  For about a week now, my pre was not auto-sync my Gmail IMAP e-mail messages. The situation is the following:

  • My Exchange account sync very well

  • I tried to empty my Inbox of mail and reduce the number of messages in my account

  I spent the last hours several read all the messages of the related forum I have found here and at precentral.net.  All the proposed solutions, I found did not work.

  Is there any type of activity or error log on the phone I can get access to?  At least know the specific error would help find a solution.  Other thoughts or insight would be greatly appreciated.

  Well, I don't know how, but after having removed all accounts on my Pre (manually), manually backing up what was left in my account from synergy/Palm profile, running WebOS Doctor once more and then manually, add all my accounts Gmail working again.  I can't say exactly what fixed it, but man, what a pain!

  Oh and on a side note - nice going with the EAS (Exchange) 2010 FAIL, Palm calendar.  I really appreciate this 'small' bug too. * Rant off *.

  It is a known problem with 9.3 and right now, Apple has not issued a fix. Workarounds include using another browser. People have reported that Opera and puffin both work but I have not experienced with them to know for sure. (and honestly what works for some doesn't work for others)

  There are also some success reported by the people who are in settings, safari, advanced and disabling java script.

  Ultimately the people just have to wait for a fix to come, and there is no timetable for when that will happen.
