  • Reliablity and performance monitor is empty

I was just playing on Vista, now that I finally got and decided to launch the performance and reliability monitor to see why my computer was using up to 1.6 GB of RAM at idle. Not that she really bothers me or hurts my performance of the computer (after x 64 windows and 6 GB of RAM), but after opening it, I was a little confused because nothing was actually happening. I went to the monitor tab, you press start, but who have done nothing. I also tried to pass through the computer management program, but the same exact results. The work of monitors of reliability and performance, but the main screen, which shows the performance used by individual programs won't give me empty graphs, of the options and outcomes - although lack of. Well, I did everything what should have made the monitor, at least, I don't think that I did... the only thing that I changed the activation cool no silent mode for my CPU on my motherboard options, so I would not use too be able to leave my computer on all night. The monitor now works... If it stops working again, I'll post, but that seems to have been the cause. (?) It seems weird to have solved anything, but w/e... I do not know... I don't understand. I'll leave it is open for a day to make sure that it is the question. If this is the problem my motherboard is a version of Platinum bios msi k9a2 1.4, so others know how to solve this problem.

To me it sounds like it's a bad screen resolution or refresh has been set and the new monitor doesn t support this. You can change it in safe mode!

I tried restarting the computer and the creation. Check the updates of drivers Cuda. 6.1.18 running

Already old version 6.5.14 but the problem persists.

Tried to create a new project.

I tried different video settings for the sequence, but all behaving the same way.

I can't video playback in my UI for the source or video monitor.

    Help, please.

Contacted support via chat. Is that the rendering engine has been set to OpenCL rather than Cuda. To do this, go to 'file/project settings/general' at the top of this is the rendering engine of access. If it isn't on Cuda and you Cuda, then you will not have playback. Problem solved. I feel stupid, but there is the answer if someone else needs.

  • HP Pavilion TX 2530ee Entertainment PC - white monitor

Hello, I would ask your expertise on my dreadful problem of my computer.  Totally I can't use the laptop as the monitor was empty.  The port of the AC lights and other accessories has worked, but I noticed that 2 lights (1 left and 1 right back) in the area of keyboard flickered.  Now I'm suffering a lot for repair, they told me that the problem was the CPU itself, is this true?   In the case that my CPU was a real shame, were can I buy / order online.  Thank you

Who is 'they' who told you that? The first thing to try is an external monitor plugged into the vga port to see if maybe it's just the screen. I doubt that, because the lights flash. It's probably not the CPU or processor, it is likely that the motherboard. The motherboard can be repaired. If you are really interested in repair, she after return. I have a lot of information available, but I will take the time to type out unless I'm sure that you are interested.

  • HP 2310 monitor begins to turn and the.

    Hey everybody.

One day ago, my monitor (HP 2310 series wide LCD monitor) started randomly shooting market (as in, the screen goes black for a second and then back on), and I have no idea why. I've had this monitor for a year and a half now and never had a problem. It started just randomly yesterday, I haven't changed anything on my PC, it seems that the problem is the monitor, because I tried to go with one of my old monitors and there is no problem at all. My operating system is Windows 7. Sometimes an error message appears saying "Input Signal out of range, change at 1920 x 1080 and 60 Hz", but the monitor is already set to these settings...

Does anyone know how to fix this?

  • Using two monitors, no longer works

On windows 7, until today, I used a single monitor to display my desktop icons for word etc and the second to display my e-mail outlook etc. For some reason, the second monitor is empty. I checked the settings and all seem to o k and I am able to switch the monitor to the other and back again by changing the settings with the resulting effect, the other empties. Both monitors do not work properly. I tried to keep to a minimum the program (say outlook) to drag from one monitor to the other, but he won't move to the second screen. This has happened when I turned on today so I tried to restart the computer to no effect.

In addition to the suggestion of Palcouk, tapping the Windows key + P will bring up the projector options where you can select Extend.

  • strange monitor beep sound and blank when I installed the graphics card XFX Radeon HD 7870

OK, so I removed my GTX 555 after that I bought a brand new XFX HD 7870, installed and activated on the pc.
The monitor was empty and the pc tower was 5 beep sounds, then pause and repeat, over and over again until I turned off. When I replaced the GTX 555, all was well again, so I know this isn't the other components.
    Any suggestions?

You will need an adapter and you may need a new power supply.  Note the minimum requirement of the PSU of 500w.
  • HP Pavilion 27xi Pavilion 9180: Pavilion watch 27xi

I bought 4 of these 27xi of Pavilion for two workstations at Costco and think that I must return.  I am now faced with a problem with one where after commissioning there is a 4 "x 4" box where the monitor is just blacked out. When I restart sometimes it will go away. It may take several reboots to do. I turned as just the screen works a few times and then it will go away. All of these are purchased at the same time so I think thet all will begin to die on me like that?

I've read through the forums and someone posted that HP does not support really win 10 with drivers.

I also had this problem with the monitor with win 7 pro until I recently updated for free, hoping the 10 victory would solve the problem. If it was the operating system, then all four of these monitors would be to have questions.

I also did a factory reset and that did not help.

After migrating to win 10, now all the task bar icons appear on both monitors for each workstation, which is the best.  I checked and have the updated drivers for monitors. When I searched the HP site for the resolutions he comes, says to restart your machine but nothing beyond that did not.

The funniest part of this is when the computer starts and restarts, it will show the screen turned on properly, and then only then by default is the blackened area. It's as if she is capable, but something makes it just by default with blackened area. Then after a few off and ons the blackened area will disappear. It's like he needs to warm up or something.  I spent a lot of money on these monitors and assumed that they would last longer than about 2 years.

There is no option to select the monitors for any product here and no issue that works for this. Please move this to the best location when it exists. Not obvious from there where it would be.

I would like to upload a photo of him, but I don't see a way to do it here.

    Hi @Trillium,

Please become a member of the HP's Support Forums. I understand that you have a problem with the monitor showing a black square. I'll be happy to help you.

Please see the documents to HP Flat Panel monitors LCD - Monitor is empty.

With the monitors, there is very little for troubleshooting. Make sure of course connected to the cycle wall and power. Check that the cables are connected correctly.

Regarding the computer, if it is the HP Pavilion Elite e9180t desktop PC, all drivers for Windows 10 comes from Microsoft or the manufacturing of components. for example Radeon or GeForce video card.

Please keep me informed of the progress of things.

If you need help, let me know and I will gladly make all that I can to help you.

Please let me know if that solves the problem by marking this post as "accept as a Solution.

  • Satellite 1110: Secondary display does not work

    I have a satellite 1110
Connection of a monitor second - does not work
The settings are correct in what, move your mouse off the screen of the laptop and he enters the secondary monitor - but this monitor is empty
Tried all the normal things - control work? Yes etc.
I'm running XP Professional could be corrupted or is it more likely to do with my laptop

Please someone help - new monitor for Christmas - just can't make it work

    Thank you

    Hello Nick

According to your description, you can't write that the second display doesn t work. Of course, you have activated the option called extend my Windows desktop on this monitor. In this case, you can remove all windows laptop for external monitor screen.

If you work with more different windows on this way, your work will be more comfortable. I assume that you do want this and it will be interesting to know how you want to use the secondary display:
    -secondary display only
-but both with the same point of view?

Remove the scope option and use the FN + F5 key combination and choose display to use.

    Good bye

  • Satellite M35x-s109 - screen is black, the fan works momentarily then nothing

I have a Satellite M35x-s109 (4 years and more under warranty). I went to turn on the laptop after being in hibernation for a few hours.

The fan kicks on momentarily - then stopped working. The screen displays a picture very very low sign windows on the screen but nothing else. I can not even a cursor appears. It is powered as indicated by the Green led on the front of the laptop. The battery is fully charged. I tried to connect with the power adapter as well. I tried to connect an external monitor to the laptop.

The only image that appears is the Windows form indicating which loads. Then after a few seconds of loading, the image on the external monitor is empty and the monitor goes into sleep mode. The laptop is turned off automatically or custom fade at all and the only way for me to turn it off is to take out the battery.

Any ideas what's wrong with the laptop? Thanks in advance.

It's very strange question. try to remove the battery, leave cell phone 20 minutes without any food and try to start with power current only. Try it without, and later with the external monitor.

When the external monitor goes into standby mode, try to use the FN + F5 key combination to see if you get the image on the external screen again.
Play a little with it. If nothing is done it may be something serious with the screen and I'm afraid that you need professional help.

  • Unable to boot to the XP system except in Mode safe

When I press the power button on the Tower, it will emit several beeps, but stops eventually. When I turn on the monitor is empty. Nothing shows as usual. The computer is not pretend to start. When I press a button it will say her power in economy mode and either move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard to exit the mode. The problem is that the mouse or the keyboard seems to be able to go to them. Tried to hit the keys and moving the mouse. I tried the F8 key and still nothing, it remains off. The keyboard and mouse are not wireless. Computer was working fine and it is all of a sudden just last night. Please help because it is extremely annoying:]

As a general rule, it should not beep repeatedly.

If Yes, then you can have some sort of hardware problem.

You know the brand and model of your tour?

The computer POST (Power On Self Test) tests the computer, ensure that it meets necessary and that all system requirements hardware working properly before starting the rest of the startup procedure.

If the computer passes the POST the computer will usually have a single beep (with some computer BIOS manufacturers it can beep twice) that the computer starts and the computer will continue to boot normally. However, if the computer falls down the POST, computer or no sounds at all or will generate a beep code, which informs the user of the source of the problem.

Generally, a short beep to the power up is a good sign.

If you hear beeps other, try to describe them in writing as best you can.  His brief, two short, a short one long, three short films, etc.

Try to describe the beeps like this:

    beep-beep-beep (3 short films)
    beep-beeeeeeeep (1 short, 1 long)
    beeeeeeep-beeeeeeep-beeeeeeep (3 long)
    beep (2 short films)

Sometimes, there is a simple configuration problem or a simple hardware problem that must be solved.

Have you done with the hardware changes lately (new RAM, video card, sound card, network card, modem card, hit nothing loose when cleaning...)?

Here are a few websites that allows you to try to interpret your beep codes:
