Microsoft USB wheel mouse + Windows 7 Pro: mouse crashes after sleep. __

Remember - this is a public forum so never post private information such as numbers of mail or telephone!

I disabled power saving * everything * ports USB + Hub + devices. The only way I can remedy this problem is to unplug the mouse from the USB port and then plug it in again. The system reports reload the driver and the mouse works up to the next frequency of sleep. Pilot mouse in date 21/06/2006, version 6.1.7600.16385 is indicated by the system to the most recent. I appreciate the energy saving, but I wouldn't really do it every time. Any help? Thank you.

This sounds like a hardware problem, or more likely an OS problem?

    Hello

The easiest way to check if it s a hardware or software problem is to use the Toshiba Recovery CD.
On this CD, all drivers, Microsoft tools, utilities and patches are preinstalled.
But if you use the Microsoft original windows, you must install all stuff of Toshiba in the right order

  • IEEE 1284 PARALLEL USB driver in Windows XP Pro SP3 problem

I have a max system pc which has no parallel printer port and is designed to run Windows 7 or Windows XP pro. I installed XP pro. I had bought the wrong cable (USB to DB25) and inadvertently installed a driver for it that was only compatible with Win98 or me. Now, I have the right parallel to USB cable and when XP detects and tries to install it, it stands automatically and asks this Win98 / ME .inf file that does not work. Technical Support for the cable has told me to update the USB Mainboard drivers, however, is not available for download from the manufacturer of the motherboard. I think that there is something stuck in the registry that keeps pointing to this file .inf that is not valid. I want to know how to update or delete it the register so I can get a clean reinstall the driver for the IEEE 1284 cable. Thanks in advance

See if you can see what he listed as a hidden device when its not connected.

Panel system and launch of open control. Click the Advanced tab. Click the environment variables button. Click the new button at the top under user variables. In the name of the variable type: devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices. In variable value, type 1. Click OK, click OK again.

Click on the Hardware tab, click the Device Manager button. Click view on the top menu and select "Show hidden devices" in the list.

Now expand the + box next to Ports (COM & LPT). If you can see the device listed there, right-click on it and select Delete.

If you were able to remove it from this way, you should be able to plug the new peripheral and prompted for the drivers in the usual way.

Usually, I found that this happens when installing .NET updates - if you give the machine 20 or so minutes to regroup and then restart, the problem disappears usually.

  • Windows 7 Pro 64 disabled after the system crash

Hello. My active 64-bit Windows 7 system crashed this morning with the Blue Screen of Death. Restart is not possible - message "Bootmgr is missing" came. I used the repair disk, I did when I got to the computer to fix the boot sector and was able to start normally. But now Windows 7 is described as not authentic; previously, there has been properly activated. I tried to activate the system again, but received error messages, including 0xC004C003 which apparently means that the serial number is already in use. It's - it's mine!

Some googling led me to try a system restore.  I tried a restore point of more recent, just system restore before updating to the latest version of Windows. It gave me the error message that the system restore did not finish and system files have been updated - 0xc0000022.

In addition to searching led me to try from the command prompt (in as an administrator) "sfc/scannow". Who successfully completed reports that no violations not found and no file system not necessary change.

Can anyone suggest how now can I reactivate my copy of Windows 7 Pro?  Apparently I left three days in which to do!

    Give a try:

If this does not work, try the following:

How to activate Windows 7 manually (activate by phone)

    1) click Start and in the search for box type: slui.exe 4

    (2) press the ENTER"" key.

    (3) select your "country" in the list.

    (4) choose the option "activate phone".

    (5) stay on the phone (do not select/press all options) and wait for a person to help you with the activation.

    (6) explain your problem clearly to the support person.

  • Windows 8 Pro boots slow after windows updates

I have a PC I built a year ago to game, and I've recently updated to Windows 8 by formatting the hard drive and installing Windows 8 Pro OEM on my gaming PC. I installed the OEM version, because I had to get a new drive hard that had nothing installed on it and it needed a new operating system installed on it. It worked fine on Windows 8 for some time, about a month, until I installed updates to Windows that were made available, and after they have been installed, the next time that I turned off and turned on my PC, the startup was significantly longer than the last time. It doesn't when I start now it goes to the black screen with the clear blue windows symbol, but the circle dotted which indicates that initialization is in progress is going much more slowly than before until I installed updates to Windows. It takes about 5 to 8 minutes to start now, where it used to take about 10-15 seconds before start. I checked all my gear and this is very good, and I even ran chkdsk /r and sfc/scannow to check errors of software in a command prompt, but nothing is. Nothing else happens when it doesn't start, another that it starts more slowly than before, no error screens or messages. My computer does not have problems to start, especially for my equipment I have, which is upscale, since this is a gaming PC, compared with the normal work or personal computers, and like I said before, it used to start very well until the last group of windows updates.

    Here are the specs
Tough - 1 TB SATA 7200 RPM drive
CPU - AMD FX-4100 Quad Core 3.6 GHz
    GPU - AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB GDDR5
    Power supply - 600W
    Motherboard - Gigabyte GA-M68MT-S2

Someone at - it solutions, or everyone knows these same questions? I would like to solve this, because it's a huge disadvantage to wait 5 minutes for a simple boot. I don't know what update is causing this, I installed several updates of the same day.

  • The Windows Vista startup disk crashes after the screen "loading files".

I am trying to install Windows Vista on a new computer. • Windows Media Player 12 crashes after each track when ripping a CD, then crashes at the end of the disc.

I've recently updated to Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate - it was clean install and most things work very well. One of the most common things that I do on my PC is rip CDs and Windows Media Player 12 seems much slower to do what Windows Media Player 11 on Vista. The big problems I have are:

1 after each track has reached 100%, WMP12 freezes, said the top of the window (not responding) and after about 30 seconds, it moves to the next track.

    2. This continues for each track, until it reaches the last track of the CD - when it reaches 100% on this one, it freezes again and still average forever (or at least until that my patience runs out!). Then I have to close WMP12 that triggers a dialog box saying "the program is unresponsive"-choose "Close the program" and closed WMP12. When I restart my album WMP12 was torn with success. Adding album art using the right click "paste Album Art" feature is just as slow compared to WMP11 on Vista.

Please note: I initially thought that these delays were because the destination music folder Rip is a drive network hard (although WMP11 was ok with that) so I changed the destination music Rip in a local folder - C:Users\Public\Music - and the fault still happening.

Does anyone - especially someone of Microsoft - can help with this. Using WMP12 was one of the things I was most excited by my Windows 7 upgrade and it's really disappointing.

    Thank you

    Brett
