WIN Pro 8, xbox 360, z axis wireless controller does not

WIN Pro 8, Microsoft Xbox 360 wireless controller, z axis does not.

Axis Z work in the calibration screen, but not in the test screen or in the games must be a driver problem, advice?

Have deleted the driver to allow windows to reinstall the drivers.

Installing the windows driver software 7 for the controller, still the z axis only work in the calibration screen.

I thought that I had the same problem, but see the knowledge base article: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2757006

Apparently, the problem is only with the test itself dialog box. I also jumped to the conclusion that it must be a driver problem and expects the controller does not work properly in games.

However, the controller DOESN'T seem to work properly in games.

(Mine is actually a Logitech F710, but it uses Xinput anyway).

I hope that your Z axis controller also works outside of the test application, and the information above helps dispel the confusion around this issue.

There is no problem with the drivers or controller, everything works (read below for the explanation and solution)

I had the same problem, with the z axis (Left Trigger (LT) and right trigger (RT)) with a 360 wireless controller by using the adapter on Windows 8 Pro 64-bit wireless controller.

He would not show the entrances to trigger (z axis) on the calibration screen. Looked online and came across this thread in hopes of finding new update of drivers, or a solution.

After reading the post I quoted above, I decided to see if the z axis works in the game, and he does. I tried Street Fighter X Tekken, went to training mode and you can view entries button on the screen, and pressing the RT and LT trigger buttons, they are part of the game and my character not the corresponding move associated with the key as well as to show the button based directly on the screen.

I went then the game controller settings in windows 8 and again once the game controller dialog box does not show the LT and RT (z axis) entered.

Solution: the controller works fine, and not showing is not the z axis is only a cosmetic problem with the Controller dialog box. So just ignore the controller, the z axis dialog box still works in games.

    3. go into tasks > settings > Extender

  • Network wireless controller does not work on Dell Inspiron 510 m

Reinstalled XP on Dell Inspiron 510 friend m and it connect to the Internet via a USB of Belkin adapter.

While on the internet, I downloaded and installed all the updates from Microsoft, and updated drivers.
I got the correct location (U.K.) Network cards:
    Intel Pro/100 VE Network Connection
Dell R83099 TrueMobile 1300 WLAN Mini - PCI Card downloaded and installed.
The Wireless does not appear in Device Manager.
Yellow question mark in the other poster peripheral device manager > network controller.
I can't find a driver for it anywhere.
The Dell site does not recognize the serial number and I am at a loss to know where to look next.
I found a lot of references to others having exactly this problem, but have not seen a solution.
Really need help on this point,
    TIA

It seems a little weird that the serial number was not recognized.  Have you tried to contact Dell and ask them about it?

Why R83099 Dell TrueMobile 1300 WLAN Mini-PCI Card?  This isn't one of the choices for the adapter driver wireless for an Inspiron 510 m--> http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19 (that file doesn't even seem the correct driver for a Dell TrueMobile 1300; the linked page offers R143355. EXE for the device).

I suggest either (a) call/email Dell and know what particular wireless adapter is in the laptop and what driver you should download or (b) open the cover of the mini-PCI card and visually identify (if possible)--> http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins510m/sm/upgrades.htm#999869 and then go to the driver page linked above and get the correct driver.

  • Win XP - Renesas uPD720201 USB 3.0 Host Controller - does not not :(

    Hi all

I need help because I have problems getting my new usb 3.0 PCIe card to work.

Basically, I myself had this USB 3.0 PCIe card (so can finally have the best on-the-go transfer speeds).

It establishes he needs a "slot PCI-Express must be version 2.0 or later" to get the USB 3 speed of 5 Gbps; otherwise version 1 will be limited to 2.5 GB/s.

I have the Asus P6T motherboard that has:

    2 x PCIe 2.0 x 16 (dual x 16, blue)
    1 x PCIe 2.0 x 16 (x 4, white mode)
    1 x PCIe x 1
    2 x PCI

    This image will help you.

My understanding of this is that I have a small white that is version 1 (directly under the first blue PCI - E version 2), where my graphics card is installed. The following PCIe which is version 2 is the following under small white (big one blue) by another white to x 4. I have installed PCIe card in the "PCIe 2.0 x 16 (x 4, white mode). I've also attached the required SATA power cable. I can't install the USB connector before (19 pins) as my current case uses USB 2.0. Fix the case it has front usb 3.0 in the future.

For after this forum, I installed the card properly. Is this correct?

I think it's okay, because the red light of PCIe card seems lit inside my case AND (b) because I can see the USB 3.0 controller host listed in the Device Manager.

However, when I connect my usb 3.0 flash memory stick scandisk, it's the blue light flashes but in Windows XP > My Compputer device does not appear?

I try in my USB 2.0 and it is formatted in FAT32 and also works perfectly fine, so I know it isn't my USB pen.

I use the 3.0.23.0 driver version

I don't know about the firmware.

Thanks in advance for any help on this.

    Hi all

To inform, I got it to work. Had to update the firmware, but could only do by installing the PCIe card in the first small PCIe slot.

Here is a link to the firmware update (only worked in Internet Explorer for me).

You can also download the driver to date since there too.

After the firmware update, I uninstalled the driver (using the Add/Remove Programs entry). Shut down the PC. Moved the PCIe card in the greatest location PCIe which is version 2.

Thanks for the other tips if ever less.

I try to use my XBOX on my PC wireless controller, it seems to be installed correctly (that is, it is correctly identified in the list of devices [as 'XBOX 360 wireless controller via Play and Charge Kit,' which is how it is connected], identifies correctly connected to the USB port [I moved it a few times to check]).  But it does not work for the 2 games I tried (BioShock 2 and Tomb Raider, both downloaded via Steam).  One of the games (Bio2) even has an option to enable or disable the XBOX controller, but when I try to click on the button 'ON' it will not activate, and 'OFF' option remains on.

  • Satellite Pro L40 - wireless adapter does not work - Vista

I recently had some problems with my laptop.
A couple of weeks, I put in a disc of OpenSuse.
It's not stable anything, but locked me out of my original Vista operating system.

I reinstallled Vista Home Basic, but there are a few problems.
Mainly, my wireless adapter does not work.

When I flip the button to turn it on nothing happens and it is not recognized in Windows.
I installed Atheros Driver, but still nothing happens, light is not yet.

    Any advice?

    Hello

First check the device-> network adapters area manager
You see the WLan card? Or the unknown device appears?

If there is an unknown device, then the WLan driver has not been installed correctly or you tried to install a driver badly these two options are possible.

Remember that your wireless network card? Maybe it was a Realtek WLan card?

If it's a Realtek WLan card, try the WLan driver from the Realtek website and look for 802.11 g (RTL8187B) chip or you will simply check the page of the European driver Toshiba too the Realtek WLan driver also appeared on the Toshiba page

  • In test report says wireless network wireless radio does not (8500 a909g)

I can't get my HP Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless put A909g in place on the network. I have the correct network name, security type, and the security key, but it does not detect the printer. I ran a test on the printer's wireless network and, at the top of the page, it says "the wireless radio does not work... '.

    What can I do?

Try to reset the printer by pulling on the plug and waiting for 30-40 seconds.  If that is fixed, contact HP for repair or replacement.  Prepare to spend hours with them on the phone.  Keep your handy wireless network test.  Also run a printer status report.  You need both.

  • Unable to connect to the network and wireless interface does not appear in ipconfig/all on Vista32

My niece has a laptop of HP under vista32 who cannot access the network wirelessly or wired.  She is in College and needs the laptop on the network as soon as possible for his class work.  I tried to reload the driver wireless driver (Atheros AR5007 b/g) and reset the tcp/ip stack using the command netsh addressed in the microsoft article, but nothing works.

I brought the laptop to work where we have an unsecured wireless lan (called comments) for visitors and the laptop can go out and find all points of access wireless including comments.  When I select the comments and try to connect it times out and tells me to watch driver and tcp/ip connections.

Another clue may be that the wireless card does not appear when I type ' ipconfig/all', or the adapter wireless and wired adapters are not displayed:

    C:\Users\Admin>ipconfig/all

In the case where somone has this same question, I wanted to post my final resolution of the problem. I backed up its data and restored the laptop to factory default using HP restore and now everything works fine.  Better I would say loading Zone Alarm on Vista was a bad thing for my niece to do.  Would have been nice to find a magical solution to avoid restoring but never found one.  Even after the alarm zone using their instructions by removing completely, there was apparently a problem with the registry who wouldn't let networks are working properly.  One thing I noticed after that the restoration was the HP Wireless Assistant poped up and told me about available networks, etc.  Assistant wireless didn't pop-up at all whne the cell was dismantled so maybe assistant was broken?  Well, I'm out...

    Hello

In most cases, if the physical button it is an indication that soemthing is wrong with the wireless hardware.

If you are still under warranty contact the assistance of suppliers of the laptop.
