how you want to print, what happens when you try and which printer you are using, I will be able to help.

    See you soon,.

  • How to do a restore to factory for Microsoft Surface Table

    Hi all

Sorry I'm posting this here as I can't find any category more closely on my type of device.

I have a Microsoft Surface. It's the table HUGE Microsoft launched in 2008 and not the Surface Pro you series. Refer to the image.

Problem now is that no one knows the password to the device and I can't do a repair without the password.

My MS Account manager gave me this link to reset to the default account 'defaultSurfaceUser' but I'm not able to do because I do not have the password for the local account that we created.

I contacted the MS support, but the only response was that they have no idea of what to do as this was not sold in Hong KONG and ask me to try the community instead.

Any kind souls of MS will advise how to factory reset this baby or where to get an ISO to reinstall the operating system. If this isn't the case, it will be just a huge table doing nothing in my office.

  • Is faster than the HP Mini 110 Microsoft Surface?

My HP Mini 110 series netbook is SLOW and it is 2 years old and the Microsoft Surface seems newer, but I want to know if the Microsoft Surface would go faster (for example, loading programs and files, etc.)

The HP Mini 110 has an Intel Atom processor and the Microsoft Surface has an ARM processor.

The Microsoft Surface would be faster than the HP Mini 110?

It must be such that it is a newer CPU, but until the Surface is in the hands of consumers, we do not have really the real world benchmarks. I am 100% sure that whatever that is released by Microsoft or others would show much faster and better in all aspects. But these are marketing people making conversation, not technicians running the real numbers.

  • HP ENVY 4504: Problem with HP ENVY 4504 and Microsoft Surface Pro2

Today, I bought a HP ENVY 4504. It was easy to install wireless on my Medion desktop with Windows 8.1.

However try to install it on my Pro 2 of Microsoft Surface, it does not appear in the wireless network environment. Trying to connect via USB, the Surface does not recognize the printer as a USB device.

However, try to connect via USB to the desktop computer, it connects immediately.

Disabled the firewall (Windows Defender) and antivirus (Avira) protection on the Surface: no solution.

Tried the Scan doctor and HP printer. The software does not recognize the printer

I checked that it is on the same network.

Did you uninstall and reinstall the software drivers: no effect

Something is blocking the printer in the Surface, but what. Never had or have problems connecting equipent at the Surface, not in wifi or USB.

To complicate matters. My 5 Nexus on Lollipop 5.1 also refused to find the printer on the network. However, if I start a Wifi Direct terminal between the two, it works.

I spent hours trying to solve this problem. Help, please!

I found a solution to my problem myself.

Turns out tha my router (Fritzbox) has a security feature that blocks the communication between devices connected wireless. It is enabled by default.

A simple tickmark in box aside ' displayed below active wireless devices can communicate with each other "did the round (WLAN - security - additional security settings)"

Now the laptop as well as my smartphone can see the printer/scanner

The printer communicates wirelessly with the router, but the office is connected to the router. That's why it worked fine from the start.

I hope my experience can help someone with similar problems, so my last night was not lost in vain

  • Microsoft Surface 8.1 RT

I fight to locate a compatible driver for my printer HP Photosmart C5180 - even just a basic driver - my Microsoft surface 8.1RT.

Has anyone successfully achieved this... ??   If so would like to know how!

    Thank you

If the printer is connected by the network, I would suggest trying one of the following conditions, any of these should work with the Photosmart c5180:

    PCL3 driver class A-size printer

    Photosmart HP 5510

    HP Photosmart c309a

  • I'm not able to change a Microsoft Surface Collage once registered.

I use a VAIO VPCJ1 multi touch screen and the Microsoft Surface Collage software that is preinstalled on the pc, but there is no instructions.  The problem I have is that after than moving the gallery images (which can be found at the bottom of the screen) in the collage to exit the screen I would save (part of right click below icon) file then save as a j..

If I want then to change or to add to the collage, that the software does not allow to do as it is save as a j., the Question is how can you save a collage that allows changes?

You can not. You must start a new collage.
