• Photoshop CS4 - CMYK as default mode?

  Hello

  I am running Photoshop CS4, a a few machines using Windows Vista and Windows 7, and I wonder if there is a way to change the default mode in CYMK at a new document, import of images etc.

  For now, everything is oriented RGB. I looked in the Photoshop preferences and browsed the forums etc. nothing works.

  So my question is this: is it possible to change the color mode to CMYK when you create default and opening documents?

  I guess it is not an easy option (unless I missed it), so is it perhaps to do a plugin or script?

  Photoshop remembers the setting in the file > new... dialog. When you create a new image in Photoshop always displays this window, for the color Mode choose CMYK and next time, when you create a new image of your last choice will be automatically selected.

  However, there is one exception, when you copied the image data on your clippboard. Then the color Mode option will automatically be set to the color mode of the image that is in the Clipboard. You can always clear the image data in your Clipboard by copying the other thing like text.

  When you open documents, they will be open in color mode, that they were saved. If you want to convert them to CMYK you can choose which of the Image > Mode menu.

• I have problems with Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Windows 7 32-bit Professiol.

  When I open an image of the bridge, the photoshop Panel is locked on one side of the screen.  The onle way I can get out of it is CTRL, alt, delete.  The problem persists.  I tried to uninstall Adobe and reinstall with no luck.  I called Adobe and they think that there is a problem with the security system in Windows.  Help, please.

  This could be attributed to several factors such as conflicts between device drivers, applications, settings of operating system, hardware, and corrupt elements in specific files.

  Basic troubleshooting
  
  1. make sure that the computer meets the minimum requirements for Photoshop.
  2. install all Windows updates. .
  3 re-create the Photoshop preferences file.

  Re-create the Photoshop preferences file to eliminate problems that may cause a damaged Preferences file.

  To re-create the Photoshop preferences files:

  1. quit Photoshop.
  2. rename the \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Adobe Photoshop CS4 Settings\Adobe Photoshop CS4 Prefs.psp directory Users\ [username] Adobe Photoshop CS4 Prefs.old.
  3 launch Photoshop. Photoshop creates a new Adobe Photoshop CS4 Prefs.psp file.
  If the problem persists, the Photoshop preferences files aren't the cause. To restore custom settings, quit Photoshop, and then delete the new Adobe Photoshop CS4 Prefs.psp file and restore the original name of the previous Adobe Photoshop CS4 Prefs.psp file.

  Dear representative of Adobe,

  I'm going to buy a new PC and I would like to re - install my version of Adobe Photoshop CS4 in my new computer.   I disabled and uninstalled my copy of Photoshop CS4 in Windows 7 and tried to reinstall on a new clean install of Windows 10 using the same registration number, but the number is constantly rejected as invalid.  I checked and double-checked it three times without success.  How can I re - register my software?

• Need help with a script customized for processing in Photoshop CS4 of images in batches. Really grateful for the help thereby.

  So I have a boatload of pictures that I have to deal with as I'm moving off Ebay and open my own online store and the images that I have on Ebay, although excellent quality are not square, and unfortunately, the model that I use in Wordpress requires square photos.

  Basically, what I need is a script that I can use in batch mode, which will focus on the size of the image and change the canvas size to be square corresponding to the current long image side. Resize the image to 1600 square pixels and finally save for web in JPEG quality 60.

  Normally I would muddle my way through this trying to teach myself but I already do so much with this new project that I can't afford to pay developers for help that I would really appreciate if someone could help me with this script. I use Photoshop CS4 if it made a difference.

  A simple gesture can do that. What you need to do is that the action of lot.   With the help of Photoshop Image Processor script.  The Action is a two-step

  N ° 1). File menu > automate > fit Image.  In the dialog box Image Fit you assign Width and Height 1600 pixels.

  Step 2.) Menu Image > canvas size.  In the canvas size dialog box, you assign Width and Height 1600 Pixels.

  Record the action in some action with a name like 1600PxSquare

  Then use the file menu to Photoshop > Scripts > image processor. In the dialog to the Image Processor script. Select your image source folder. Set where you want your jpeg images. Set it to save jpeg files quality 6.  Set it to include your 1600PxSquare action.

  Step adjustment image resize your image to fit in a 1600 x 1600 pixels are while keeping image proportions of images. Portrait image will be high 1600px and landscape image will be 1600px wide.  The step size canvas will add the canvas to make the place of the image.  Portraits will have a border on the left and right images of landscape will be confined to the op and downs.

• 2nd monitor problems with Photoshop CS4 and CC

  I'm on a quest to solve a problem with my second monitor when using Photoshop. When I hit F in photoshop to switch between display modes or when I Zoom in or out this happens:

Until very recently, I used OS x 10.6.8 with Photoshop CS4 with no problems but ran into some problems with applications etc so I upgraded to Yosemite. That's when the problem started. In order to solve what I did a clean install of Mavericks in the hope that Yosemite was too new and that he had not brought bugs.   Apple is aware of these driver problems and work on solutions.

  Turning off the use of Photoshop GPU can help.

  But if you need the GPU features, you can return to a stable version of MacOS.

  This delicate because probably gets offers on eBay, but the site is stacked with counterfeit, products that may not work properly.  CS4 is also a product quite old, so produced legitimate can be depleted.  CS5 is my favorite version and you may have better luck with it.

  When you open multiple images in photoshop CS4, I would float on the screen images, IE to not place the stacked images. I currently go to the window menu and select float all in window every time. A default value is selectable which opens to them and shows them floating.

  Just a thought, but you can try to use the style of the glow. Set its blending to multiply or normal mode and its 100% opacity.

  Another option is to use a style of outline.

  These two methods would mean that the person is a separate object from the background. So if you did not, you should choose the person and move it to a new layer.
