  • Why can't respond to the messages of my lock and the home screen?

I have the iPhone 6 + and I recently updated for IOS 10 and just discovered that I can't respond to the messages of my lock screen, or when they appear at the top of my home screen; I have to go in the app to answer. The only options I have when I slide right to lock screen is 'view' (which has just expanded the text) or 'clear', I found this quite irritating and regret the update of my phone. In the home screen when I pull down on the text, it just amplifies it and that's all, the keyboard is not pop up. Help, please...

    Hi there Choulian,

Welcome to Apple Support communities.  I'm glad you brought your question to be able to respond to messages directly from the lock screen, it is a feature I use all the time and I know it's convenient not having fully unlock and go to the app to respond quickly to a text.

Let's check some settings to make sure that we have everything set up correctly for you to be able to respond to messages from the lock screen.

    The application of settings:

    1. Touch ID & password (enter your access code)
    2. Scroll down to ALLOW ACCESS when it is LOCKED
    3. Don't forget that respond with Message is enabled and set to green

    Take care!

  • How to turn on the display power button programmatically?

    Hi all

Is it possible to switch the screen?

At least there is no API exposed to that, for third-party developers. Best you can do is keep the screen turn off, as long as your application is fullscreen and so control of this.

  • HP Envy 700-214: Message "locking of the power button.

I am getting an intermittent box appears which says "Power Button lockout".

Tour: HP Envy 700-214 with two display monitors

    Monitor 1: HP 2010 (DVI)

    Monitor 2: HP L1950g (VGA)

    Windows 8.1

Periodically this box appears on the monitor 1.  Sometimes the monitor turns off.  When I turn it back on, I'll get a surveillance area of the State, which opens by saying:

    DVI: assets

    VGA: No Signal

    1600 x 900 60 hz

Which is curious since the monitor that is upward is the DVI monitor.  However, this box disappears after a few seconds.

Is the problem with my video card in the computer, or is it with the monitor?

[ETA]  I stopped and restarted the computer and the monitor and held the key monitor more than 10 seconds, as suggested in other posts found here on this site. [/ETA]

Thank you very much.  Please let me know if you need more information.
