Missing camera profiles

When I'm in Raw worm 6.3.0.79 and go in the Calibration of the camera, I only get the choice of generic Canon under the camera profile. How can I get the profile for my Canon 50 d in there?

The situation you describe is normal.  As stated earlier, profiles provided by Adobe is not the name of the camera in them when listed in ACR and LR, because they're all at your camera.

You can create your own profiles using DNG Converter from the laboratory Adobe profile and an X-Rite Color Checker or X-Rite Color Checker passport which combines software and corrector of color.  When you create your own profiles you can name them what you please.  You could also decompile the profiles of the Adobe with something like dcpTool and insert your name in these copies.

I used to have a bunch of profiles of Adobe in the Calibration of the camera until I upgraded to LR CC 2015.6. Now, it is only a default option and it says "matrix". How can I get all of these profiles as Standard, neutral, faithful, landscape, etc. back?

I have a Canon EOS 7 d mark ii so that camera profile should be recognized.

    Mike

I have this camera and use LR CC 2015.6 and continue to have all the camera profiles expected.

See 'matrix' usually means the profile files, themselves, are missing or inaccessible.

If you're on a PC, you can review it to see if the profile files are still there:

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Lightroom\Resources\CameraProfiles\Camera\Canon EOS 7 d Mark II

To get them back to uninstall and reinstall, first LR CC 2015.0 then updating, both available as a manual download from here:

  • My camera profiles are missing! Help!

I shoot with a Canon 5 d Mark II RAW. I use Lightroom 3. All of a sudden I can't find my camera profile settings in the develop Module in the camera calibration Panel. They used to be there and now they are gone. "2010" is selected under the bar of the process, but only matrix stands as my available camera profiles. What I did to make them disappear? I can't think of something that I cannot do. Did not much except edit photos and now my profiles are missing! How can I get my rear camera profiles?

Well, I was thinking something mewer too. In any case, reintalling

  • GO CRAZY! ACR camera profiles

When I open a raw file with my d700 in ACR, I get all sorts of custom from the dropdown options camera profile. When I open a file with my D750, they are all gone, except for the half dozen standard (Adobe, neutral, Portraits, etc.).

    WTF I'm missing here?

Profiles are specific to each camera model, so if you bought for the D700, then you would probably need to buy them, once again, for the D750, if they still exist for this camera.  Addition profiles there are a set of predefined settings that also apply in conjunction with the profiles, if I remember correctly.

  • In acr camera profiles

I can't find my camera profiles in acr... shows that the matrix. I've used them in the past, but now they are gone.

Other that reinstall PES 11, you can try running 7.4 dng converter Installer, which needs to be reinstalled all profiles.

Who knows, it could be a corrupted file or a missing in profies camera folder.

  • Missing camera problem - cannot export (share options greyed out)

    I'm under El Capitan 10.11.3

    10.2.3 FCPX

    I7 MacBook retina (2012)

    8 GB RAM

I worked on my calendar, creating several minutes of content.  In the background as well as media files import and transcoding, I noticed that all my stock options were grayed out.  I learned that I stumbled upon import of problems due to the lack of space on my external hard drive as they are for most of the 4K files.  I understand that when you work with 4K you can work, but you must wait until all transcoding of files before exporting a show.

I also made the mistake to rename some of the clips in the bin case after being placed on the timeline (I think this might be part of my problem).

This combination of import to a drive with enough space to allow the final transcoding with name change has created a lot of clips of CAMERA MISSING - so NO the ability to share.

I bought a larger capacity drive and copied all the files in the new storage of 2 TB.

One - I do an import/reimportation of camera/player.  (in some cases if it does not work - I am again an import - then try to link)

I am finally able to exit then restart and see FCPX that my changes TAKE so I think I'm on the right track.  Sharing options are grayed out still, but I think that once all are properly reassociated on the timeline, I should be ok - right?

    Here are my questions:

Why not see problems with my events (no yellow warning sign) everything seems fine - I can change but can not export?  Sharing options are still grayed out?

Then if I stop/restart FCPX - all yellow and Red warnings lack of cameras back.  I thought I solved the problem, but sometimes getting rid of missing camera is a big chore.  I'm on the right track?

Thank you very much for your help!

It is important to allow the import of the whole process independently of the clips - not only 4 K resolution. And part of this process is transcoding if you choose optimize. So I think you're on the right track - you have files with incomplete optimized versions. Suggest that you select your clips in the browser, right-click > transcode media and create optimized media. Open the window of background tasks and monitor if transcoding is started and if it ends.

Post back and let us know whether or not exporters continues to be a problem.

  • Lightroom can't change the photos of mark IV 5 d in 1DS camera profiles

May I ask on Lightroom camera profiles? I can't change the photos of mark IV 5 d in 1DS camera profiles. When I tried to change it, the color saturation is very low, as black and white photos.

Before I used Adobe DNG Converter & DNG Profile Editor to make my own Canon 1DS camera profiles. The effects of the 1DS the color profiles that surrounds the peoples were adorable. It was a success with 5 d mark III.

But now, using the new camera 5 d IV. I followed the steps of old, using DNG Profile Editor to open it and then choose Canon 1DS DCP to export. The effects of saturation of color does not become as before. It turns very low over the DNG Profile Editor, when I tried to export a new dcp 1DS file in lightroom, looks still very low color saturation.

I would ask if anyone has come across such a problem...

I hope that someone can help and can solve my problem.

    Thank you!

someone already answered my question. The answer is: in the DNG profile editor just add + 1 saturation (any button of saturation), it goes back to normal.

    Thank you all!

  • How to create a camera profile that works with a JPG image with my color chart to check inside? [was: color Checker chart.] Really need help]

I got a color chart to check. It came not with any software whatsoever. I shoot my images in JPG format. I know it's not really ideal but I'm on a tight budget and don't have the money for a digital SLR cameras that shoot raw. Is there anyway that I can always create a camera profile that works with a JPG image with my color chart to check inside? My table also includes RGB values below each color. Maybe I can match each color in the photo these values manually? If so how is this done?

    Thank you

    Bryce

I've never seen software that does what you ask for JPGs, only RAWs.  The main problem is that any profile or adjustment is calculated according a JPG of a particular chart photo would apply to the other JPG photos with the same white balance.

Jpg does not use "camera profiles" anyway in Lightroom, the profile is always integrated.

There is a product that allows to calculate the HSL cursor offset values given a JPG photo their own table owner who looked like a color checker, but had two lines reversed so the software could not be used with a standard-checker color, unfortunately.  Now their table has twice as many patches (48), and looking at it on their site I'm not too sure that it does not always work with JPGs or if she's just raw files, now.

The graphic and software are called SpyderCheckr of Datacolor.  There are various software that do different things, but none are using a ColorChecker, so having one is mainly a loss until you get a camera that can take raw photos, so keep a humidity and temperature controlled environment as much as possible until you have the right camera.  You can probably use the grey patches to adjust exposure, but that's all.

Today you need not a digital SLR to have raw photos, well.  My phone Galaxy S6 with the last update of Marshmallow and the software of camera update will take photos in format raw DNG in Pro mode which I can create custom profiles camera to use a ColorChecker, although the camera is really good in itself, so when I found everything first he could make DNG I took a little but now, I usually just use the camera to make the jpg unless the shot is really important and the lighting is not too hard.  I think that S7 phone's camera is even better.

What kind of camera do you have?  Sometimes, there are firmware hacks that allow the camera to shoot raw format even if the standard camera cannot.

  • Problem of calibration of WB with 1DX Mark II camera profiles

It seems that the calibration of the WB's messy hair for the color simulation profiles 1DX Mark II manufacturer.

For example, a + 5100 17 WB value becomes 4300-13 when the profiles using colorimetric simulation manufacturer instead of Adobe Standard.

This should be a quick and easy solution to your software engineers, I guess?

    Thanks in advance!

I downloaded a sample 1DX Mark II file here: Canon 1DX II Image Test digital camera digital, camera

The ACE shot WB is 5350-21 Adobe Std and -4350 50 Std of the camera, but the World Bank is the same for both. Using the pipette WB I get 5700-19 Adobe Std and 4650-47 with correct WB (R = G = B). Clearly the 'Caméra' profiles are incorrect to WB settings should be the same as the Standard Adobe. My Canon 300 d, 600 d, and 5 d MKII all show the same WB As Shot or parameters when you use the pipette WB.

    Surrephoto wrote:

However, after having tasted a white area or map using the pipette WB, the value is locked regardless of the profile used and will result in wrong WB if you switch between these profiles.

I'm not sure what you mean by "value is locked." When you use the pipette WB it changes the settings of temperature and tint values. If you change the profile of the camera should not change the settings of the WB. The issue is due to different WB settings in the 'Camera' profile vs Adobe Standard profile.

I modified the 1DX Mark II camera Standard profile using Adobe DNG Profile Editor (DPE) as below and values is now about the same (±50 Temp, tinted ±1) to the values for the parameters "As Shot" and pipette Adobe Standard WB WB. Since I don't own a Canon Mark II 1DX I suggest you report the problem here: https://feedback.photoshop.com/photoshop_family.

I'm new to Mac, but I am trying to install a profile of the camera for lightroom

  • Remove the calibration of camera profile

I experimented with ColorChecker Passport of XRite and created several camera profiles.  I have one, I am satisfied and I'll delete the rest of

    C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles

    as described elsewhere.

QUESTION: What happens if there are still images that use one of the deleted profiles?  Will they get just "Adobe Standard" applied, or this (reference to non-existent profile) will cause a problem in the catalog database?

I decided to try this by the movement of old profiles out of the folder (do not remove) with Lightroom does not, then from Lightroom

The answer is that the image returns to the camera's ' Adobe Standard' profile.

How to set the default settings of the camera profile standard (now available after downloading the camera profile and copy it into the appropriate file)? Is it possible to apply too in images showed in the bridge? I'm a newbie in the forums and I'm not sure how to proceed.

You can right click and copy the settings on an image that has the right profile. Then highlight all the images that you want to edit, right click and paste the settings. On the list that is displayed, simply choose the camera calibration.

    Hello

I just installed Lightroom 6 and I find two versions profiles for Nikon D4S.

Example, there are the profile " " Standard camera" and the profile " ""standard camera v2 "." That means this version 2 of the camera Profile?

    Tank you

There have been second versions of profiles for some cameras. The first profiles do not meet the needs of the users, so a second profile was created. The original has been preserved for those who have used the profile and wanted to continue to do so.
