  When you buy a license, the software is a secondary element (you can download it even before you buy - is not a required deliverable to the purchase)... the main item that you purchase is a license that takes the form of a valid serial number to the extent where what is delivered.  If the seller has not provided such a number of series, or a redemption code to purchase a serial number, it is then up to the seller to stipulate that.  In short, sue the seller for the number of series/redemption code.

  For some reason, it seems that the update of the BIOS wiped out relevant info in your BIOS. It will require repairs at HP to restore the info.

  Tried to install my original Illustrator discs and it won't save blah blah blah

  Then installed on adobe site and got it all installed and went to add the serial number condition and it don't work.

  Your original installation of CS2 activation to run, but the server so that the activation has been disabled (sorry), so that you can install is no longer the old.

  For this reason, Adobe did a version activation not available at the linked page to, to be used with one or more generic serial numbers.

  It may be noted that the Premium Suite is not included in the download options, so for this version, you will need to download the Standard Suite and then download Acrobat and Golive separately.
