Mobility to new comments controller, do not discount

Hi all

I hit my head against the wall for the last day watching a strange problem with my wireless controllers.  My current setup has been a cluster (8.0.140) foreign controller and a N + 1 alien Controller (8.01.121).  I then had two Controllers (7.6.130) of anchor individual comments in a DMZ with 3 SSID being mounted on the guest.

I have installed a new controller of Anchor Guest (7.6.130) in a new demilitarized zone, built the tunnel of mobility between new comments and foreign controllers. Removed the existing anchorages among the SSID and added new comments to test connectivity.  My client cannot obtain a DHCP address.  If I statically assign an ip address, then I am connected but disconnects 10 seconds later.

So I install a new SSID, exactly the same as I was testing on foreigners and the new controller of the anchor.  Create the mobility group the same way and test my client, works without problem.  So I know that my DHCP setup is ok, my new controller of anchor is ok.

I tried to remove my old SSID and add once again, get the same results, the client cannot connect.

When I do a debug of the customer on the controller from abroad, I get the error message following which seems to be the where it is a failure:

Retry mobility anchor Packet XX.xx.xx.xx.xx.XX: Peer IP: , anchor IP: 0.0.0.0

Once I change the anchor to old controllers on the foreign controller SSID, my client connects immediately again.  I tried my new guest anchor controller on 8.0.121 and 8.0.140, but I get the same results.

The fact that a new SSID works first time with the same settings (just a different SSID) baffles me.  Even if I change the old SSID to no authentication, it still does not connect.  I tried with 3 different customers comes to exclude one of the problems.

I have also repeated the above test on N + 1 foreign controller (running 8.01.121) and get the same results

Anybody have suggestions for something else to test.  My apologies for all levels of different code, but also through an upgrade code for the moment.

So, when you set up a new SSID that is mapped to the same vlan everything works. When return you your old controller who maps also the SSID to the same vlan it also works very well. However when you have the new anchor with the current SSID added new controller, it does not work?  So when you auth enjoying a nice SSID don't see you the customer also on the controller of the anchor?  To have a static and drop all 10 seconds or seems weird and you can create a new SSID on foreigners and the anchor without problem?  What I would do is create a new WLAN using the same SSID, the name of different profile on the two foreigners and anchor. It should work since you mentioned a new SSID works very well. If your WLAN id is 1-16, and then create the new with id WLAN 17 or more, otherwise you will need to disable the old SSID before activating the new.

  • Why do not the remove-hard drive remove a disc with a new SCSI controller?

    Hi PowerCLI gurus,

I try to use PowerCLI to automate the solution for article configuration of disks to use VMware Paravirtual (PVSCSI) SCSI adapters (1010398).

Remove-hard drive sometimes gives me a misleading error when I use it to remove a hard drive with a new SCSI controller.

The FlatHardDisk specified 'Hard disk 3' no longer exists, or never existed.

Can anyone here explain the error?

My version of vCenter server is 5.1.0.

    My PowerCLI version is 2.0.

Here's what I've done to reproduce the error.

First of all, I connect to vCenter and stop the virtual machine.

    $TestVM = 'TESTVM '.

    $TestServer = ' vcenter - test.local ".

    SE connect-VIServer-Server $TestServer

    Stop-VM - $TestVM VM - confirm: $false

I add a new hard drive and store it in a variable so I can refer to it for the next steps.

    -Flat DiskType '

    CapacityKB - 1024'

    StorageFormat - thin '

    -OutVariable TempDisk

I make a note of its name.

    $TempDisk.Name

Because my VM already has 2 discs, the output is "hard drive 3.

Then I add a new SCSI controller on the hard drive.

    New SCSI controller.

    -Type ParaVirtual '

    NoSharing - BusSharingMode

Now, I try to remove the hard drive from the variable to remove the disc.

    Remove-hard drive - hard drive $TempDisk - DeletePermanently-confirm: $false

It fails with an error that says "Hard drive 3" has already been removed.

Is this a bug or am I missing something?

I don't think that the cmdlet uses actually the UID, but more likely a MoRef to the vSphere object that represents the hard disk.

Remember that under the covers most of the PowerCLI cmdlets do calls to the vSphere API.

Change the Uid, property value indicates that the hard drive connected to the new controller is a new and different purpose.

And this explains why the hard drive remove does not work with the original hard disk object, it no longer exists.

  • Satellite Pro 6050: WLan controller does not seem to be in Device Manager

I'm a novice guy with computers.

Well, I re-formated my laptop and re-installed all the drivers, but my wirless lan controller does not seem to be in my device manager.
I was just wondering, if the driver needed to be installed in a certain order. I also had my add on the Vodaphone mobile card plugged into slot on the side that would make a difference?

in any well any help would be great

    Hello

As far as I know that the WLan card was optional on this unit. In this case, if you bought the device with wireless network card that WLAN should appears in Device Manager. But if you bought the laptop without the WLan card you won't find it in Device Manager.

PS: The recovery CD already includes the WLan driver and you don't need to t in addition no driver to install.

  • PlayStation 3 Sixaxies Controller does not work

Hello I am looking for a fix for this problem, I have a perferctly good controller and a new computer windows 7 64 bit and I would like to know why the controller does not work please help thanks

Are you sure Sony support the controller on a PC?  If you are just using a pilot implemented by a guy then it probably won't work on 64-bit.

My advice, pick up a wired Xbox 360 controller.  Windows Update uses drivers and it will install immediately.  If you want to go wireless, you can use a wireless controller with the USB Gaming receiver for Windows. • found the new keyboard controller pci hardware

I had a massage n my office says "found new hardware n asked for a disk to install a driver but do not have." Anyone know what her soul?

found the new keyboard controller pci hardware

Simply cancel in the message and we will fix the problem manually.  You say that it is a PC keyboard controller.  Did you just install oee or install a new keyboard or hardware or driver changes at all on your system?

You can get in trouble with your device (specifidallly the keyboard or keyboard controller) drivers.  Go to the Device Manager by going to start / find and type Device Manager and enter and then double-click on the program icon that appears.  Check each device to a red x, yellow! or white?  Look especially devices associated with the keyboard.  These identify devices with problems probably (drivers, but also of conflict or something else).  Click on each for more details and troubleshooting tips.  If you need to get drivers (and you should for the keyboard and the keyboard/controller and like many others that you have time to do - they are making contributions beyond simply solve this problem), let the computer dealer or the manufacturer of the device (NOT of Microsoft Updates).  In fact, you must disable automatic updates in Windows Update driver as follows: http://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/how-to-disable-automatic-driver-installation-in-windows-vista/. Follow these steps to get the drivers: http://pcsupport.about.com/od/driverssupport/ht/driverdlmfgr.htm.  Once you have the drivers, you can install them via the Manager device as follows: http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-device-manager-install-driver.html.

This should solve the problem.  If it is not or you do not find drivers for the position of keyboard controller to return with more information about the keyboard controller that you can find.  The keyboard works fine without this "new material"?  Tell me what you see in Device Manager on the keyboards or keyboards/controllers. Go to the Actions and click Scan for New Hardware and tell me EVERYTHING he says he says he detected new hardware.  Keep clicking and copy everything it says until you get to the point where he asks a disc install a driver (before you get to that point it will ask probably if you want to search for a driver - Windows answer Yes and see if it works (it probably won't, but it's worth a shot).)  Either you added something, or something that was already there became active or something that was already installed got corrupted and lost its driver and therefore act as if it was a new piece of hardware.  In all cases we need to IDENTIFY this material so that we can drivers for it (or you will continue to see this message every time you start).

If you are unsure that you have installed anything new, then I suggest that you only contact technique the customer computer manufactuerer by phone or chat online help to identify the material and the location of device drivers to it.

    I hope this helps.

    Hello:

See if it works... Now, it's to install the Ethernet controller (wired), not the wireless network controller.

Make sure that you have installed the first Intel chipset driver, then restart.

  • WIN Pro 8, xbox 360, z axis wireless controller does not

WIN Pro 8, Microsoft Xbox 360 wireless controller, z axis does not.

Axis Z work in the calibration screen, but not in the test screen or in the games must be a driver problem, advice?

Have deleted the driver to allow windows to reinstall the drivers.

Installing the windows driver software 7 for the controller, still the z axis only work in the calibration screen.

I thought that I had the same problem, but see the knowledge base article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2757006

Apparently, the problem is only with the test itself dialog box. I also jumped to the conclusion that it must be a driver problem and expects the controller does not work properly in games.

However, the controller DOESN'T seem to work properly in games.

(Mine is actually a Logitech F710, but it uses Xinput anyway).

I hope that your Z axis controller also works outside of the test application, and the information above helps dispel the confusion around this issue.

There is no problem with the drivers or controller, everything works (read below for the explanation and solution)

I had the same problem, with the z axis (Left Trigger (LT) and right trigger (RT)) with a 360 wireless controller by using the adapter on Windows 8 Pro 64-bit wireless controller.

He would not show the entrances to trigger (z axis) on the calibration screen. Looked online and came across this thread in hopes of finding new update of drivers, or a solution.

After reading the post I quoted above, I decided to see if the z axis works in the game, and he does. I tried Street Fighter X Tekken, went to training mode and you can view entries button on the screen, and pressing the RT and LT trigger buttons, they are part of the game and my character not the corresponding move associated with the key as well as to show the button based directly on the screen.

I went then the game controller settings in windows 8 and again once the game controller dialog box does not show the LT and RT (z axis) entered.

Solution: the controller works fine, and not showing is not the z axis is only a cosmetic problem with the Controller dialog box. So just ignore the controller, the z axis dialog box still works in games.
