• missing GarageBand instruments after update

  After I updated Garageband to the latest version, I lost most of the instruments. Projects using, for example, "Harpsichord" always opens and plays well in Garageband 10.1.2

  But new projects in 10.1.1 do not have this tool available. I tried to download essential sounds, sounds available everything and reinstall Sound Library with no result. Thanks for any advice.

  GarageBand is not an instrument of the harpsichord by default.  There was an orchestra harpsichord installed by the Jam Pack 1 and logic added some harpsichords.

  Have you ever Jam Pack installed?

  How to Garageband 10.1.2?  Did you uninstall GarageBand 11?  If you have uninstalled any previous version of GarageBand before joining GarageBand 10.1.2 you may need to reinstall any JamPack you used, or old instruments of GarageBand 11.

  Harpsichord instruments will show in the legacy of your instrument library section, if they are still installed.

• Instruments of the sample of user-specific does not see EXS24

  Logic Pro X 10.2.0 EXS24 sees the Instruments of the sample in my folder/library specific to the user, but only those in the global folder/library.

  But Logic Pro 9.1.8 EXS24 can see both.

  Background:

  I had my mid-2010 27 "iMac running OS X 10.8.5 and Logic Pro 9.1.8 (as well as Logic Studio 7) I upgraded to El Capitan without incident. I bought and installed Logic Pro X on the App Store without incident.

  The menu of Logic Pro X EXS24 instruments shows that the Instruments that are in the global folder:

  Instruments of Macintosh/Library/Application Support/logic/Sampler

  The menu Logic Pro 9 EXS24 instrument shows the Instruments that are in both aggregate AND user-specific folders.

  The menu instrument show the structure of:

  Instruments of Macintosh/Users/me/Library/Application Support/logic/Sampler

  It adds an entry listed as 'Factory' under which it places the Instruments found in:

  Macintosh/Library/Application Support/logic/Sampler instruments.

  If I load a project in Logic Pro 9 that uses some of the Instruments found in the user-specific directory in Logic Pro X, Logic Pro X reports errors that he cannot find the instruments and gives no possibility to 'find' and opens the project with a bunch of sounds of the sinusoid default loaded instead of the missing instruments.

  You can see two directories with the Global Directory on the specific to the user on the right and the left in my attachments.

  I have also attached a picture of the EXS24 Instrument Menu in Logic Pro 9 and Logic Pro X.

  Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

  4. you can also try simply to drag the folder (in your Finder) and a session logical X. This * should * the entire folder to the index for you.

  5. you can always move the folders in your ~/Library (user) indexing question in your corresponding library/library/library indexing (root) folder.

  The Smart Control pane only controls the instrument on channel 1.

  Any specific way to have intelligent controls on other instruments on other Midi channels?

• HP EliteBook 8740w p/n VB744AV: Base model with only 2 RAM slots does not level up to 8 GB of RAM, 6 GB only?

  So I discovered that my laptop is a version of the basic model of the Elitebook 8740w so I'm missing 2 RAM slots. However, I went to upgrade my RAM from 4 GB to 8 GB the other day, and after ensuring all the RAM was split and firmly fixed my laptop would only flicker the lights indicating that my ports were dirty, RAM was split in correctly or I ordered the bad RAM sticks (which I didn't, I double checked). So I have of the 4 GB split into the slot of the RAM under the keyboard and replace one of the original 2 GB sticks in the other RAM more accessible location at the bottom of the computer. Laptop started fine. I'll try the RAM slot again later tonight when I get home from work, but if anyone has any experience with this issue, I'd love to hear corrections or explanations on what I can do wrong.

  I also want to note that I checked the specifications of the computer and it says that it should support the 8 GB of RAM or more. However I do not know if this is a generalization of the product since it usually comes with 4 vs slots of RAM upgrade only the 2 I have in my laptop.

  Quad Core versions have 4 RAM slots and Dual Core 2 slots. Max 32 gig and 16 gig respectively. Try the reslotting and let us know how it goes. 8 concerts must be OK, assuming that compatible. If the problem persists, please provide the manufacturer for both modules reference numbers.

  OK, so I've created the proxies and even tried to tie but how actually use them.  He always unable to go down to 1/8 ground and it does not play well so I defiantly don't actually use them.

  If you configure the settings to ingest to create a proxy each time you import a new clip in your project, you should be good. For older projects, you may need to go in the project Panel, select clips and then right click and create proxies. There are some things that Pr does not proxy for compositions of AE, stills, matts etc. For the rare case, I give just a glimpse.

  Worse, go into your proxy site, delete the batch and ignore the warnings of the first on the missing proxies and get the first to recreate proxies in the project Panel and go get a coffee (or 10) while coding things!

  I make my own custom proxy cineform ingest particularly convenient setting.   I put it to overlay and burn, bottom right, a png image with the word 'proxy' at 20% opacity. I can see immediately then what first uses a proxy file (switch sometimes seems to take a second or two to implement after pressing the button toggle in the preview monitor).

  On a final note, I would say that if you do not see many benefits with proxy servers, try using a different codec for your proxy - highly compressed formats such as h.264 are very demanding CPU on your computer - even at lower resolutions. Using a codec like Cineform, Avid DnxHD (or apples ProRes - well as not an option in the SOUL under Windows), which have been designed to be used as intermediate (or in your case as a proxy) codecs translates into larger files (but not question that can remove when the project is done) but much less CPU demanding which is excellent for editing. You will also find the cleaning and change of speed of the video is much more fluid than in these codecs that each image is coded separately and not in the groups of pictures (where the changes between frames are coded, so your computer must decode a large number of images at a time just to show an image) for codecs such as h.264.

  I am able to create the logical foreign key for table logic with A new (A.2 = B.2) (2 is calculated logical column).
  However there are still some physical join foreign key with the old constitution (A1 = B. 1). When I deploy this RPD, it generates sql with (A1 = B. 1) join condition.
  
  Then, I removed this RPD physical foreign key join and received a warning "logical dimension B has a source which don't happen with any fact table" in the consistency check.
  
  Always after the deployment of the Dre, I get the error message [nQSError: 14025] indeed no table exists at the level of detail requested: in the report.
  
  I'm missing something. The logical foreign key has join condition correct that he is still not on the physical join of riding.

  Based on your comments, I am looking at the documentation:
  I found a Note: a logical key to a fact table should consist of key columns that join the tables of attribute. Logical foreign key joins may be necessary if the Oracle's BI server should be used as an ODBC data source for some queries and third party reporting tools.

  I need to see why ODBC, and unlike the foreign logic key join is not the substitution of the physical layer to join.

  BTW: Since you want to go with a join defined using logical column, you can use the same expression in physical join using the expression builder?

• SQL Developer Data Modeler: logic model, impossible to create the arc

  I have a logic model in SQL Developer Data Modeler. Entity A has two 'incoming' relations of foreign entities B and C keys. The two releations have the same cardinality and optionality. I want to place the two relationships in an arc. I see the buttons in my menu to the toolbar, but they are not enabled. Even when I select the two relationships is not.
  
  What is the logic model for the relational model creates foreign keys. These foreign keys can be selected and when I do that the button "create a new arc" in the toolbar of the model relationship is enabled.
  
  What Miss me in the logic model...? The documentation does not give a clue.

  You must select the relationships and the entity, then the CRA buttons are enabled.

• Satellite Pro L50 does not start with 8 GB

  I have a brand new L50 Pro of Satellite (PSKK3A-001001)

  Config of RAM is default of 1 x 4 GB memory DDR3 12800 1 use slot 1 slot free
  I removed 4GB and install 1 DDR3L 12800 8 GB but it does not start.
  The form of State capacity 16 GB so with 2 slots logically, that means 2 x 8 GB cards.
  He also said DDRL, which I assume is the correct type.

  The 4 GB mark was Hynix and the 8 GB is Apacer.
  Anyone have a resolution on this or know what the problem is?

  On this forum you can find many threads where people describe similar problems. In most cases the problem is compatibility modules, especially if Ram needs to be upgraded with modules produced by different manufacturers.

  According to the specifications of the laptop you need DDR3L memory (1600 Mhz).
  Talk with your dealer and ask if there's Kingston compatibility module. Kingston offers high quality and 100% compatible memory modules.

• MathScript adds the row of table

  I recently encountered a problem using the MathScript that I don't understand.  When I create a simple table of dimension 1 and then access a single element in this array, MathScript and/or LabVIEW adds an extra line in this table.  This problem appears when I add the output for the MathScript structure array and create an indicator.  A VI sample that illustrates the problem I encounter is attached.  I have also run the same code MathScript in MatLab and the issue does not seem to occur.  Is there something that I am missing? Perhaps a logical reason and explantion for why LabVIEW for this?  I searched on the web, help and forums so far.  Any help is appreciated.

  My goal is to be able to access the items in a table without changing the dimensions of the table, or to manually remove the added row.

  In the line where you replace the 5th element of the array, if you say public (5) = 77, LabVIEW will not add the extra line. Almost everything in Mathscript if defined as a matrix. That's why you see size as 1.11. If you try to manipulate the public in the form of a 2D picture, saying test_array (1,5), mathscript guess it must be a 2D array.

  Very often, this Message indicates that a commata missing between the column list. Because after the missing comma oracle expects logically the FROM keyword.

  In your case, the missing comma is in the column 'age' and the following case statement.

• Virtual Linux machine alignment

  As we know, EMC Clariion SAN recommended alignment offset is 128 blocks (64K). We were lining up VMs Windows for a long time, but I just now who goes back and fixing of our older RHEL models must be perfectly aligned. I added a new disk and used gparted to copy the boot in sdb sbd1 = sda1 partition, by assigning DO NOT round in the nearest cylinder and leave 1 MB of previous free space (= 2048 offset, a multiple of 128/64). I then copied the other partitions, reinstalled grub, etc.. All boots & seems good. Common things. However, I notice that fdisk warns now "Partition 1 does not stop the cylinder limit." Is - it just the planned warning because it is not rounded on what he thinks are the cylinders and can therefore be ignored? Or am I missing a step necessary/logic in my approach? Thank you!

  Fdisk of default reasons by the cylinder in its output.

  If you align to 128, you are probably put an end to your partition in the middle of a cylinder. And the following will begin in the same cylinder, which gives the warning message (false).

  If you run fdisk with switch-u (eg. fidsk-lu / dev/sda) you will get instead of the output based on sectors, and you will see that the first partition ends at xxx sector while the other starts to sector xxx + 1.

  It is the most important.

  OK, so this is going to prove that I'm still learning.

  vSphere 4 (ESX4), using an EMC SAN.  My guy in storage created me a LUN TB 5.37 and 4.03 TB LUN.  I connected to the first LUN and started trying to create a VMFS data store, and of course he did not how I thought it should.  And I went to the documentation and the book Mastering by Scott Lowe has learned the rule of 2 TB - 512 K.  I love to learn things.

  So, I got my guy from storage will seduce the large LUNS and dismantle them in small LUNs, all less 2 TB.

  The problem I see is that the original two large LUNS are still appear in the add storage wizard window.  I tried refreshing and reparsing.  The large LUNS appear again - I guess that the real problem is that the smaller MON new are not all appear - miss me a unit logic of each of the large lun number.  Here's what I mean - the 5.37 TB lun has been removed from the SAN and three LUNS 1.79 TB have been created, but I do not see the first of three people.  Even with TB 4.03 LUN that was initially created and then deleted and divided into third - I don't see the first ONE of this lot either.

  I guess I have to refresh something and probably learn new things from command line.  I love to learn new things.  Has anyone seen elsewhere this behavior, or has any suggestions?  I have already confirmed with my guy in storage that old LUNS have been washed properly and correctly created new ones.

  It is actually a problem with the service console itself, I guess you are using the classic ESX.  I ran in there with physical Linux servers as well.  You can have these changed now the new Lun ID LUN or a restart if you want to keep them.  New LUN IDs would avoid a reboot.

  In a perfect world, a new analysis would be all you have to do, but with some berries SAN (my HDS is notorious for this), I had no chance without a reboot.
