Microsoft Windows Tech Support - fake phone call or not?
I got a phone call from someone who wanted typing me eventvwr and watch errors and warning signs - I did. I noticed that they were that all dated the previous day or just before the phone call. I was asked to have malicious bugs deleted by this PROVIDER of SUPPORT of MICROSOFT WINDOWS TECHINICAL for £79. The person says his name is Michael and his phone was quoted as 02034117907.
My virus package pick up any info - however, errorfix now has up to 3,000 privacy, whenever I use it's about 4 times a day.
Help please - does anyone know if the call was authentic or not and any ideas on the reasons of privacy now is off the scale!
Thank you
FAKE!

A red circle that appears when you miss a phone call will not go away? Any ideas?
A red circle that appears when you miss a phone call will not go away? Any ideas?
Hello
If I am not mistaken, you see a red circle when you miss a phone call that you would like to go. If this is the case, you can simply open the app phone on your iPhone and wait 10 seconds, and then return to your home screen. In doing so, the iPhone think that you have viewed your missed calls, once you see the red circles will disappear. If you're still having problems, this can be a problem and a simple reboot will help. Here's how you can restart your iPhone:
- Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears
- Drag the slider to turn off your iPhone
- Once the iPhone is off, press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Apple logo appears.
I hope this helps.

* Original title: Microsoft kb3134214
The update of Microsoft Windows KB3134214 file is suspended and will not be, nor finish the rest downloads to install. I downloaded the updated individual security file. I'll wait to install pending a possible resolution here. If anyone has experienced this problem and has a resolution, I would be grateful to receive information and repair.
Hi Nathalie,.
Thanks for the reply and the link to the article. I appreciate it. While I was not having trouble to download updates, it was one of the update of the files froze during installation. I had gel resulting set before your answer.
I'm not sure what I did to fix it, but the installed annoying file itself. Here are the steps I took to learn that annoying file has been installed:
"I restarted my computer.
"then stop it showed that he was trying to install the file again
"I hit the reset button on my machine.
"My machine is restarted, I received the message that my machine was not correctly stop and choose Safe mode or start normally.
"I chose boot normally.
"Somewhere during the start-up, something installed or flashed a message
"My system automatically restarted by itself.
"On my screen, my computer displays a message saying it was set up my system.
'My computer restarted again
"Back to my login screen, I had a repeat of the previous message from my computer's configuration.
"After that over, I arrived at my office
"I've manually run Windows Update
"After Windows Update, I checked the files available, disabled the original file in question and click the button install.
"These files correctly installed and gave a message requesting to restart."
"I rebooted my system manually.
"Back in my office, I manually tried to install the file in question.
"It gave me a message that it was already installed.
How he installed himself is a mystery. Other than on the first attempt to update my machine, it has NEVER included in my another attempt to update. Anyway, my machine is purring along as if nothing had happened.
You can mark my question.
Thanks for your help,
Robert

Fake phone call from 424-253-4445
Hello James,.
I would really appreciate your insight to a phone call that I received concerning malicious information, I was told, on my computer.
Naturally, I am very curious when I receive a call on my phone number at home of an unknown number. The woman I spoke to said she is a representative for windows and asked me to go on my computer to erase the harmful activity. I explained my concern about my concern, thinking it might be a scam of some kind.
She gave me this number 424-253-4445, reassure me is it windows technical support. I noticed that I have more 2 500 kinds of activity which is harmful for my system.
Can you please tell me if you know something of this type of service through windows team support?
Thank you
Beth

It's absolutely a scam! No company like Microsoft, Apple, Dell or anyone else call you for any reason unless you call them.
There's a certain phone scams going on right now and if you have the caller ID, just look at the display and if you see "Microsoft" or if it is "Private" and that the appellant represents a computer company, ignore the call.
There are web sites that publish the fake pop-up messages indicating that your computer has problems and a scanner. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, cela!
Windows 8/8.1 already has an anti-virus/anti-spyware program (Windows Defender) If you are not using anything else and it will cover you. I tested Microsoft Security Essentials (now called Windows Defender in Windows 8) for about three years and sometimes, if you get a web page infected, the web page is displayed as an empty and your web browser automatically updates your home page with a warning displayed. It does not work.
If you get a pop-up message that stays on the screen as mentioned previously, DO NOT click on it. Press CTRL + ALT + DEL and bring up the Task Manager and close all programs that appear as running. You can see the web browser nearby. Then you can close the Task Manager and open IE and if he asks me to restore your last session, say NO and go to the home page. You'll be fine right there. The pop ups are called "diversions" and locks your system.
Windows 8/8.1 will clean and optimize itself if you let on and intact for about 5 minutes. You will see the 'Flag' icon change a flag with a clock which means that it runs Windows updates, disk cleanup, Disk Defrag, and update/analysis of Windows Defender itself. You don't have to do anything.

Update IOS 10. Phone calls does not.
Yesterday, I downloaded IOS 10 for my iPhone 6.
When I now phone calls, others cannot hear me on the phone. I can hear the person I talk to a fine, but they don't hear me. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, is it possible to fix it?
I'm also not a T-Mobile customer. I'm with Verizon.
Hello jackhahahahaha,
Thank you for using communities of Apple Support. It is my understanding that since the update to iOS 10, the other appellants are unable to hear you when you use your iPhone 6. Understanding can be the most important part of a phone call. I want to assure you that others are able to hear you clearly.
I recommend first restart your iPhone. This can solve many unexpected behaviours. Follow the steps below to restart, if necessary.
- Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears.
- Drag the slider to turn off your device completely off.
- Once the device turns off, press and hold the sleep/wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
Restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
If the problem persists, test the microphones on your iPhone and follow the "Get help" section in the link below.
