• HP laserjet CP2025 my printer does not recognize my spooler and I tried to remove and download the new drivers with no result. Help, please

  I had recent work done on my computer, which should not affect my printer, but it did.  My system won't let me download a new driver for my HP Laserjet CP2025. It gives me several spooler errors.  I tried the process to start, Control Panel, administrative tools, Services, and then there is no button print spooler Services click on. So in some way it obviously was wiped out when they saved my computer and installed the new screen. HP site doesn't let me download because it sites that this driver is installed with Windows 7. Any suggestions?

• Installed the new hard drive - now "OS not found"

  Hi, I recently installed a new hard drive in my laptop because the old hard drive was dead. So, I installed the hard drive and I am now installing the operating system using the Dell disk I received with my laptop. This is for the 32-bit window Vista and it says it should be used for re-installation of Vista. It was in a sealed envelope - so it has never been used.

  When I start the laptop and insert the disc, it just says: operating system not found.  I made sure the cd drive is the first in the startup list.  I also put the drive into another laptop and copied the files on a USB key.  Then tried to install it on the USB. No luck.

  I have run the system diagnostics, and it says that my hard drive and cd drive are recognized and functioning.

  The dell cd drive is not bootable?  Thanks in advance for your help.

  I was able to fix this on my own. It turns out that one of the files has been altered I discovered once I was finally able to get it to boot from a USB device.  I found the one window Vista installation disk other that I have with another computer laptop and used that. Worked well.

  This morning I went outside have certain documents printed in a local café. When I put my flash drive to the guy in the printer, I noticed something strange when it is plugged into your pc. When you open the windows disk rather than see my files and folders, that he opened with a single file - a shortcut file to be exact (noticeable by the arrow under the icon). The man seem not to be bothered by it and even double clicked on this shortcut until a new window opens showing now all my files and folders intact. If printing then. When I came home, I quickly checked my flashdrive immediately to plug I noticed that Avira blocked an autorun to start the disc. I know now that there is a virus because there is no software loaded on this flash drive (its nothing more than only 2 GB of removable disk space)... I scanned the entire disk and Avira detected nothing. It's weird because my av definitions are up to date, so I decided to change the point of view of file and unchecked "hide os important issue" and here he showed... by opening the disc, I saw a file autorun.inf along side another file unknown and invisible, sitting beside her... two of them is located next to the shortcut file visible. All my files and folders when moved to a folder super hidden in the disc... As a first step, that I do not have the trouble that I decided to delete these unknown files and split my files back into position and resume my day but when I arrived at the Home Office, I fell on my younger brother copy videos to a flash drive he borrowed from a friend and to my horror , I saw that the drive has been infected by the same and a fraction of a second before I can say the word ' Don ' t! "my brother click on the shortcut. A new window opens with the videos that my brother wanted to so eagerly watched. After that, I checked on the pc by plugging into an own flashdrive (my flashdrive office) and voila... He has been infected by the virus... as I've noticed that when I unplugged it and place all my files and folders disappeared and has been replaced by the single shortcut file. Alarmed... I did a system scan with avira and after an hour, it failed to detect the virus... I downloaded the scanner and still... He found nothing. I plugged an other flashdrive clean and as expected some virus infected, energetic, he. I've packed all these unknown files, including the autorun.inf in a rar archive and downloaded on virus total... all 40 scanners + alone... and I mean only ONE av (1) came in positive for... It was of dr.web... I was devastated... my pc is infected by a virus that spreads via removable drives and all leading anti-virus could not detect it... Please help me! Dr.Web he calls like Trojan.MulDrop4.25343... What I find really horrible, it's that I just couldn't find a way to stop it... I tried to find the root of the virus among the automatic startup items but this is not... I have tried disabling everything in msconfig (except microsoft services) and its still the same after I restarted the... Help, please
