  I am a student with 10g express come with our manual. WinXp SP3 installation went perfectly and I can perform all necessary queries from the command line, no problem. The Publisher provides SQL scripts related to the topic of the chapter that creates users and data to the Chapter exercises. When I go to the home page of database and the attempt to run a query, I can change the alias, insert conditions and do something else with the record, but when I hit the drop down arrow to function there is nothing there, no list. I was back on the chapters dealing with installation thinking I missed some settings but I get empty. AY help would be appreciated.

  Function will be visible only if you open a session with the same user that you used when creating function - when you run the scripts provided by the Publisher.

  My laptop was a dual boot with windows XP SP3 and ubuntu

  Like JoseIbarra said, it could be that the virus has caused your folders/files/programs show hidden.  I suggest checking to see if they are there, after doing the following:

• My system hangs during startup "for the first time" after running the system recovery.

  No error message, in itself; just a screen frozen on reboot.

  Months, my computer has suddenly started glitching on me.  I stopped and tried a reboot.  The system froze on start with flying colors.  System recovery tried several times but must have made a mistake because he wouldn't.  Resolved to buy a new hard drive and reinstall from the recovery disks.  Delayed unnecessarily until today, months later.

  Before you buy a new hard drive, has decided to relaunch the system recovery.  It worked!  I tried the option that has deleted everything and restored to the software and factory settings.  Everything seemed to work like a charm: hard drive reformatted, reinstalled software, the system prompted me to reboot.  Yes, I did.  Windows started to boot, "Preparting your computer for first use of Setup" appears... and freezes.  For hours.  Hard drive led is off.

  BTW, made sure the button Wi - Fi was on what I read on the problems of recovery if it was turned off when the program is run.

  Restarted.  Press F11.  A ran maintenance and checked the hard disk for errors.  There are errors.  Unfortunately, the default setting of CHKDSK does not repair them.   A opted for a command line.  RAND CHKDSK again with option '/ f/r' seen in other posts.  Here I am too ignorant to get the program to run properly, I guess.  I ran CHKDSK on the two player X and C.  No error found... sort of.  I know they exist because the system will not start.  (Yes, I tried again.)  Return to the command prompt, I tried to run CHKDSK on the drive C again.  This time I got a message that I must first dismount (remove?) the reader.  As I don't know what that means, I opted for the 'no' and have decided to post this help message.

  So.  Suggestions on what do I do then?  More specifically: How do CHKDSK to fix the errors it found?  I think the message was: "errors in $130 of the sector...". "It shows this message two times at the end of 62%.  Freezes for a long time.  Gets will still only slow down to a crawl again around 70%, but no longer.  Then returns to the start of system recovery screen.

  System recovery ran again for the pleasure.  Again, seemed to work like a charm.  Unfortunately, the laptop again sits frozen at "Preparing... for first use" screen again.  It heats more turns.  The audible fan works now plans higher... If none of this helps.  I am stopping and waiting for your advice.

  My apologies for the delay to return to you.  Believe you that computer gremlins have not hit my very stable desktop which has been fine for years with sudden instability driver?  McAfee thanks for this most recent update!

  In any case, after several diagnoses and find the hard drive has failed in each of them, I decided to install a new copy of Windows 7 as a test while I wait for my upcoming recovery disks in the mail.  I did it by removing all partitions on the drive and do a fresh install.  Here again, everything seemed to go well until that (apparently) a certain area of the drive was used to save/installation of the files.  Even after CHKDSK runs several times (each time he repaired several defective sectors but stalled after only 10% of the disk) the system will become unstable - the last number being a blank screen after logging on to Windows.  So, all in all, epic fail on the side of the hard drive.  The new drive is installed and waiting for my recovery disks.

  Thanks for all your suggestions.  They have been a great help with information, but not with the results because of the training.

  You will need to build a script for integration that is an import Script that allows you to import data from SQL in FDM.

  When you create your import format, you will need to configure it with the file Type = Script and then assign the script of integration as an Expression. Assign your import format to the location that you use to import data.

  Then you can test it by going to the import stage and clicking the import button. FDM will run the integration script and data import by running the SQL query that you have defined.

  To the contrary, "Data Pump" import Scripts are used as import expressions in the import formats

  You can run a script to integrate the customer that this script requires input parameters that are passed only when then FDM import step is executed. If you want to see the raised error open the errorlog FDM.   The problem is that $_POST ['org_pk'] comes from the previous page. $_POST and $_GET variables are sent only to the next page. They are not kept indefinitely. For example, when the form is submitted, $_POST ['org_pk'] no longer exists.

  To work around this problem, add the following line somewhere inside your form:

  It stores the value of $_POST ['org_pk'] in a hidden field and include in the array $_POST when sending the form.

• HPC for Excel - get the exception when running the diagnostics

  I was wondering if anyone would be able to provide assistance with the issue I am dealing with the help of HPC (2012 R2) for Excel (2016).

  I started a new Setup and all made in the paper, as shown here on the Microsoft Web site: start with HPC server (this site is not allow me to paste the link here). I have a test cluster consisting of 1 head node, 1 compute node. The domain controller is on a separate server. All have Windows Server 2012 R2 64-bit installed and installed using the deployment of Excel 2016 32-bit Office tool. I have installed HPC Pack 2012 R2 Update 3 on the head node and compute node. The problem is when I run the Test of the Excel of Diagnostics of HPC Cluster Manager Configuration, the test fails for the two nodes (i.e. the head and calculation). For the head node, I get an exception with a long error message that ends with some problem with "ExcelClient.Dispose". On the compute node, the error is that she could not invoke service 'Excel '.

  I think I have done everything exactly according to the instructions and followed other steps that have helped me in a successful test deployment. Any help to understand what I am doing wrong will be greatly appreciated!

  When you create a new application to your specification to Build, you must set the 'Pass all arguments for application command line' in the Advanced tab.

  Usually an update of the BIOS of your models support page will create the files in HP_Tools. For the rest, you probably need to reinstall using recovery discs. Phone HP for those. "Choose your country and then search for ' call HP" option to the page with the info.

  Recently, I am experiencing problems with my HP Pavilion dv6, so in order to solve these problems, I have decided to use the HP Recovery Manager to restore the factory specifications it is. I was committed to do when I realized that I didn't have a way to back up my personal files (I don't own an external hard drive, nor enough empty disks).

  After reading this post , I learned that I can save my files to a partition in the HARD drive.

  (Hope I'm clearly so far)

  It turns out that I have 3 drivers of partition (C :), (d) and (e).)

  

  My question is; If I temporally copy my personal files (d :) or readers (E :), they will always be there after that I completed the recovery operation?))

  D: is your recovery partition, and no file should be backed up/saved there. Saving files it can cause the recovery fails.

  E is probably the small partition system used by Win 7 to start. Not a good idea to save it & probably not enough space anyway.

  Better to wait until you have an external source to backup the files.

  BTW, if using recovery disks for HP reinstall will erase all partitions and restore to the factory plug. Only recovery F11 or Recovery Manager in the menu start leash added partition intact.

• Missing data value on the export

  I use FDM v11.1.2.2, and I get an error during the export step. The message export shows that there is no value for the record. I put the data value for the location as < entity currency >, and I don't know why the dimension value is missing from the dat file that is produced. The adapter is FM11X-G6-A. I don't have any scripts in the application.

  Check the .dat itself and see if the value is there. There is a bug where the user HFM error log does not display the data value. The .dat should be printing If it is defined in the location. If it is printed in the .dat, the line can be an invalid intersection.

  This error is not related to the Services. Is that you installed the HFM client on server EN? Customer HFM automatically installs the driver required for the EN to connect to HFM.

• NEITHER 9481 relay are not locked when running the labview compiled exe on a computer with only installed labview execution?

  I recently bought a cDAQ-9172 with several modules.  One of the modules is a NI 9481 relay module.  I created an application using Labview and built an exe file.  If I run the exe on the computer, it was developed on the relays work properly, that is, they remain locked up until their status is changed.  If I run the same exe on a computer with only the Labview runtime installed (no software installed), the pulse relay contacts and not locked.  I'm using Labview version 7.1 for my development and execution.  Everyone knows about this problem?
