Hello

I found something very interesting for you.

Preinstalled MS OneNote cannot be updated for Service Pack 1. When an update or reinstallation of Microsoft Office OneNote on the laptop, the following error message may appear:
"Installation of Microsoft Office OneNote cannot continue because the installation source has been corrupted."

Try reinstalling Microsoft Office OneNote from the Toshiba Recovery DVD. OneNote is present on a more recent version of this DVD, but not on the first version. If Microsoft Office OneNote is not present on the Toshiba Recovery DVD, then follow these steps to resolve the problem:

1. Locate the product key Microsoft Office OneNote, on the certificate of authenticity provided with your computer.
2. uninstall Microsoft OneNote, through the Add/Remove Programs applet in the control panel (start > settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs).
3. download the Microsoft Office OneNote 2003 trial on the Microsoft website:
https://Microsoft.order-4.com/onenotedl/welcome.asp?ID=front
4. install OneNote 2003 trial, using the product key from the certificate of authenticity located in step 1 instead of the product key listed on the Microsoft Web site. The product provided by Toshiba key unlocks the full version of OneNote trial version is a part of.

  • File sku1a1.cab missing Microsoft OneNote 2003

Here are the * real * the answer to this question that everyone is looking for:

    Missing sku1a1.cab file

    (1) get your OneNote product key off your computer.

There is a small free program that will do this for you here:

    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/ProduKey.zip

    (2) uninstall OneNote
    (3) download the trial version of OneNote here:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/Office/OneNote/prodinfo/trialoffer.mspx
    (4) install the trial version and enter your product key when prompted
    (5) check "Install updates" at the end of installation and it will install SP2 and get back where you were before the sku1a1.cab file has disappeared.

    UPDATE:
    I re-post this topic.

I just wanted to clarify a point, the reason why I have included "key demand" was because most of the questions I've seen about the *.cab file missing have been people who own the product but can't find their CD or key number.

That's what happened to me, and this is the solution I found that worked, when none of the forums that I searched gave a viable answer. My solution will not work if you do not have the product in the first place, because the key request will not be able to find a key on your computer for this program.

    Thank you.

    Hello

    Thanks for your advice.
But I don t think there is a need of using any key display programs.
To my knowledge, you will receive a CD cover with the activation key for OneNote.
You should check the back of the cover.

In any case, thanks for your help.
    Good bye

  • Can I install OneNote 2003 from the recovery disk?

I need a clarification (my Toshiba reseller and Microsoft technical support have proved to be also useless)
I have a Toshiba Satellite recovery and product

Recently (by mistake), I uninstalled Microsoft OneNote 2003
It is still on my recovery CD, I got the license number but I can't install it without reinstaling the entire system and formatting my hard drive?

And I really want to do.
    Is there another way?

    Thanks for your help

    > Recently (by mistake), I uninstalled Microsoft OneNote 2003
Before you take your recovery disk and format the HDD all new installation, you should try to use the System Restore tool in your Windows operating system.
There is an option that allows you to enable the operating system to the point of time at the beginning.
    Maybe it will work

  • How to uninstall OneNote 2003 (OEM)?

    Hello
I accidentally deleted my OneNote 2003 files including onote11.msi. In the result, this program does not work and so I can't deleted. What should I do to remove this program?

    Thank you
    Sergei

    Hello Sergei

I put t believe that someone has so much experience with OneNote. Try to install the OneNote again and after that repeat the deletion procedure. It is a part of the image of Toshiba, but you can also find it on https://microsoft.order-10.com/onenotedl60day/welcome.aspx?id=front

  • How can I get MS OneNote 2003 installed again?

    Hello.

I ve just bought a M40 which was preinstalled with MS XP Home and MS OneNote 2003. Now I ve installed XP Prof
How can I get MS OneNote 2003 installed again?

    Hello

Unfortunately, your M40 was an OEM XP Home Edition and Onenote installation. This means that products are 'grouped' and you should have a set of recovery CDs or DVDs for you to restore the system in case of hard drive failure or system get damaged somehow.

Unless you have been provided with a separate recovery for Onenote CD then the only way you can restore is to completely restore the entire system OEM (including XP Home Edition).

Your other option is to buy your own copy of Microsoft, in which case you will have a non - OEM version that you can then install regardless of the operating system.

I use a Server 2003 SP1 as a domain controller.  Now we have implemented group policy which is the default value

now some users when you are prompted to spend there the password are able to go through the process of implementation of their old password and change to new password but are constantly pushed to repeat the same process.  I don't have any screenshots as of this point of the error, simply users who suffer.  Any information is appreciated.
