  I bought this model almost 2 months back. It's up & ongoing enforcement and connected to my DSL (Ethernet cable) with Windows Vista. When you do that, it must have set it self without my intervention.

  Well, in this case you need to reset the router. Make sure that the power led on the router should blink when you press and hold the reset button. Press and hold the reset button for 40 to 45 seconds, power cycle it and check.

• tent fill a WRT110 with my Westell router/model model 7500 DSL

  I want to fill the two devices, so I can plug in my new Blue-Ray to the Internet player that sits in a room without an Ethernet connection. I watched a single resource and told me that all I need to do is to make the SSID and the channel number, the same, but that has not worked. I also watched www.ehow.com and they recommended to disable DHCP and DNS settings, and the Firewall setting which I did but help either. I suppose my question would be if someone has already tried to use this model of router as a bridge or if someone can tell me if this model of router is able to act as a bridge. I looked on the site Web of Linksys and they won't list more of this model and have no support information. Thank you

  WRT110 is a wireless router and it doesn't have a bridge function. There is no way you can bridge with your Westell. You can always join your Westell via an ethernet cable WRT110. With this configuration, you can have a wireless connection at home.

  I bought this model of router belkin N1 Vision F5D8232-4 Ver.1176ak long in December 2007 and it was working fine all these years. Today, 13 June 2013, I want to check the sessions, so I try to log in the password, but he refused me.   Can you help me to limit bandwidth on perticular devices, I use NETGEAR (WNR1000v2 - N150 wireless router) and the version of the firmware of the V1.1.2.58, like almost 4 devices are connected to this router, I want to limit the speed of bandwidth to each device.

  I have not found the Qos in my Netgear.

• Satellite P100-160 refuses to connect to my router 3Com with WPA - PSK

  Help! My new laptop Toshiba refuses to connect to my router 3Com (f/w 2.06T13) model 3cWDR100A on WPA - PSK. The router only supports TKIP (no AES).

  The laptop, a Satellite P100-160 is under Vista Home Premium with the latest Intel 3945 11.5.0.32 driver and I tried the version of the site Web of Toshiba version mentioned in other threads (and a few other versions also).

  Either way, I don't like latest driver hit with content identical binary files and different date stamps or running of the anonymous installers that have not been digitally signed.

  The problem is that non-encrypted, or WEP works perfectly, but WPA - PSK is not. It fails with a diagnostic message 'timeout for secondary keys. The thing will be very occasionally connect to the network without a timeout (before I tried to improve things with the last pilot about 1 in 20 attempts after a reboot, now it comes rather from 1 to 100). If I can be sure that the password is correct. When it connects everything is fine and stable with excellent signal until the first suspended and then the connection is lost. It's more than a little irritating.

  I see several topics of doom similar networks to Vista support groups. They all seem to hinge around WPA - PSK TKIP and WiFi Intel chipset x 945 in combination with certain models of router. Please can anyone help solve this mess?

  I've seen other threads of networking in Vista by users with this specific Intel chipset and my router model having exactly the same problem and so far nobody has found a solution. I checked the basics of knowledge (MS & 3Com) and tried a few plausible fixes, but nothing helped. I'm out of ideas.

  It seems a little absurd to demote network security to make the latest PC works correctly. Dumping Vista (however tempting) is not an option.

  As you can see this is not Toshiba specific stuff and if there is no 'global solution' I don't really know what Toshiba should do about it. As you all know it should support hardware and software (driver), but if not I don't really see a solution for this.
  Who should offer a solution? Toshiba or Intel?  :|

  @LouBu You can check the latest model of router, R7800. It has a WiFi button on / off.

  The printer model - done

  Operating system of the computer-

  Detailed - description of problem including all devices network (extensor, switches)

  Connection method - Direct wireless, wireless, wired LAN, USB? -

  Number of brand and model of router and modem? -

  Error messages - on the screen of the printer or computer, no matter what flashing light patterns? –

  The printer is connected directly to the wall outlet?  If this isn't the case, please explain how the power is connected.

  Do you think the printer is going to sleep and can't wake up? -

  If wireless, in the event of problem, what is the status of the blue wireless light on the printer, active, disabled or flashing? –

  Power off the printer and the router.  Power on the router and wait 3 minutes, power on the printer.  It connects to the router now?  What is the IP address of printers?

  Did you have to enter a password to connect to your iPhone? If you did you are encrypted.

  If you are not encrypted, your router is open for use by a person within its area of emission/reception. How to encrypt depends on the model of router, but in General, tell him what you want the password wireless. Your manual should tell you how to do this. If you need assistance please provide the make and model of your router, I am able to get a manual from somewhere.

  I want to add another computer to use though, I can't find the password for my router.  Is it possible to find it on one of my other computers.

  Except if you have really tightened down on the security of your router, adding another computer should be a simple to plug it.  In any case, most routers can be reset by default (including the password) by pressing the button of reset for about 10 seconds.  As you do not have the brand or the model of router in your post, all I can recommend is for more specific information, you should go to your router manufacturer's website and download the manual for your make and model of router and follow the instructions.

  I have owned my laptop Aspire R5 - 471T for about 4 days.   It seems to work just great except for 1 oddity.  It disconnects intermittently on my home network (other devices of computer in the House do not).  It takes an adapter reset (by selecting troubleshooting) to reconnect.   any ideas?

  If you still have problems...

  Make sure you have the latest firmware for the ASUS router.  Go to the ASUS website and search for the firmware for your model of router.  After you Flash the latest firmware... reset default ASUS by pressing for more than 5 seconds reset button.  And then manually reconfigure from scratch.  Do not try to restore the previous settings.  It is best to use as many as possible default router configuration, unless you really know what you're doing.

  Delete (forget) the old wireless profiles on your computers.  And then restart your computer.  And then reconnect it.

  And if you still have problems after this...

  1. disable IPv6 on the ASUS router

  2 disconnect the ASUS, your modem and the electrical outlet access points.

  3. put all of your computers.

  4. connect the ASUS. modem and access points.

  5. turn on computers.

  6. once everything works ok for 48 hours, activate IPv6 on the ASUS.

  I had something similar happens on a different computer model, and it was because of me tinker with IPv6.
