  This issue may be caused if you are using the proxy settings, incorrect settings or store waiting for update needs to be installed on your computer. I would suggest trying the following steps and check if it helps.

  Step 1:

  Install all pending Windows updates and check if it makes a difference.

  To check updates

  one) open Windows Update in Control Panel by dragging it from the right edge of the screen, type Search (or, if you are using a mouse, pointing to the top right of the screen, move the pointer of the mouse down and then clicking Search), get into Windows Update in the search box, by typing or clicking on settings and then type or by clicking install optional updates.

  (b) in the left pane, press or click find updates, and then wait while Windows searches the latest updates for your PC.

  (c) if updates are found, tap or click install updates.

  Read and accept the terms of the license and then press or click Finish if the update requires it. You may be prompted for an administrator password or to confirm your choice.

  Step 2:

  I suggest you delete the Windows Store cache and check how it works.

  (a) press Windows + R logo

  (b) type wsreset.exe in the run window, and then press ENTER.

  Step 3:

  Disable the proxy connection

  If you use a Proxy connection, then try to disable the proxy connection and check.

  Follow the steps to turn off the proxy connection.

  (a) click on the gear box in the upper right corner in internet explore.

  (b) click on the Tools button and then click on Internet Options.

  (c) click on the Connections tab, then click LAN settings.

  (d) uncheck the use a proxy server for your LAN check box.

  (e) click ok.

  Please, try the following methods and check.

  Method 1: Run the System File Checker tool

  System File Checker is a Windows utility that allows users to find corruptions in Windows system files and restore the damaged files.

  Press the Windows key + X , and then click prompt (Admin)

  Type the following command and press enter

  sfc/scannow

  Note: Do not close the command prompt window until the audit is completed 100%. The results of the analysis will be posted when this process is complete.

  Method 2: Create a new user account

  Press Windows key + R to open the RUN box

  Type control userpasswords2 , and then press OK

  Under the user account window on the users tab, click Add tab

  Under How will this person sign-in windows, click the option at the bottom (not recommended) Microsoft connect without an account

  On the next window, click Account Local downstairs

  Choose a username (use password if you want or you can leave the section blank password because it is just to test)

  Click Next and then click Finish

  When you click on finish, the previous user accounts window remains on the screen

  Select newly created user, and then click Properties

  Click the group membership tab

  Click to select administrator and click other and select administrator from the drop-down list

  Click apply and then click OK

  Method 3: Perform the system restore to restore the computer to point earlier in time.

  Press the Windows key + X , and then click System

  Click on the System Protection

  Click on the system restore and click Next

  Choose a restore time when you think it worked very well. If you don't see any date when you think it worked very well, you click to check the box at the bottom that says: 'show more restore points'.

  Add a subject or a channel

  1. Tap Explore the bottom of the screen.
  2. Browse the categories, channels and topics that interest you.
  3. When you find a channel or a topic you want to add, click on .

  Looking for a specific topic or channel? Click the Search tab and enter what you are looking for. You can also add a topic or a channel, you are looking for to your Favorites. Just type in next to the search results.

  Remove a theme or a channel

  1. Go to your Favorites.

  Well I too struggled get up the store and running, with the error code 0x80072ee7. But I found an easy solution.

  • first of all, in search type services
  • then on the services window select store windows services
  • right click and press start .

  That is all now see the magic... Thank you
