Microsoft Sound map not detected by programs

original title: High Definition Audio Device: Microsoft Sound Mapper

I have currently a card High Definition Audio Sound (whether part of my motherboard or not I'm not sure) and its drivers are provided by Microsoft.

That is why such is multiple programs tell me I do not have the Microsoft Sound Mapper... Why is this... ?
All I want to do is capture audio system and again I find I have to jump through hoops just to know what is my problem, now I need to know if there are ANY means possible to get this on my system... I do not if I have to tell windows to use force.

If your PC is made up of pieces, then go to the website of the manufacturer of the motherboard and do the same thing, download then install W7 drivers specific for your MB.

The only reason why you will need a new audio device is if your Mo is not compatible W7. Re-post if there are no drivers available.

See you soon,.

  • Microsoft Desktop Designer, not detected

I bought the Microsoft Desktop, keyboard and Bluetooth mouse package designer.

Despite the guidelines in the Microsoft Help options 1, 2 and 3 of the section has failed.

I am convinced that it is a driver compatibility problem because the same steps failed on my Dell Latitude E7240, running Windows 7 Pro SP1 64-bit, as they did on my Asus EEEPc 1215 running windows 10.

Both devices connect and work perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy Note 8, my Samsung Galaxy S4 phone Tablet and my Apple iPhone 6.

I saw the lame answers in a lot of posts here, which none offer any explanation of why this product does not connect to Microsoft machines but works great on Microsoft products not?

I can't remove my generic Bluetooth driver, he re - installs automatically when Windows restarts.

Please advise a solution, or a refund of the cost of the product.

  • Lenovo T500 Sound card not detected

    Hey all,.

I have problems with its lenovo card drivers because I just do a fresh install of windows 7 on my T500. The audio worked before reinstallation, and as soon as I did, the noise stopped.

The problem seems to be that there is no audio device at all in Device Manager, there is also no question mark, other devices either.  There is also a no audio output device pop up when I mouse over the speaker at the bottom of the taskbar. I tried running driver audio windows 7 from lenovo, in a first time website, it did not work and gave one did not find a MEDIA device error, but putting all the files in a folder, he did run but there is no device in the selection box and it cost have no effect.

I tried to update all lenovo updates and installs all updates of windows with several charges. Everything I did I did as an administrator and no matter, I'm completely unable to get some kind of audio device installed.

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

Hi and welcome to the forum Jared!

Try to put the default BIOS settings.

Also, try to boot from a LiveCD of any popular linux distribution like Ubuntu, LInux etc. If you get also sound under linux, this is probably a hardware problem.

    Keep us informed.

I have an old Microsoft webcam, I found and I don't know what type it is. I plugged it in and nothing else that two of my universal usb controllers had evidence of error on them. I fixed the signs of the error and tried again, but I had the same problem.

It is possible that he is too old. I had an old webcam that doesn't work with anything, and we just had to scrap it and get a new one. This is probably your best option.

  • Computer can not detect any sound cards and graphics or communication ports.

Recently I reinstalled Windows using the CD, I had Dell, when I bought my computer. However, when I was done with the installation, I went on youtube to look at things and I realized that the sound was not working. I thought I must have forgotten to install the driver for my sound card, then when I tried to install, it says something in the sense of "error". - Impossible to find Port Com1 I looked into this a bit on google and found that it is probably disabled in my BiOS. I'm not sure what to do after that, but I hope that someone knows why my computer can not detect anything.  hate viruses

  • Internet and the sound does not work after uninstalling programs, System Restore also not work.

I noticed that my computer felt a bit slow so I uninstalled a few programs that I knew were not very helpful so I restarted my laptop, and then the network and the sound does not work.

I tried to use the system restore, but that does not work either and I tried to online solutions, but nothing works.

Most often when a device does not work, it is because the driver is damaged. Re-install a new copy should help

In system in the device for Sound Device Manager, there is not the Manufacter of specified device, this is that Microsoft High Definition Audio, there is NO questionmarks and the exclamation for this device...

I went to the Web to Realtek site to download the 2 latest audio device drivers and install them, but without result.

  • the Windows xp Setup program does not detect my hard drive

When I try to install Windows XP, it does not detect my hard drive which is visible in the bios.  My bios options are very limited, but I was able to use the bios to change the sata in ide.  It still does not work, and now he is not found with the disc of windows 7 I have.  This isn't a new pc.  He was working at a given time, but foolishly, I formatted the hard drive and have no drivers for my drive hard hitachi.  I bought a new seagate Mak, but now this disc hard is not allocated and is also not detected.  I have no way to get an operating system and I'm in a jam financially... Please help.

SATA drives are not recognized by Windows XP installation disc.  Change the BIOS SATA ATA sometimes solves this problem and allows you to install and sometimes does not.  Microsoft's solution is to press the F6 key when you are prompted for additional drivers, and then insert a floppy disk (Yes, it takes a floppy) with the top driver.

"Limited OEM driver support is available with F6 during installation of Windows XP and Windows Server 2003"

Several means have been formulated to work around needing a floppy disk.  You can view the following items:
