• I can't see model excel after upgrade editor bi of 10g and 11g

  Hi all

  We have improved Bi Publisher reports from 10g to 11g. Reports looks good with RTF out put. Reports are displayed with Excel out put.

  If I click EDIt of excel layout, that nothing is displayed. If I can't model properties is available.

  My question is

  RTF works well why EXCEl does not work?

  can I download 10 GB excel and I can download in 11 g?

  should I open excel 10 and 11 g and copy and paste out put?

  is there properties I should correct?

  Please help me. for your understanding I'm downloading a few screenshots. (see attachment)

  I solved this problem.

  I downloaded excel 10g, then downloaded page layout in the report of 11g. It works very well.

  You can use the XDO_METADATA worksheet.
  Add a new line (after the rank of "Constraints of data") that specifies the variable double:
  XDO_? DUPLICATE_VAR_1?

  Then use this new variable in Excel 'name '.

• Frequency response of a filter

  I have the coefficients of the filter from the filter that I need in my program. I need to find the frequency response of the filter. Is there any function in LabVIEW that helps me do that?

  I guess I need a function that is similar to the freqz function in matlab for this.

  I'll post the answer so that others can use it

  First of all, I discovered the transfer (from the filter coefficients) of the filter function using the:

  Digital Filter Design toolkit-online Utilities => tf (DFD build transfer Function.vi filter)

  The output filter obtained this was wired as a the input filter for:

  Digital Filter Design toolkit-online filter analysis-online Freq resp (DFD Plot Freq Response.vi)

  I had the required frequency response .

  @Sd.Kfz.10 I could not use the filter filter RII where the coefficients are given as input (in the toolkit signal processing) and FIR because I wanted the only filter response. These FIR and IIR filters requires the table of input signal.

  I used for the linear predictive coding for speech recognition. I modeled the vocal tract as a model (a filter all-pole) Autoregressive using a the AR modelling.vi in the ADSP Toolbox. I wanted to see the frequency response of the filter modeled but I only had the filter coefficients.

  When I use the 'add table to declare' or the "Excel easy table" screws to insert data to a model excel file then LabVIEW changes the width of the columns. It is very annoying because I have to inject data into a file template provided by the Subscriber.

  I can't use VI "simple text" (which preserves the width of the cell) because this VI is very slow.

  you're right, that Append table report will change the width of the column, according to what is specified on the column width and the system of measurement for the width of column entries. However if you set the width of column-1 than cells in model of is not changed.

  To answer your question, there is no specific VI which will give you the width of excel cell, but you can use the activeX calls and information. If you open the Excel function, you can see how these Excel ActiveX calls are made.

• JDEV 12.2.1 table facet filter with lookup

  We are working on improving the system of JDEV 12.2.1.

  We have a column in VO that is attached to a LOV. If we drag and drop the VO on the UI with the filters and active sort tabular, then the column which is attached to a LOV in the t display a list of choices automatically in the facet of filter in the version 12 c.

  What is the new feature of 12 c? This was not the behavior in 11.1.2.3

  If so then is it possible to remove this behavior? I don't want the choicelist appear in the side of the column that is attached to LOV in the model of filter layer.

  Not at the moment a binary RPD. The 'Permission' concern mark resp. restrictions. the read/write access on the presentation as well as the physical layer layer - but those who are related to the analytical use through answers / SmartView etc. and RPD will not work.

  In theory, you could do it in an RPD which is divided into pieces MDS XML and then assign subsets some developers. I say in theory because you would have to if ensure no reusable entity and object exist always... which basically will never be the case unless you are ok with the duplication of objects to get around this fact.

  The Get-View Filter parameter works as described, but I'm sure that you hit a particular situation.

  I suspect that you have virtual machines that do not have the VMware tools running.

  A condition in the filter when the property is $null will always succeed it seems.

  If you replace the filter like this, you should see the accurate virtual machines.

  Note, I don't think that this behavior of the filter is, in my opinion, should be done. If the filter meets a $null in one of the properties, it should return $false for this condition, no $true.

  2 create a report using an existing data model (browse and choose a data model)

  Layouts Excel generate only one exit Excel. (CSV takes no account of the provision is therefore an option for any layout.)

  You use RTF or PDF or page Template Builder (XPT) layouts to generate PDFS.

  The LOV to find output formats by modifying the report and selecting a list.

  The table has a column to the output formats, it is controlled by the format of the presentation that you have built.

  I get the error "" Impossible to compile the "location of the <>file" document because it does not contain the macros modeling Oracle policy"every time I have compile an Excel document and Pluggable software component Oracle Policy modeling is not present in same Excel when I open the file in the Project Explorer. OPM shows the following error: "an error occurred during the opening of the"location of the <>file"document: cannot set property Installed the AddIn class. Please help me with this.

  I found this in another link showing where to check that the Add-in Oracle Policy modeling is available.

  For Office 2003, I found the add-ins under the Tools-Add-Ins

  Take a look at the Setup Guide for Oracle 10.3.1 Policy modeling. There is a subject in the lower part which has certain measures that may be relevant to your situation. For more convenience, I copied some details:

  The following is a possible workaround that will allow you to manually activate the Oracle strategy
  Modeling of add-in for Excel:
  (1) open the Excel document outside the Oracle Policy modeling.
  (2) select Options Excel in the Office Menu (upper-left circle). Select Add-Ins, can find
  Manage: Add-ins Excel and click Go...
  (3) place a check mark in the box Oracle Policy Modeling Excel 2007 (if it is already checked, try to uncheck,
  by clicking on OK and it turns once again).
  4) click on the OK button.
  (5) try to open the workbook again in the Oracle Policy modeling.
  If the Oracle Policy Modeling AddIn for Excel does not appear in step 3, you should be able to locate
  It is in the installation of Oracle Policy modeling templates directory. The default location is:
  C:\Program Files\Oracle\Policy Modeling\templates\Oracle Policy Modeling Excel 2007.xlam

  I'm sure that the answer is no. The only solution I can think is using BI Publisher and create a data model using answers as a source and map to a model Excel with formulas inside for the totals, etc. It is not a solution pretty or easy... as much as there is no plugin for excel.
