Missing menu bar 2.0 PlayBook
Just upgraded my Playbook to the last 2.0.0.4869 of 1.0 last version and I lost the entire menu bar that has the menu favorites.
Anyone know how I can get the menu...
I just wanted to update everyone, a security wipe fixed this problem and made me the 2.0 os on the playbook on reboot and some mandatory auto updates.

What Miss do you? For many items, ranging in the preferences system for the specific item and check XXX view in the menu bar should solve the problem. For example if you go to System Preferences/Time Machine, the option is at the bottom of the window.

Showing a Firefox button when the menu bar is not selected, it was a feature in the four Firefox via Firefox 28 versions. With 29 Firefox and later versions, there is no Firefox button - there is nothing displayed when the menu bar is hidden.

I chose reset when Shift and double click on the icon of the Office (and not in Safe Mode) and it worked. Someone had mentioned previously is not to do this, but it doesn't seem to be another option.
I lost all my Add-ons, but my favorites are there.
Essential is that it worked! I never knew so much grief trying to get something fixed. I think I might switch to another browser.

The space on top of the menu bar is missing
The space on top of the menu bar is missing. The tabs are right next to the orange "Firefox" button.
Firefox displays the Menu bar or the orange menu Firefox button.
If the Firefox window is maximized and the tab bar is on the top, then the tabs are drawn in the title bar.You can watch these prefs the topic: config page.
- browser.tabs.drawInTitlebar
- browser.tabs.onTop
The current versions of Firefox only show the menu entry "Tabs" at the top in the menu "view > toolbars" and in context menus if the tabs are not in the default position on the top.
If the tabs are on the top and the menu entry is not available and you want to move the tabs under the navigation toolbar, then you must return the pref browser.tabs.onTop false on the subject: config page.

functions of the menu bar missing?
I just noticed that when I turn off the menu bar function to use the Firefox drop-down list certain functions that appear in the menu bar are missing in drop-down screen for example file and view. If they are present, I can't find them or there at - it another way to access these functions without having to activate the menu bar?
You're right that not all functions of the bar menu old is in the new menu of Firefox. That's why we left the ability to switch back. If you don't need the old menu temporarily, hold down the 'Alt' key to activate it.

You can be full screen display mode, in the case of using keyboard key F11 supporting this point of view full screen switches on and outside.
If you are able to see the tab bar, then maybe it's that you're not used to the new versions that tend to use the FirefoxButton (usually) Orange at the top left. You will find methods to access the missing information by clicking the firefox button.

I just downloaded Firefox Ver 4.0 and have been customization - one thing I can't understand... I HAVE the menu bar (File, Edit, View, etc.), but the "Firefox" button (which indicates to your image 'customize' the first button before the menu drop down "File") is missing. I watched all I can think to add, but have had no luck.
For more details, the operating system is Vista (ugh, but I'm stuck with it for now).
Would love to help! Thank you very much.
To get the new interface, you need to hide the menu bar. Do, in the view menu, select Toolbars, then click on the entrance to the "Menu bar".
If you need to access the menus, you can press Alt or F10 to display temporarily.

menu bar missing in fullscreen
My menu bar is missing when I mouse over the top of the screen I 3.6.16, and FF when auto-hide full-screen mode. He is present in mode non-plein screen. I checked the view > toolbars > menu bar, but this does not solve the problem. Other toolbars, I selected are visible when checked. Please advise, thank you!
Mode full-screen by default in Firefox does not display the menu bar.
AutoHide has options for exactly what you want to display full-screen mode.
http://www.krickelkrackel.de/autohide/I've been using Autohide myself for 6 or 7 years, among the oldest and better due to extensions for Firefox.

Window drop down bookmarks on the menu bar is missing
My Favorites are not missing, because I can access it through the sidebar.
However, I prefer the drop-down list in the Menu bar for my favorites. It is easier for me.
The Favorites drop-down list box has disappeared and I can't determine how to restore it in the menu bar. The menu bar is always on display and not hidden... just not favourites.
Any help is appreciated.
CarlYou have the delicious extension installed?
If so, look at the Options of this extension that hides the Menu bar for bookmarks item.
