  I am using a cDAQ with NI 9237 module and one NEITHER 9205 and LabVIEW 8.6.1. The two arecoded of modules using the DAQ Assistant in LabVIEW.

  I assume you are using cDAQ-9172 chassis.

  This was just an analog input synchronization engine, which means that only HAVE task can run at a time.

  I am interested in the mini notebooks with GPS module - I would use the netbook instead of my current GPS (one less thing to carry on a trip), but there is limited info on exactly what this integrated module GPS can/cannot do.

  First, HP Navigator software, it's a service to purchase a monthly subscription to?   I found this on the HP website: "the Navigation is free for a trial period of 30 days and requires paid activation after the trial" what?

  Secondly, this navigator software provide the voice directions 'synthesis' or provide audio or is it simply Visual?

• Does anyone know how to connect a Garmin GPS to the EOS 7 d? The camera does not see.

  When I plug in my Garmin GPS on my EOS 7 d and go into the GPS settings in the menu. The camera does not see all I get is "GPS not connected indication." The GPS turned on and functional. Someone at - it ideas?

  Once I had an application that you had photographed the display of a GPS device (the type that a rider could use because they observe "breadcrumbs" trail of your itinerary) on #1 chassis (they wanted to just make sure that you have a picture of the time on the GPS display.

  You then go about your day taking photos with the GPS running indepdently.

  At the end of the day, you import the images and it asks you to enter the time displayed on the first photo.  It uses the display of GPS time and calculates the offset of the time, the camera recorded in the EXIF data (just in case the clocks were not perfectly synchronized).  Then she uses the breadcrumbs on the GPS track and apply the GPS position, data for each photo from your camera roll.

  It was a bit complicated and app tried to take over your App "photo management" (which I didn't... "I wanted just the position data added to the existing images), but it worked.

  The fact is... I was able to add correction of position information to each photo and it did not require actually integrate the GPS to the camera (it was quite after the fact).

  Today, I own the module GPS Canon (MUCH more convenient), so I don't deal with that more.

  I have a question about using a NI 9467 (timestamp GPS and Module synchronization).

  Hi Igor,.

  Yes, I think you're right.  Based on documentation that my colleagues and I can find out, that the 9467 does support notn info time streaming in the standard format of IRIG-B, so is not compatible with this form of GPS clock.

  I am using quite a few sensors that are supported by the LabVIEW Robotics module (GPS, MIO, compass and probably a LIDAR soon.) However, I would really like to be able to use the module series OR 9870 RS - 232 in a CompactRIO to interface with these devices (currently they are connected directly to a PC.) Unfortunately, I do not know if there is a way to do it without having to rewrite the drivers for the FPGA. Someone has encountered this before or maybe knows a way I can do this without reinventing the wheel? Thank you!

  Worked on a similar problem.  Take a look at this example .  Note how the service contact numbers is used to add an identifier to the data before it is put into a common FIFO.

• Need help with measurement excitation current OR 9219 Module

  I have problems to find the answer to my question.  My question is...  How do you analyze the excitation of a 9219 module current?  It seems that the excitation current which is specified (0.0005 (A) is not what is provided at the exit.  With a load of KOhm 10.5 a 0.00025 current is output.  As the resistance changes as the current and measured excitation voltage seems to change.  I just need to know the resistance... So, if I can monitor the voltage and current I can calculate the resistace.  BTW, why don't the current excitement remains fixed in the first place?

  Hi Nate-

  In almost all modes of the 9219, the current and the voltage automatically adjusts to the load it experiences.  The resistance is then measured according to the amount of current and voltage sunk by the load.  This is explained in 9219 User Guide and specifications.  The guide also States the the 9219 input impedance according to which mode it is.

  From my understanding, the 9881 can be treated from the FPGA, but only from the application of the RT. I think that the point 3 of your post examples of the use of the module fine.

  Since version 4.3.4 the Modulation Toolkit does not require an activation sequence.  This means that you won't be able to find it in the License Manager EITHER.  Because you will not be able to find it there, I would check the following locations where the Modulation Toolkit should appear:

  1. Start menu

  2. Windows Explorer

  Default location is: C:\Program Files (x 86) \National Instruments\Modulation

  3 NOR program list for uninstall

  Thanks John. It seems that the only way to add that one ASCII symbol is to create in another text editor (MS Word) and copy & paste it into the text box of the book module. Only some fonts will work, such as Arial and other standard fonts, so you will also need to change the font for the pasted symbol (X) so that it can display correctly. You can still use any font you like for the text. It's on WIndows 7:

  Well me: hardly. Generally there is a web layer involved with a perfectly good session (or conversation) in what state can be maintained.

  Alas, you don't want to not seem to really say what is on your mind with or without my eyes so I'll offer just a hunch I have. A stateless bean remains "active" that as long as you keep a connection active IE. the reference that you are looking for or inject into your client code. The 'storage in the session bean' you refer to your first post is the Act of perpetuating the bean; as long as the reference is stored in the session you can continue to use it for the same customer without being cleaned by the container. However: when you are working from a web layer there is not a lot of use for a stateful bean because you can simply use the session itself directly to keep the substance. His personal preference if you use them or not really.

  Where you were going wrong in your initial post, is that you get the the HTTP session object in your EJB code. But you probably already figured out for yourself.

• Advanced Book module help

  I watched the videos for the book module, and while he does a lot of great things, I am struggling to understand what is available, or I'm not sure that this module is really aimed at the professionals who make their income prepare books.

  First of all, I use a couple of companies of the other book, GraphiStudio main for my books.  And I don't use blurb.  While I don't know that Blurb is nice, I don't have a larger sample of Blurb books to show my clients.  I don't have many books graphics and for me to spend would be extremely costly to create enough samples to sell to customers.  It's just out of the question.

  You can export pages of a book of .psd files?  What I see, it seems that we have two choices, either use the text of presentation, or export to a .pdf file.  How about exporting to .jpg files?  How could this be done?  If I can't export to an image format high resolution, it is useless for me.  Really, I prefer to be able to export each page or spread like a .psd with all the effects in the form of editable in Photoshop layers and images being placed in the .psd as smart objects files.  In this way, you can use advanced features to quickly create a LR album and still have the flexibility to put the final touches in Photoshop.  These finishes would not need to be visible in the book module if this makes it easier.  Once I have them as .psd files, I don't have the book module to make adjustments.

  For books of graphics, printable first page is the left side of a two page spread.  There is never a single page at the beginning or the end of a book.  How can I make the first and all odd numbered pages left of pages pages?   Is this possible? If this is not the case, this book is useless for me.

  Finally, the books sizes are a problem.  You can customize the size of your book?  I could easily enter all the data that makes up the page size for a graphics or book some of the manufacture.  It seems to me a no-brainier for formats customized to a professional photo application allowing the taking of Paris.  So what happens if the models do not correspond exactly to all sizes.  You have essentially square, landscape, and portrait-oriented models.  It should be easy to get the right model in a custom size book.

  Of course, Adobe has spent a lot of time to add many features to this book module.  But it seems that these features are more professionally oriented cosumer oriented if you cannot copy the pages as files that you can edit in another application, and you can not specify the size of your page.  Maybe I just didn't understand how to do these things, and if someone knows how, please enlighten me.  Until these options are added or someone tells me how to get around them, I'm pretty disappointedwith what Adobe has imagined for this book module.

  No PSD or JPEG output, no options to spread designs only.

  There will be a tool to make your own model sizes and designs.

• Problem loading Module

  I'm actually huge flex fan, but since I work with the module becomes a pain my *... Sorry for my word. But I'm stuck in a little problem: loading and unloading of modules.

  It seems so easy to load or unload the module using the module Manager or a moduleLoader... I tried all the options, all the examples found on any website out there. The result is always the same: my modules do not load or spoil my GUI.

  Here's my problem: I load different Modules built very easy without functions, only the user interface. Loading modules is not the problem, but one s as soon as I load another module, and then reload the first flex module freezes and my GUI completely breaks. Buttons no longer work, the menu bar a little weird and so on. I have to have to close my browser and start over.

  The product problem no matter how simple or complex the module is.

  I got exceptions when I ran your test scenario.  You are not testing the use of the debugger?  Add these three lines to the main application seems to help.
