Microsoft Office error after windows startup

Sometimes when I start windows, I get a microsoft office error message that says: 'something went wrong '. It's happened since I got the computer, but the strange thing is that sometimes just right after the start, even if I did not open office. Is it possible to get rid of it because it's very annoying.

Original title: Windows Installer and Microsoft Office problems after you have uninstalled the printer

I tried to install more than one printer, a HP Photosmart C4280 by downloading the drivers and updates on the HP site. I uninstalled the printer after it failed to scan a document and I had no more use for it. Then the trouble started. When I tried to open some programs (iTunes, Skype, etc.) for the first time after the uninstall of the printer, a window "Windows Installer" popped up. After you have configured Windows Installer, the program would open normally. However, when I try to open any Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.), Windows Installer appears, but it turns into a window that reads:
"This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer update package. »

Microsoft Office programs are open at all, and I desperately need my programs of Microsoft Office to work even faster. I would appreciate it if Windows Installer will stop trying to configure when I open a program also. Can someone help me please?

You buy a genuine Windows 7 license. The copy of Windows 7 Ultimate, you have installed is an OEM SLP license that should only be preloaded with a new PC. You seem to have installed a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate that uses an activation exploit that bypasses the product activation.

We know that it is because the BIOS date:

    20090115000000.000000 + 000

Windows 7 was released in October 2009, the date of your BIOS says January 2009, which probably means your system is provided with Windows Vista or Windows XP.

In addition, he is a well known Windows 7 Ultimate license which has been used all over the web:

    Windows product key: *-* - Q6MMK - KYK6X-VKM6G

Do a search on the web.

Thus, you must either charge your version of Windows that came on your computer (Vista or XP) or consider purchasing a license of Windows 7 genuine.

  • Have no Microsoft Office installed, but Windows update keeps trying to install an "important security fix" for Office KB951944

I recently bought a Dell Inspiron 1545 with Windows Vista Edition Home Premium 64bits. A trial version of office 2007 has been pre-installed, but I removed it. Because something was wrong with deleting automatically I followed the instructions of a Microsoft Office site to manually remove. Although I followed all the steps, I still think that Windows Update sniffs a bit of the program, cause he mind keeps me with the security patch. Anyone an idea how to get rid of it?

    Thank you!

You can 'hide' any updates, but be aware that doing this cannot 'hide' all the new Office updates.

How to hide updates in Vista: click on view available updates (or Select the updates installed). Right-click on the update you want to hide. Click hide update | Confirm the UAC (User Account Control) prompt, as appropriate.

To restore/show updates for Vista: Start | Control Panel | System maintenance and (if you use Classic view, skip this step) | Windows Update | Restore hidden updates: Find and select the update you want to install | Restoration of. You can now select once again it and install through the normal process.

TIP: to avoid the downloading/installation, updates that you do not want to configure the automatic updates option second or third parameter in the Edit settings window. See picture here: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/windowsupdate/learn/windowsvista.mspx

  • With the help of Microsoft Office 2003 in Windows 7 that has been changed in Windows XP

The company I work for recently had to buy a new computer because our hard drive crashed.  We were accustomed to using Windows XP, so the newcomer with Windows 7, but they managed to install Windows XP on it, which is good, since that's what we are used to.  However, the new computer came with OpenOffice and not Microsoft Word or Excel.  Some of the functionality is the same, but it is quite different and slows me down because the formatting of the documents is not the same and we don't have time to reformat all of our existing documents.  We have been using Word 2003 and Excel 2003.  Can someone tell me if buy us Microsoft Office 2003, if it will work on our existing Windows 7 with Windows XP change?  If so, our existing documents created in the 2003 version will remain unchanged or anyway should I reformat them?  Any help you can provide is MUCH appreciated.  Thank you!

If your company has put Windows XP on it - which was a 100% wipe.  This computer has no idea that he had never Windows 7 top because it cannot read some sticker is on it (product key/certificate of authenticity), nor can it read the invoice which was purchased with it.

When they suffered the (formatted) system and installed Windows XP pn it cleanly and updated it - they should have installed other software you needed in the context of your work.  Which probably included Office 2003.

OpenOffice is free - anyone can get it.  If you own a license for Microsoft Office 2003, you do not - you might have installed on Windows 7, or you can install it on Windows XP now. (License and support).

  • Notice appears after Windows startup

I recently had (Oh Yes... She is my best friend!) an old computer running Windows 7, 64-bit, an older version to use as a backup of the machine.  There was plenty of crapware and malware and a virus or two but I managed to get the all clear upward and all is to come clean and works very well.  Finally almost.  I need a few questions answered or help:

When I turn on the computer, the screen stands up and says Windows startup.  Then in quick succession, I get 3 reviews, the first is (maybe start or load) Local Session Manager.  The second is (perhaps starting or Loading... they come fast enough and I don't have them all written down) the user profile Service and the third says prepare your desktop computer.  Then my office loads and all is well.  I don't know what that means exactly, or if they need fixing, but any ideas are appreciated.  I deleted his user accounts and create an account under my name, and it is the only account on the machine not to mention that the guest account, where the power is off.  I also changed the name of the owner to mine.

Problem two is that every so often the machine returns to the Welcome screen, shown in the photo of my name and account and said locked beneath it.  I can just click on the photo and need me a back right on the desktop and everything I was doing, but I don't know why this is happening.

In addition, way back when she got the machine she was using CARBONITE!  She has deleted the part of it through the uninstall but I keep finding pieces here and there.  The biggest annoyance is that he presents as a disk on the desktop and I can't get rid of it.  He also has little locks on files, but I can still access them.  Most importantly, I want just all traces of this program without value passed.  What can I do?

In all these are not overwhelming problems, only little of annoyances I would clean up the Earth.

I do not have the homegroup activated, but my laptop and this machine share a wireless router.  For the record, I ran the check disk and scan disk, as well as several Mr. Fixits.  I worked on this machine without stop for about 4 days now, so I am tired and it would be nice that someone just tell me the answers instead of the hours of research like I did.  Appreciate any ideas!

    This can help you:

Or try this free Revo Uninstaller program to remove, if there is enough left of this one.

As a student at the University, it's catastrophic for Microsoft Office deleted. I was not able to connect to my computer without first refreshing it. Hello Astroguy,

Thank you for your response back!

Good to know that you have done a repair install.  What I would do is run the SFC scan, because you performed the installation of repair recently the chances are that the SFC scan should be good.  If there is a problem, it will signal you when finished.

Then I would go to Windows Update to check if he has new updates and/or try to update all those who did not.  If you still get the updates that do not please let us know what he's trying to put up-to-date and error.
