  It's an ISO image then unzip the file and write the ISO image to a CD.

  Then restart the PC and booting with the CD. To do this, you must change the priority/boot order in the BIOS to boot from the CD first.

  I have no channels of port FC or FC enabled link mode. Interconnection of fabric is EHM.

  If I was a developer (or you have always wanted to be), or had friends in Prod Dev, I would not distract here (so you call a warning).

  I need to know Oracle Health Sciences inform build number (aka minor version number?) without having to install the product.

  It is a dotted version number normally observed in properties extended to most recent or dll, as well as files exe in 'about system' - like 6.1.0.1.1009, for example.

  I need to know this '1009' part to install the package I will or will not be installed.

  It is not mentioned in the release notes and not tied the number of patch in the name of the archive downloaded.

  I tried to decompress data {#} .cab manually to check a few binary, but it must be a new format of InstallShield, so 7-zip and deballeurs as Universal Extractor cannot deal with it.

  It sounds ridiculous that I need to spend hours to build a full blown server and installing a product just to get acquainted with this thing.

  I must be missing something trivial (but see warning).

  I'm OK with any solution - a link to the reference doc that lists built for versions 6.X or a patch number formula (if it exists), or a tool confirmed to unpack this version of Oracle CAB format is used to inform these days.

  In my opinion, there are very few benefits to be integrated into the vmkernel, is one of the benefits of running in a virtual machine that is not depends on the version of the hypervisor.

  For example, you can run the latest version of Nutanix with vSphere 5.5, is not possible with VSANS since its related to the version of the hypervisor.

  Cons - Nutanix is more flexible, interact with the other hipervisors (XEN and Hyper-V)

  XEN is not taken in charge but AVS (a version of KVM), Hyper-V and all supported versions of vSphere. (Possibly other hypervisors in the future)

  I sent a 2 cluster nodes VSAN on a remote site with a main witness VSAN device located in the data center.

  I usually see latency between 55 and 60 ms between VSANS storage nodes and the witness device... just a little more the 50ms published requirement.

  Of course this will raise an error as much stock of health VSAN is concerned.

  The VSAN itself seems to work fine, at least superficially.

  What is the maximum acceptable value for the latency?

  I have to find another place to host the witness device so that I can reduce the latency of less than 50 ms, or I can continue to operate in this mode?

  Finally, assuming that 60ms latency is tolerable, can I change health check test to be just a little more tolerant of increased latency results?

  This is a known issue, I posted this some time ago and it should be fixed with the next update, you can ignore the warning. 500 ms is the threshold for ROBO and 200ms to stretched. Sorry about that,

  Glad it worked! I managed to solve the rest of my problem get the plugin loaded as well.  Layout rhttpproxy.cert solved the problem with health-tr/min-post-install completed successfully.  But after you start the vmware-vsan-health service, health in the web client page loaded yet never buttons such as 'enable '.

  I checked /var/log/vmware/vsan-health/vmware-vsan-health-service.log and noticed it was spamming 'Could not open a session in VC, retry in 10 seconds' over and over again.  So I went digging in the python source in /usr/lib/vmware-vpx/vsan-health. I managed to understand that when you start the web service that hosts the plugin, it tries to connect to vCenter using own vCenter SSL certificate and the private key (rui.crt and rui.key) in/etc/vmware-vpx/ssl. On my VCSA, the permissions of that file looked like this:

  Notice the difference of the Group property on the associated files cert and change of 600 to 640 permissions.  When I saw that, I have also remembered seeing in the vsan firstboot script that the vsan-health user was added to the cis group.  As soon as I did my broken VCSA permissions corresponds to vanilla, the service has started and all this work began.  I guess the reason that my permissions were leech is a bug with the replacement of SSL scripts.  One of the first things I do on my vCenter is updating the SSL certificates with those customized PKI infrastructure.  I guess that process currently does not work quite right and live the permissions on files that is not replaced.

• Health Plugin HCL vSAN

  I just the vSAN health Plugin installed and when I check the 'Health' tab under vSAN that I get a warning to the driver controller firmware version on my system against what is on the HCL.

  The server is a Dell R730xd with the PERC H730 mini (which is on the HCL list).  The warning seems unjustified and that the name of the driver in use is not upward with the name listed in the HCL.

  In short, typo in the HCL list causing an unnecessary warning?

  I enabled VSANS on the cluster, but the task of updating VSAN configuration failed with the below error

  Operation failed, the diagnostic report: not associate the host to the cluster VSAN (Exec command "/etc/init.d/vsanvpd restart" succeeded, but came back with zero State: 1).

  On all esxi hosts 3, I can see a warning

  I'm starting to get a little frustrated not to be able to evaluate the beta version of vSAN.

  I registered my company e-mail account as soon as I heard it was available.  I received an email inviting me to the community. From the beginning, I assumed that everyone was waiting like me for the download of provision and then I learn from a VMware employee at a conference I should have access already.  Attempts to use the e-mail link to the community never show that I'm "not allowed" so I sent to the mailbox of Bishop community for assistance.

  No word back within 5 days or more since then, but I got a repeat of the original welcome e-mail today telling me that the download is available and everything I need to do is to use a registered community login (the one against whom I've already signed one off WARNING etc.)

  I'm always told that I am not authorized to access the community.

  What is an interested party to evaluate this product please?

  I suggest you load the file source instead. As cardan2 said all the class in the database files MUST be compatible with the internal JVM used by the database. For 11g versions it is Java 1.5 and the major version in the 1.5 Java class files is 49.

  You also have to take the same version in account number if you need load all the jar files in the DB. That the load will be successful if these classes have been compiled for a later version of compatibility of Java. ;

  If you load the source file and compiling the virtual machine JAVA DB will be used and you will not get this exception. You will also make sure that you use the correct support classes; for example, classes for the JDBC driver that you import will be versions of the JVM and those will NOT be the same as those of ojdbc6.jar.

  You must ensure that you are not currently using the JDBC classes or features that are not available in the version of DB of the driver.

  Using Java and JDBC in the database means that you might be able to take advantage of the internal JDBC driver for Oracle. Refer to the chapter "Server - Side internal Driver" of the Dev Guide JDBC for more details.

• PiPL version mismatch warning and code

  Hey, I was hoping that someone could help me understand the PiPL versions.  I had some problems with a warning flag when I apply my plugin in sequels, getting a warning flag that says:

  "effect a version mismatch.  "The code version is 2.0 and PiPL version 2.0 (108600) (25: 16).

  It is a pretty useless message as 2.0 is 2.0.

  I found that I can get the error to go away if I dutifully replicate the header and versioning pipl found on the adobe sdk examples, but it's kind of annoying and I would like to understand better.

  To load without error, my PiPL resource looks like this:

  I guess the version 'code' means the warning is a concatenation of the major and minor versions, and it seems the version "PiPL" says the warning comes from AE_Effect_Version (1048577) and NOT AE_PiPL_Version (2.0).

  If I change THE values in the plugin header (not just major/minor versions), I get the warning.  So I suspect that the number of AE_Effect_Version is a sort of a hash of all the version information (major, minor, bug, scene, build versions), and the warning is a bit misleading.

  Can someone explain more about this number, 1048577?  Is this some sort of hex value?  Thank you!
