  Would you try to install the driver from the HP site and not the BOF the ATI Mobility site.

• Mouse and keyboard hangs after windows startup

• Video signal after windows startup

  I have an old Dell Dimension 4600i which has been improved and has Windows Home Premium installed.  It worked fine for about 4 years.  Today I started it and it on the 'Windows Logo' screen and it was OK.  To start Windows, I could barely do the screen since the screen looked like it was missing all other lines or so.  I tried the monitor on another Dell computer and it was fine.

  I tried to boot into 'safe mode' and all other authorized options with the options 'touch F8'.

  Belarc Advisor video card is "Adapter VGA Standard."

  Main circuit is: Dell Computer Corp. 0F4491

  BIOS: Dell A0801/15/2004.

  Try last good configuration in safe mode and check.
