Microsoft Tinker
For some reason any Microsoft tinker has simply disappeared. I played earlier, it didn't for 2 or 3 weeks and then when I wanted to try again, he simply disappeared.
* I looked in the directory C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Tinker and it's empty.
* I tried to uninstall and reinstall that the windows update, it is still not there.
* I uninstalled, deleted the folder, reinstalled the update of windows, still no game
* I checked for the installer, as suggested on the web, in [winroot] / winxs, but he was not there either...
Do a system restore is NOT an option at this point.

OK, after the previous post, I'm tired of canned responses and I fixed it!
It's a very complicated question, though; It is worth noting that my computer has two installed languages (en-US and en - US) and is running in the settings regional en - CA. I don't know how that would affect the dissapearance of Tinker, but as I'll explaing thereafter, it might affect things. Also note that I have disabled UAC (because the UAC control "resets" screen (change of default resolution in case the resolution is different?) and in this case my Bluetooth Microsoft mouse ALSO gets reset and when it does the mousewheel work more until I have reset the Bluetooth driver - I don't understand that either).
Step 1) uninstalled using the Control Panel programs and features (select the 'View installed updates' option, it will be under the "Microsoft Windows" group under the name of "Microsoft Tinker (KB954955) name; right-click and select uninstall).
Step 2) Redownloaded update by going to Windows update.
Step 3) I went into

Consider that when the file name is too long, the MSI installer shortened this name, in this case, change to 'tinker' to 't... UH. " So I looked in the folder and the missing .mui files were there!
Step 7) I then changed the rights of all language files (in this case x86_microsoft-windows-t.. er.954955.resources_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6000.16748_en - us_fe0acb24d205d6e5 and x86_microsoft-windows-t er.954955.resources_31bf3856ad364e35_6.0.6000.16748_fr - fr_a08d9e07c4fedeec) as described in step 4.
Step 8) I copied the .mui files in the respective language files in the directories in the appropriate language of Tinker.
Run the game and it works.
Jeez.
The only thing that remains is to create a shortcut in the games by ctrl-shift-drag and drop Panel executable Tinker in the list of games. I take it this isn't like the original shortcut however since there is no note for her? ...

Microsoft Tinker does not work
Hi, I installed the game Microsoft tinker comes today of Windows Ultimate Extras, but it won't let me to run it. When I am playing the game from the game folder is the splash of a black screen and nothing else. I had downloaded the Publisher Microsoft Tinker and don't like it and so I uninstalled it and I lost the game. I need to know how to retrieve. Can someone help me out here? I tried to get answers from other sites of computer on their forums, but nothing so far.

Windows Update stopped to retrieve updates
I have Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit on a Dell Studio 450 desktop.
The system came with Vista SP1
After the initial installation whether you walk through the name of machine etc., I started to do the Windows updates

I have a litigate Microsoft windows 7 Ultimate in original packaging with a valid key. I tinker with my computer a lot so I reinstalled windows several times on this system over the years. Usually after that things are starting to slow down, I reformat and install fees. The installation worked and activation has been flawless. This last installation activation window came and said... "The product key you enter was blocked from using Microsoft. Is there a limit to how many times you can reinstall windows 7?. How can I get my valid key, I paid for reactive?

Tinker has continued to record on my profile
I played the game for awhile handyman and has achieved progress, but suddenly I'm stuck, which means, I opened the game connect to Live, load my progress and play a part and quit the game. So when I come back it's still there where he was. A less demanding person might try to use a sneaky method to access a web page that is incriminating but if your concern is that any HTML file is inherently a security risk then everything on the internet must be avoided with this logic.
