Computer can not detect any sound cards and graphics or communication ports.

Recently I reinstalled Windows using the CD, I had Dell, when I bought my computer. However, when I was done with the installation, I went on youtube to look at things and I realized that the sound was not working. I thought I must have forgotten to install the driver for my sound card, then when I tried to install, it says something in the sense of "error". - Impossible to find Port Com1 I looked into this a bit on google and found that it is probably disabled in my BiOS. I'm not sure what to do after that, but I hope that someone knows why my computer can not detect anything.  hate viruses

I have a HP Pavilion notebook. My system does not detect my sd card and I can't eject. Help?

From my understanding, most laptops allow you to simply remove the SD card back.  Others have a simple spring mechanism that requires you to press the memory card slightly until you hear a "click", similar to a click on a retractable pen, which must eject the card.

  • my computer is not playing any sound. lots of details! Help, please!

I went into Device Manager and believe I have located the problem but don't know how to fix it. in the "other devices" category, there is a yellow question mark. I have developed and there is a yellow question mark with a small exclamation mark next to it "multimedia audio controller". I double click on it and get this message "the drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)  To reinstall the drivers for this device, click on Reinstall driver. "I click on it then click on" Yes, this time only. " "he then asks me to what I would like the wizard to do it and I click on"install the software automatically (recommended). After doing research it display then "the hardware was not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software. is this the cause of the absence of sound, and if so what can do about it?

    Hi Tanisha_d411989,

Yes, the problem is due to missing drivers. You must insert your driver disk (perhaps embedded in the card mother driver cd/dvd, that came the computer) to install the audio drivers.

    I hope this helps.

  • After installation, my computer does not detect my Laserjet 1536dbf network and I can't print

I installed my printer on my home network. Now, my computer can not detect so I can't print.

I noticed that the printer indicates a different IP address that the router assigns to him and which is visible on the router configuration Web page. Reset of the printer and my router has no effect.

I had to reset my router a few days due to a failure in broadband. Could be the cause of the problem?

It turns out that reset the router after the failure in broadband, the other day off the ethernet port to which the printer is conncected. It's strange because the previous resets did not do that.

    Thanks for your help.
